Hi everyone!!
Wanted to start another group thread for those TTC that are 35+.
When I was first trying, this group helped me a lot. We bonded and went through pains and celebrations together. I had two MCs over 2yrs of trying and lots of crying as I was typing many of my posts. Support helped... Especially at this age.
I had my first baby Jan 2022 and here we are now trying for baby #2.
I'll be 40 this summer!!!

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 I am harnessing all the positive thinking and energy I can, even have my rose quartz by my bed! Hopefully we get some more happy endings in this thread as well ❤.

The IVF wait is even tougher as I am waiting for an appointment date to get a transabdominal stitch put in, I have a cervical stitch with my recent loss, it was the stitching opening that allowed the infection in. So get the abdominal stitch, then get back onto the waitlist for our FET, fingers crossed we should be getting our transfer in May. Until then we can try ourselves though, miracles happen!

The opks are definitely useful, I've attached a screenshot from mine this month. I really just wanted to understand my cycle again, that's why I've gone for these, clearblue opks and temping 🙈

I started doing OPK again today at CD7. Obvs low at 0.12, mine don’t tend to start increasing until CD10 then peak CD12... usually.

The easyathome ones are good. Been using them for a while to track. Very cheap on Amazon.

I'm out this month, AF finally turned up with avengence.

So pleased I found this ....42 yo soon .TTC for a years and no baby so now considering doing IVF with donor eggs . I will become a mother regardless the misconception of a using a donor. Now I am trying to screen the clinics uk/abroad and just do it . Mhmmmm I make it sound so straight forward but deep inside I am worried and full of if's ....any suggestions/recommendations in regards of the clinics are you using?

Hi ladies, I'd like to join your gang!
Technically not TTC yet as I'm waiting for my first AF having come off the depo injection..I only had one in September so hoping it won't take too long!
I just turned 40 in December.
I've got a 21yo, a 20yo and a 10yo and DH has a 24yo!
We just got married in Nov and would love a baby together!
Still DTD lots.. we are newlyweds! And have a faint hope I might catch when I first ovulate..whenever that may be! Doing random OPK's to get an idea. Had some faint lines a few weeks ago but not a strong one so who knows!
Sprinkling baby dust to you all!!!

Ladies can you help me.. so im still doin a flashing smiley on cb but took these cheapies 27th is yest and bottom one is this morn there. Am i in anyway getting close i mean i feel its nearly there but .. lmao who knows 🤣

So today marks day 11 of flashing smile face! However the test window both strips are the same width and colour.. when I log into pre mom it comes up with 1.14? But I know some say its not compatible with that? Every other time I've logged them (in the other tabs) they haven't been like that, they have been lower or up to 0.5. However I took a strip at the same time and that was 0.25. So confused! Xxx

You have to keep at it tho i know im the same being like todays the day its static and nope. .. im gettin crampy i woke up in a sweat in the middle of the night .. tmi but had alot of wattery cm the past 2 days which changed to ewcm i live in absolute hope! Have you any signs of ov?

Hi, can I join? 40 in a few weeks, TTC #2. On cycle 9, I've had bloods done which all came back normal.

Would be good to have some TTC buddies as I'm feeling a bit deflated about it, we conceived our first so quickly (and I'm only now seeing how lucky we were!) that I've convinced myself it's just not going to happen at all this time round. I need some positivity!

@Floralsandsmiles @Freya8 I feel your pain. This is day 6 of flashing faces. I hoped for my static yesterday. Only got 3 sticks left so fingers crossed for my static.

Not TTC yet but because I'm breastfeeding I want to make sure I'm ovulating. We want to start TTC in April

@TrudyProud are you using wee cheapies also along with cb? My problem is i think wayyy too much and almost create problems in my head! Im already reading into it that ive missed my surge!

@Freya8 I'm only using CB . Though expensive I hoped that I'd see my peak on CB then move to the cheapies when TTC - DH thought best so I didn't get in my own head with false negatives/positives on the cheapies.

Gaaagh it's a minefield. I really hoped it would be less stressful TTC no2 but now it's a different stress 😫

Thanks @BengalMama I have noticed mine have increased this afternoon and normally they stay way low! Also I can feel something going on.. so we will have to see. Will test later tonight. I'm sure I'm just imagining things as always though! Xxx

I'm keeping mone crossed for you too @TrudyProud ! It's gone very quick! I was 0.25 this AM, 0.37 at lunch and now 1.40! Lol look at this chart! Xxx
