I can see lots of TWW threads for end of April but I thought I’d start one for any of us who are 1dpo in early May.

I’m 1dpo today. Fourth cycle of trying for second baby. Ovulation day came a week early for us this week, but we DTD 3 times in the fertile window so I’m hopeful.

I don’t remember getting any early symptoms with my last pregnancy.

I usually test waaaay too much. So get ready to see loads of iffy faint lines -ha!

Could anyone help me with this test. It's really early, 6dpo. I'm meant to be going out tomorrow with the girls drinking and I need to cancel if this is a positive..
I've played around with the image settings to see if it's clearer... I'm sure I can see the tiny tiny hint or a line. Am I going mad? Is it too early for a positive?
I'm so on the brink of getting excited but I don't want to be super sad if it's just too early to know.

@HavinKittens that makes sense, thanks for explaining. I've had my own suspicions about my cycle after loss in September and had some blood tests and a scan, but I'm still not convinced I'm back to normal, so hard to tell.

@teaontap21 i see the line, did it come up within the window? Those tests are awful for evaps! But if it came up in the window I’d be tentatively optimistic!

CD9/10 for me and got a flashing smiley on the CB digital, let the DTD commence eeeek!

@CinderRosie I think it was just outside the time frame. It was meant to be read after 3 minutes so I did and took it straight down to DP to help me read it and I couldn't decide if I was seeing things or not so took a picture. It might have been a couple minutes past the 3 minute wait but felt like it all happened very quickly. I just want tomorrow to come now so I can test again and have a better idea.

@teaontap21 good luck for tomorrows test - do you have any FRER, or apparently Boots early result pink dye tests are supposed to be even better x

@CinderRosie yes I do! I have the boots early ones and some FRER ones that came in the post this afternoon. I did the clearblue thinking it would be the most reliable haha. Tomorrow morning I will do a FRER one and a boots one. Hopefully it gets a little darker line

6dpo is pretty early to get a positive. Any chance you ovulated earlier than you thought?

No I think I must have ovulated either Saturday night or Sunday sometime. This is the first month I've used ovulations strips and I caught my peak last Saturday afternoon. I really hope another test in the morning helps things.

Yes I think I'll skip the drinking this time just case.

Just a quick update, the second clue blue this morning is another faint faint line but the boots early one was a BFN..

Not sure how much to trust the clearblue ones. I know they detect really small amounts of hcg but I don't want to trust it if other tests are coming up BFN.

I think all you can do is keep on testing in the coming days and hopefully you’ll have more positives x

Yes I think I just need to hold off on tests and wait. I wish I hadn't even seen that one from yesterday now tbh.

Getting some line progression! Tentatively excited. Feeling quite nauseous and tired today at 12dpo. Feels different to my previous pregnancy which is good as that one ended at 6 weeks.

Can someone explain ovulation tests to me please?
You need the line to be really dark, right? And then that means the egg will be released within the next couple of days?

Yes when the line is as dark as the control, or darker, then you should ovulate 24-36 hours after the first time this happens. Some people have a quick peak and some people have positives for days.

It's my first month using them.

I dunno what kind you have but I use east at home and I like the app . You can scan the test with your phone camera and it reads the darkness for you, and tells you when you’re having your peak.

How's everyone's month going?

Coming up to my Window now, I've decided I'm not going to be using OPK's this month. I'm feeling a bit more relaxed about things :)

Went away for a long weekend, assumed I was on my period so took no tests. Tested last night as felt sick and got a positive CB digital and stronger line on a cheapie.

Feels as if my lines should be darker by now and concerned about the bleeding so going to call EPU and push for a scan and bloods tomorrow. I'm eligible for extra tests etc due to my loss in March.

I’m glad you’re feeling more relaxed. I’m sure that helps massively.

I wanted to lay off the tests this cycle too, but cause of the test I’m having next week I need to be sure about when I’m ovulating.

I think I’ll be ovulating earlier again, which I think is good. Starting to have the usual signs (ewcm) but no positive OPK yet.

I’ve got a huge family wedding in July so trying to tell myself if I’m not pregnant before then the silver lining is that I get to enjoy myself 😅

@fleur89 I was wondering how u were doing. Good to hear Ull get extra scans and that with epu, please god everything is ok now for u 🤞🏽

@HavinKittens @Soph2512 I got peak this morning, feeling a little nervous and kinda annoyed I’ve to go to work😂 it’ll be this evening by time we dtd so 🤞🏽 And it’s into the TWW again for me

I think I still have until the weekend before I would Ovulate. but lets see. Im trying not to think to heavily about it if im honest, easier said than done.
