I can see lots of TWW threads for end of April but I thought I’d start one for any of us who are 1dpo in early May.

I’m 1dpo today. Fourth cycle of trying for second baby. Ovulation day came a week early for us this week, but we DTD 3 times in the fertile window so I’m hopeful.

I don’t remember getting any early symptoms with my last pregnancy.

I usually test waaaay too much. So get ready to see loads of iffy faint lines -ha!

I am also trying hard to resist doing any more tests til tomorrow morning.

I use the easy at home Bluetooth thermometer, which goes under the tongue. I promise I’m not on commission for easy at home 😅

@HavinKittens I’m the same but it’s hard not to be hopeful when u see a hint of a line. I’ve never had a dodgy test before (evaps/indents etc) so not exactly sure what it looks like and if this is one.

was wondering does anyone know on the hcg 10 sensitivity tests… if they show a very faint line does that mean it’s less than 10 (say 5-9) and when hcg gets to 10 they show a darker line? Or does anyone know for sure?

Hm good question and I don’t know. Lines get darker as pregnancy goes on so I guess darker is always more but don’t know if you can be that accurate about it

yeah I suppose once hcg is rising and over 5 it prob starts to give a faint line.

@HavinKittens ok I’ve done a bit of digging to see what the story was with my tests after my MC. I was in for bloods every 48 hrs until hcg was under 5 but I was doing tests at home too to see when I’d get a negative test. So the last one I can find (attached) was when my hcg was 18 that day! So even over 10 it gives a v v faint line (thought it was interesting to know) 😂

Oh yeah actually you’ve reminded me when I had my MC I had a similar thing, I think my level was around 20 ish when they did my final blood test and I still had faint lines on cheap tests that day and the next

OPK's are getting weaker, so I'm going to assume I ovulated on CD25!

Does anyone know if the early detection Boots tests are prone to idents/evaps? I think I have a vvvv faint line, I saw it within the window but has dried a tad clearer.

Ou no I’ve used them a few times and never a line like that, always stark white!!

Those pics are about two hours after doing it, but I could see it before the time limit.

I’ve heard that those tests are really reliable @PollyDarton1 and don’t produce evaps or false positives even after the time window. So I’d be tentatively optimistic?! Do you have another test to do in the morning?

Yes I’d be optimistic too. I did the same test this morning and checked hours later and it was still stark negative. I think they’re pretty reliable.

we’ll I ended up testing again this evening after abt 4 hr hold, I had bits of water and 2 ice pops so was prob still a bit diluted but I think I see it more than this morning anyways, thoughts?

@DmcinT definitely a faint positive there, no squinting required!

I've got another few tests I can do tomorrow, but going to try and limit to FMU. Who am I kidding, if I see anything on the first one I'll be testing 😂

@PollyDarton1 😂 I was the same, really thought I’d wait until morning. It’s just too tempting when they are there.

@HavinKittens deff an exciting day, I was thinking with a few of us around the same dpo we’d have a few positives around the same few days.

I kinda want to go to bed just to wake up in the morning and test 🙈😂 (so afraid it’s not real)

I’ve had some mild period like pain this evening. 9dpo seems a bit early for period pain, so could maybe be implantation but feel like that’s wishful thinking

Also I’ve had that thought before @DmcinT , go to bed so I can test sooner 😂

I’ve been keeping a wee note of different things all week and yesterday I’d a few twinges, sharp wee dagger feelings that I wrote down if I end up bfp this must have been implantation.

I have everything crossed that this is implantation for u 🙏🏽🤞🏽❤️

Tested this morning and negative - both on Boots and Easy@home. No idea what yesterday was about 😂 I think I got carried away thinking I could have ovulated and not known it, but everything else bar that one test has been negative and I'd be 10DPO if I ovulated on CD14.

Weirdly I have had a massive temp dip today, and if I ovulated when I originally thought (CD 26) I would be 2-3 DPO.

10dpo negative test and huge temp drop here this morning. I think I’m probably out this cycle. Trying to see the bright side, I can take advantage of the free bar at the wedding I’m going to in a few weeks

Just checking in! Lots going on since I last visited... I'm roughly 8DPO and going to try and hold out until Wednesday to use a FRER (period due Friday). Tried not to symptom spot but I've had some nausea and cramping on and off the last day or so, keep getting foot cramp and feel tired... we shall see!
