@RoseH36 so sorry that happened to you, it must’ve been incredibly difficult having to tell people about your loss. I know facts and figures are not the most reassuring when emotions are at play but the chances of a repeat miscarriage for you are so low so I do hope the anxiety lessens for you soon and you can find more and more joy in your current pregnancy x

RoseH36 · 13/06/2023 16:55

@Eirlys1986 thank you, I'm trying to remain optimistic but having 2 family relations both have several doesn't help (not blood relatives so nothing genetic). But other people I know only had the 1. I think this is why I'm wanting to get some more tests to keep seeing a line, even though I know it doesn't mean anything necessarily.

LeopardLover · 13/06/2023 17:24

Gosh, of course. That would be really difficult on top of an already challenging time! 💜

CD8 over here, I didn't ovulate until CD19 last month. Due to ovulate over Glastonbury 🙃 not great timing!! I actually think I might miss the crucial window if I ovulate late again. 🙈

Eirlys1986 · 13/06/2023 17:31

Well I hope you enjoy Glastonbury regardless of ovulation timing! 👍🏻 😂 x

CurlyWurly1991 · 13/06/2023 18:11

Just catching up, I’m so very sorry to hear your news @Eirlys1986 xxx

Bumblebee413 · 13/06/2023 19:40

I’m so sorry @Eirlys1986. I’m glad that you’ve got a few days off work and your gorgeous fur baby and toddler to cuddle. Sending you so much love xxx

I'm really so sorry @Eirlys1986

Eirlys1986 · 14/06/2023 07:57

@RoseH36 totally understandable to keep wanting to see that line and do tests. Sorry about your family members experience of having several MC, that must make it seem a much more realistic and frightening prospect for you too. Sometimes I think we just have to try and trust the universe/whatever we may believe in is doing something in our best interests even if it seems cruel or not understandable and that things can go positively in our way again xx

SnookyPook · 14/06/2023 08:01

@Eirlys1986 that is such a good way to think of it and have had similar thoughts myself. I'm still so sad that the pregnancy ended, but at the same time, I know that if it wasn't viable, or it would have been a very poorly baby, I would rather it end like this quite early on rather than later. Absolutely trusting that the right one will come at the right time. However that doesn't always make the loss easier to bear in the moment.

RoseH36 · 14/06/2023 08:21

@Eirlys1986 that's definitely a good way to look at things. I do recall one of the team I saw saying to me that although it seems very unfair our bodies are actually doing the right thing for us as they've sensed something isn't right.

I also hadn't realised how low the chances are of having another mc after having one so trying to focus on that to try and keep positive.

Thanks everyone, I am definitely needing a big dollop of trust in the universe today 👍🏻 xxx

RoseH36 · 14/06/2023 11:44

Did any of you not really have many symptoms early on in pregnancy? I honestly can't recall if I was getting anything around 4 weeks with my first.

I've been feeling quite emotional at times and tired. The initial feelings of SPD I was getting have settled so now my brain is going in to panic mode as I'm convinced they stopped around the time of my mc when I look back.

I'm hoping I'm just overthinking things, I've no idea how to stop though and try and stay calm.

DmcinT · 14/06/2023 14:30

@RoseH36 with the triplets I had no real symptoms until the 6 week mark then I started to grow very fast & was so nauseous all the time. I’ve noticed this time I’ve swollen out very quick but it’s prob because it’s so soon after.

anyone else so tired with the heat, feel like I constantly need to nap 😅
I’m not sure how to stop the worrying, have u been in with the dr yet?

RoseH36 · 14/06/2023 17:03

@DmcinT Glad to hear it's normal, I've blocked so much of the last time from my mind and with my first it's been 4 years since I was pregnant (conceived him in June 2019 so maybe June is a good month for me 🤞) so can't remember anything about that time either.

No not yet, I'm going to wait until next week now. I won't delay it any longer than that but I think it's almost a denial thing, like if I don't call them then it's not real so I'm not having to work towards any dates for scans etc.

CurlyWurly1991 · 14/06/2023 17:17

BFN for me today, think I’m 12-15DPO so waiting for my period to start. Although so many missed temps on my chart I don’t know if I’ve even ovulated… so boring waiting !! 😆

Un7breakable · 14/06/2023 20:54

@CurlyWurly1991 sorry to hear that. Hopefully AF will come soon and you can start a new cycle.

My ovulation date keeps changing in the app so I'm somewhere between 10 and 15 dpo. No spotting yet so even though this.cycle has been really frustrating I'm happy with that.

DmcinT · 14/06/2023 21:01

@CurlyWurly1991 sorry about the bfn although ur still not out 🤞🏽 I hear ya on the waiting.. it’s hard going❤️

@Un7breakable are u holding out testing? (Uve better patience than me, I have in at 9 dpo😂)

Un7breakable · 14/06/2023 21:06

@DmcinT Every month I test and it's a waste as it's never positive. If I'm 10 days AF would be due Saturday. I'll probably test Friday or Saturday if AF hasn't turned up. Otherwise I test and still have a bit of hope as I go oh well it's early. I don't want to do that to myself again.

RoseH36 · 14/06/2023 22:20

@CurlyWurly1991 sorry to hear that. All the tracking of temps looks so complicated. I've only ever used the clearblue ovulation tests.

@Un7breakable that's what I've always done too and every time AF turned up that day or the next day as if taunting me. That's why this time round I held off as long as I could.

Pineappleapple · 15/06/2023 07:01

Hi everyone. Been missing for a bit, once period came I wanted to switch off a bit from all the TTC. Kind of nice not to be doing ovulation tests and DTD though that sounds bad! Will catch up, about 6 pages behind. Hope you are all ok

RoseH36 · 15/06/2023 09:10

Just been to the toilet and this is on the paper, quite browny in colour. Now panicking it's the start of a mc. Not sure what to do 😥

@RoseH36 hey 👋, sorry that’s really stressful. It only looks a very small amount though at present so this is a positive thing, it may just be cervical irritation and a bit of spotting relating to that. Why not ring your EPAU for advice? That way you will feel you are actively doing something even if they just ask you to monitor situation for the time being. Sending hugs xx
