VixFromThe6ix · 24/02/2023 01:42

Hi everyone!!
Wanted to start another group thread for those TTC that are 35+.
When I was first trying, this group helped me a lot. We bonded and went through pains and celebrations together. I had two MCs over 2yrs of trying and lots of crying as I was typing many of my posts. Support helped... Especially at this age.
I had my first baby Jan 2022 and here we are now trying for baby #2.
I'll be 40 this summer!!!
Join me and share your story ☺️

@Mummyme87 sorry its not been the darker result you were hoping for. You are right, I can’t see it in this picture but unlikely to come out on camera when very faint. Must be all so stressful and upsetting for you xxx

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 13/04/2023 16:01

@Mummyme87 how stressful to left without a clear answer today. Hoping it darkens later /tomorrow

Mummyme87 · 13/04/2023 17:01

I think I’m probably out. A slight pink tinge to cm this afternoon. I’ll retest tomorrow if no AF

vitahelp · 13/04/2023 19:23

I’m so sorry @Mummyme87 it must be so hard not knowing and the lines getting your hopes up. I hope the pink you saw wasn’t AF xx

LeopardLover · 13/04/2023 20:47

@Mummyme87 Oh gosh, you've been on such a roller coaster! Sending you all the positive vibes!

@Poppy708 How are you feeling today? It's totally understandable you'd be feeling so upset. Lots of great advice from the others. I do think perhaps he is just having a wobble... Would be good to clarify ASAP so you aren't left wondering! And a letter is a great idea of you can't discuss it without getting too emotional (I'm like this).

@TrudyProud I vote you try Sunday if you can! It really is super stressful. I find taking my BBT the worst, so I'll start off without this when I begin TTC!

Mummyme87 · 14/04/2023 07:25

I dont even know what’s going on at the moment. I ended up testing last night which was silly. There was a faint line again , like the evening before. I have no tests left so can’t do anything but wait for now. I looked back at my tests from last night and the night before. The one I dipped in water has no line at all, no evap nothing, the ones with lines are definitely there and pink. I know it means nothing as they’ve dried but it’s all very odd. No AF this morning. Gahhh bloody body

Mummyme87 · 14/04/2023 07:28

These are my tests. Totally random. The waiting game continues

@Mummyme87 I think you are pregnant, otherwise there is no way you would have so many positive tests especially on Boots which don't have a reputation for false positives as far as I know.
I just hope you see some line progression soon. Having said that, I've seen so many people on here who got continuous faint lines with no progression and got in a panic and then turn out to have a healthy pregnancy, so it is important not to put too much emphasis on the line getting darker.
Would your AF have been due today?

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 14/04/2023 08:29

@Mummyme87 I can see a line on the 12th one. The 13th first one the line looks too far to the left, and the bottom test looks invalid because all of the dye has collected at the top. Have you any different tests? Something is up if your period hasn't arrived.

Mummyme87 · 14/04/2023 08:35

I thought AF was due yesterday but could be today. I’ve been thrown by the long LH surge on OPK.
im just waiting it out. I think AF will come today, just a gut feeling. The two evening tests are both pink and the whole line is there, just the bottom one is a bit darker at the top, hard to capture on photos. If AF doesn’t turn up, I’ll get an early detection digital because I’m done with these bloody lines.

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 14/04/2023 08:49

@Mummyme87 hope your period doesn't arrive today! And you get a digital positive later on

Eirlys1986 · 14/04/2023 08:56

@Mummyme87 it does seem highly suspicious to be getting multiple false positives. Fingers crossed for no AF and the digital test later for you x

Freya8 · 14/04/2023 09:16

@Mummyme87 totally frickin routing for ya!!! I mean i can see all the lines clearly! Ffs would be so cruel if all of them were bloody indents or evaps fingers crossed for the digital🤞 xx

Muriel84 · 14/04/2023 09:19

@Mummyme87 they look positive to me. Positive tests and no AF sounds like you’re pregnant! 🤞🤞🤞 maybe you ovulated later than you thought if you had a long surge? Xx

TrudyProud · 14/04/2023 10:28

Fingers crossed you get the result you want @Mummyme87 . If AF hasn't arrived you are definitely in with a shot.

I've only used FRER and CB digital and they gave me strong lines/weeks pregnant at 14DPO so can see why you'd be frustrated.

Try to stop testing and wait it out or maybe ask your gp to do bloods to check hcg levels maybe? Good luck

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 14/04/2023 11:08

How is everyone getting on?

I'm on my fourth day of pink tinged cm, and now it's gone ewcm. Which I think means eostrogen, and so something isn't right. This length of spotting is a new thing, and the fact it started at 9dpo for me this cycle must mean my hormones are still out of whack. Sigh. Maybe I need to get my progesterone tested

Muriel84 · 14/04/2023 12:20

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 what dpo are you? I spotted 9po-11 last cycle. Really annoying. I don’t think I’m that good at picking up ewcm. Fairly sure I did ovulate tho as had peak opk and then cramping and other signs on cd14. I’m 7dpo today. On leave and doing a fairly good job of not obsessing so far… hoping not to test until 11dpo at least. But we’ll see. Xx

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 14/04/2023 12:41

@Muriel84 oh enjoy your leave! That is annoying, why do our bodies do such weird things! 7 dpo is a tricky one, over half way thru the tww.

I'm CD 29, 13 dpo. Period should be arriving today. I normally spot the day before, very occasionally 2 days before.

Un7breakable · 14/04/2023 12:59

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 have you started any different supplements?

I have a week of spotting before AF since I started TTC (FML). I've just done a superdrug progesterone test to check. GP referred me for a scan which happened yesterday, radiographer said nothing obvious visible but my scan wasn't clear as I didn't have a full bladder.

GP did say spotting doesn't always prevent implantation so fingers crossed for both of us.

Radiographer was very rough with the probe and I'm not bruised on my abdomen. Hope it doesn't effect anything 😔

TTCnumberfour · 14/04/2023 12:59

I am due AF in around 2 days and have been experiencing cramps and stretching sensations twinges in my lower abdomen and hips. I tested yesterday and it was negative. They don’t really feel much like period cramps but could be the start of AF arriving.

Un7breakable · 14/04/2023 13:21

Am bruised that's meant to say

Mummyme87 · 14/04/2023 15:43

Sorry it was a difficult scan @Un7breakable did they not do a transvaginal scan?

so I’ve been out today with my 19week pregnant best friend. Was nice to be able to share my stress over tests with her.
No AF still!! Jeepers. Loads of watery clear mucous but no period. There was a tiny amount of brown mixed in with mucous this morning around 10am but nothing since. My cervix is closed and just clear cm. And on we go

Eirlys1986 · 14/04/2023 16:23

@Mummyme87 hopefully all good signs, wonder if the brown mixed in with mucus may be some old implantation stuff coming down?

FiddleLeaf · 14/04/2023 16:26

Hey ladies, AF is due tomorrow and I’m fully expecting her appearance. I haven’t even bothered testing this month 😂Shame because I felt so optimistic entering the 2WW but I have zero symptoms apart from an upset stomach which isn’t uncommon for me.

One more cycle and we’re moving onto IVF 💸

Un7breakable · 14/04/2023 16:31

@Mummyme87 How many dpo are you?

They did a transvaginal as well which I didn't think they were going to but doctor ordered it.l, which was fine. It was my fault it was an early appointment so I just drank the water the letter said but apparently first thing you're dehydrated so none of it goes to your bladder.
