@Eirlys1986 yours will too 🤗

LeopardLover · 16/06/2023 21:07

@Eirlys1986 How are you feeling? I hope you're okay and being kind to yourself ❤️

@RoseH36 I'm so sorry you've been through this. Is there any hope at all? Sending you lots of squishy hugs!

Eirlys1986 · 16/06/2023 21:22

Hi @LeopardLover I’m feeling ok thanks. Had several hours of cramping alone after pessaries before the bleeding began and it’s been steady since then, I don’t think things have reached the expected “crescendo” yet so if that doesn’t happen by 24 hours I’ll speak to EPAU 👍🏻. Thanks so much for checking in. It has honestly helped me so much today the support everyone has given

LeopardLover · 16/06/2023 22:32

@Eirlys1986 Glad you're feeling OK, and that's a good plan to talk to EPAU if needed. Hopefully things continue to be manageable. ❤️

Everyone is so open and supportive in this thread. I feel like we're all in this together, through the highs and lows - we've got each other's backs! X

Angelsrose · 16/06/2023 23:46

Absolutely @LeopardLover we've got each other's backs!

RoseH36 · 17/06/2023 07:33

@LeopardLover zero chance, did a test this morning as didn't see the point waiting until Monday when I instinctively know, BFN as expected. Just shows that a really strong line on a test can mean FA when I've gone from that to nothing in 10 days.

Will call EPAU for some advice although I expect until I've gone through it again they won't do anything. The thing is I bled at 5 weeks with my first, turned out there were 2 sacs, the 2nd one had the start of a foetal pole but nothing else and most of that got absorbed naturally.

Last time I got to 11 weeks before I bled but everything had stopped at 6 weeks. Now this time round it's been about 4 and a half weeks.

So everytime I've been pregnant something has happened around a similar time frame.

@RoseH36 hopefully you'll get referred to recurrent miscarriage clinic and they can help out with some progesterone or baby aspirin or something after the tests. Three in a row is horrible

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 17/06/2023 08:09

And just so unfair

RoseH36 · 17/06/2023 08:12

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 thank you. It's certainly making me wonder if there is something going on. Just not sure if they'll count the first one or not given that I did have a baby so will see what they say.

Bumblebee413 · 17/06/2023 08:27

I’m so sorry @RoseH36 xxx

RoseH36 · 17/06/2023 08:35

@Bumblebee413 thank you. I've been preparing for the worst since getting the BFP so I don't feel it's come as such a huge surprise, although never thought it would be this early if it did happen again.

Un7breakable · 17/06/2023 08:36

@RoseH36 I'm so sorry this is happening to you. Hopefully you'll be referred

LeopardLover · 17/06/2023 09:20

@RoseH36 You've been through so much heartache, I'm so sorry 💔 like the others said I hope you get referred and they investigate what's going on. 😔 You deserve answers! Sending you much love x

Mrsspoon3 · 17/06/2023 09:31

Thanks @RoseH36 💗 I’m so so sorry to hear what you’re going through, and what you’ve been through before, it must feel so unfair. I can’t imagine the heartbreak you’ve experienced. Sending love to you and @Eirlys1986 💗 I hope you’re both feeling as ok as is possible during this horrible time.

Mrsspoon3 · 17/06/2023 09:33

That’s really interesting about your chart @Un7breakable! Thats reassuring it doesn’t have to look perfect to have ovulated and get a BFP!

I did another opk this morning. Is this positive? I wasn’t sure if it was fully positive or just nearly so? if positive does this mean Im likely to ovulate (if my body figures it out!) in 24-48 hours, like with the static smiley?

Angelsrose · 17/06/2023 09:59

@Mrsspoon3 that's definitely a positive OPK. Good luck this cycle!

Angelsrose · 17/06/2023 10:00

@RoseH36 I am so very sorry. I sending lots of love and comfort to you.

Mrsspoon3 · 17/06/2023 10:03

Thanks @Angelsrose! 😊

Un7breakable · 17/06/2023 10:07

@Mrsspoon3 positive. Don't do what I did and stop DTD the next day continue for a good few days. Good luck x

Muriel84 · 17/06/2023 10:08

Just checking in. I’ve not been online for a while as have had Covid awfully. Completely knocked me for six it’s going to take me a while to get over it. Having spotted throughout this pregnancy I then had an absolutely massive bleed yesterday with cramps that had me bent over double. Went down to epau and was seen very quickly by a consultant cos of the strikes. I was certain I was miscarrying but the scan showed my uterus filled with blood with the pregnancy still above. Was fairly horrendous I’m not one to show much emotion in public but was just sobbing. Just have spent the entire pregnancy expecting it to end. Am bleeding still quite heavily I have a large heamatoma. They’re scanning me again in 2 weeks or sooner if I have a heavier bleed.

Ive seen there’s been some bfps, lovely news ladies @Un7breakable that is an amazing dye stealer you have there.

@Eirlys1986 sending you all the love ❤️ ❤️❤️ thinking of you today x x x

Stephy1024 · 17/06/2023 10:27

Hi ladies I'm hoping it's ok to join. I had a missed miscarriage in April followed by some complications. Anyway I haven't had a period yet. But did a pregnancy test and it came up positive (very faint) I'm unsure if I still have pregnancy hormones from my miscarriage or if im actually pregnant again. Has anyone else had this. X

RoseH36 · 17/06/2023 10:39

@Un7breakable @Mrsspoon3 @LeopardLover @Angelsrose thank you. I've taken another look at the test I did this morning and there is actually the very faintest of lines. Called EPAU and they said to check in a week. If its the same they'll scan me but have cancelled Mondays scan for now. I asked about being referred and it will be up to my GP as to whether they'll class the first as a mc or not. However she's suggested I ask about progesterone as some GPs will prescribe it straight away and others won't unless there's any sign of bleeding. No idea how that would work as in my case it all happened so fast I wouldn't have had time to get a prescription anyway. So will call them next week and go from there.

@Muriel84 that sounds horrendous! I'm so pleased your pregnancy is still showing though, that's the kind of hope I was longing for but don't think I'll be as lucky. Fingers crossed it all works out for you.

@Stephy1024 sorry to hear about your mmc, I had the same in January. I was told not to DTD until I'd had a period and that the hormones can take a long time to leave your body so its a difficult one. I'd perhaps test in a few days, if it gets darker then you could well be.

Eirlys1986 · 17/06/2023 10:49

Thanks @Mrsspoon3- I am doing ok, yesterday had pain and bleeding and have been bleeding since starting meds at home for the missed miscarriage but I am as certain as can be it hasn’t “worked” as pain and stuff passed has been nowhere near severe enough to be a completed miscarriage. Waiting to hear back from consultant today as things are a bit more complicated re: next steps due to my past c section.
@Muriel84 this sounds so so awful and must’ve been the most distressing and scary thing ever. Look after yourself and be gentle with yourself these next 2 weeks whilst waiting for your next scan. I will be thinking of you.
Hello and welcome @Stephy1024 - as you can see I sadly am currently in process of trying to “complete” a missed miscarriage at 7 weeks found at 8 week scan. I presume you had a negative pregnancy test after the treatment for your miscarriage and maybe a scan to confirm things were complete? I would ring EPAU if I were you to resolve any doubt as to whether you have indeed fallen pregnant before cycles reappearing or whether there is still some pregnancy tissue retained xxxx all the best and keep us updated

Stephy1024 · 17/06/2023 11:04

Thank you @Eirlys1986. I'm sorry your currently going through this, I know exactly how you feel and it's just awful.

I probably should have given more information. Late April we went for a print scan, I should have been 10 weeks but was only measuring 6. After being referred to the hospital and scans a week apart we knew the pregnancy hadn't progressed at all. I had began bleeding 2 days before we went back to the hospital so opted for everything to come away naturally. Afew weeks later after still bleeding and positive test I was told I had remaining tissue. Then I took the tablets to help the rest come away. Continued bleeding for another week then stopped. 4 days ago I took a test as advised and it was negative. I've had some light spotting so thought my period was due and took another just to be sure and this one was positive. But now I'm thinking maybe I didn't check my first one properly. 😕. Really sorry for the long post I know its a read! I'll test again in two days and if its still positive I'll give them a ring. Thank you for listening to me xx

RoseH36 · 17/06/2023 11:10

@Stephy1024 yours is very similar to mine, I thought I was 11 weeks but the scan measured me at 6. It's such an awful thing to go though and you're sadly far from alone as you'll see from this group. But we are all here for support and to help each other 🙂
