I can see lots of TWW threads for end of April but I thought I’d start one for any of us who are 1dpo in early May.

I’m 1dpo today. Fourth cycle of trying for second baby. Ovulation day came a week early for us this week, but we DTD 3 times in the fertile window so I’m hopeful.

I don’t remember getting any early symptoms with my last pregnancy.

I usually test waaaay too much. So get ready to see loads of iffy faint lines -ha!

Oh that's interesting @HavinKittens - in all the time I've ever taken OPK (on and off over 7 years) I've never had a test line stronger than the control line, even when I conceived DS! The OPK that prompted me to test HCG was not dissimilar to the one I've posted today.

Have you got another FRER to do tomorrow?

Yeah, I've got about 4 FRER in my cupboard that I ordered last month, and plenty of Easy@Home HCG tests. I'm going to continue checking OPK - if they seem peak-ish I'll test with a E@H first.

well I have deff cramps & twinges on and off this evening and stomach is so bloated, that swollen feeling where there no way u could hold in. I’m 8/9 dpo so poss implantation. I was thinking would it be af but I’ve never gotten it 5/6 days early, I’ve a short enough cycle as it is at 27 days so now I’m doubting it could be af related but who knows really 😂🤷🏽‍♀️

I think it's just the way the photo is compressed, I looked too and could see what I thought was a line and can assure you it's definitely not like that!

I've done another OPK which is stronger than the one done this afternoon 😂

Keeping fingers crossed for you @PollyDarton1 I totally can see a faint line on your frer how confusing !!

Took a OPK late last night, still nearly positive.

FMU did OPK (high) and FRER (definitely negative).

Will test OPK during the day but don't think I'm pregnant, I think that photo was just compressed as I've looked at the test and it's definitely not showing a line!

Are you only 9dpo though??

If I ovulated and missed it on CD14-16 then yes, would be about 9 DPO. Going by the temp dip/ovulation pain it seems I possibly ovulated on 31st May/1st June but my OPK were negative 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ah sorry it wasn’t positive this morning Polly, still early if you ovulated 31st/1st though, as you say

I'm sorry @HavinKittens - have you been charting BBT at all to see if you have a temp spike?

My first reading was 35.9 but then I fell asleep as I was doing it, woke up ten mins later and it was 36.34 which was a spike. I've taken the first reading though. It's down .09 from yesterday.

Yes I’ve been tracking bbt except forgetting yesterday. It’s much more all over the place than last month. But last month my temp was already dropping at 9dpo so I guess it’s promising that it was still rising this morning.

Morning all, 8DPO here and my temp has spiked a bit this morning but looking back at last months my temp was all over the place in the TWW, and increased sharply about 12DPO then came plummeting down before AF starting 14DPO. So I don't think I can predict anything from my BBT. I just have my usual fatigue, vvvvvvv slightly tender/lumpy boobs which I always get.

Tested this morning, only about 9 dpo so I know it’s way too early but do we see anything there?

Yes @DmcinT i think I see a super faint line! Can you see it in person?

@HavinKittens yeah it’s clear in person but I’m just afraid it’s a dodgy test, I’ll wait until tomorr🙈 this is what I get for testing way too early😅

That looks promising! I've dipped the last 2 days so if I am 8/9 DPO it doesn't look very good for me as it should be rising.

That said I have a really odd sleeping pattern and often get up in the night for 20-30 mins (I can get to sleep easily, but can't stay asleep!) ever since I had my DS. Plus a car alarm was going off 😂 I think I was up around 2am so my BBT measurement was 6am.

@HavinKittens @DmcinT @CinderRosie what sort of thermometer do you use for your BBT? I have a natural cycles oral therm but wondering whether it would be better to use the ear one. Normally my BBT during the day is around 37.2.

@PollyDarton1 I have one from Amazon which goes under the tongue, think it is a brand called Femometer, £6.99 on there currently.

@PollyDarton1 I’ll hold off until tomorr now as I’ve 4 tests left 😅 but I know tomorr (10 dpo) is still a bit too early, I’ll wait until 12 and 14 then. It’s just so tempting when they are there 🙈

I don’t temp but I think I’ll start now next month if we’re unsuccessful.
