Hi everyone!!
Wanted to start another group thread for those TTC that are 35+.
When I was first trying, this group helped me a lot. We bonded and went through pains and celebrations together. I had two MCs over 2yrs of trying and lots of crying as I was typing many of my posts. Support helped... Especially at this age.
I had my first baby Jan 2022 and here we are now trying for baby #2.
I'll be 40 this summer!!!

@AgeGapBbe what cycle are you on hun?

I’ve been to bed past midnight probably once in the last three years so there’s no way I’d be springing into action at that time! We have the opposite issue this month, both me and OH off work for most of my FW, LO in nursery three days. No one staying with us. Next month will not be like this! Hope works ok today. Xx

14 months of no contraception, about 10 months of tracking ovulation and dtd at the right time. Not a snifter of anything in that whole time.

@AgeGapBbe I'm sorry babe 😔 that must be tough. Second cycle for me but I feel like this will be a long road ahead.

8dpo bfn. Likely out this cycle again. Now just gotta wait till my period comes to start it all over again

Omg I've just wiped and there is loads of CM as I haven't been to the toilet all day and abit of pink! No!!! I'm really hoping that I'm not spotting this early as I'm only 7dpo!!! Could this be implantation bits of blood, because of what happened last night? (Periody cramps and then shooting pain unto my lady parts.. not to mention being hotter than the sun all yesterday and evening before..) xxx

@Floralsandsmiles could we’ll be implantation related. It’s a terrible case of wait and see isn’t it? So stressy x

I'm really panicking now as spotting didn't start until 9dpo last month and this is too early! Plus I was hoping it was implantation last night! 😫😫😫 xxxx

@Floralsandsmiles Im sorry 😞 it’s majorly crappy when you are in that wait period and then a curveball like this happens. You never know, it may be earlier than average implantation or maybe something hormonal happening to your cervix perhaps to cause the mild blood staining to the mucus

@AgeGapBbe I’m sorry to hear that. Have you had any tests? This is just our second cycle but for various reasons it’s likely to take us a while x

I’m 8DPO today and pretty sure I’m out. No boob ache and I have a chronic condition that improves dramatically during pregnancy but I’m currently flaring up 😕. One more month of TTC and then we’re going down the IVF route.

Oh I’m 7DPO today 🤦🏻‍♀️

@FiddleLeaf you’re only 7dpo, pregnancy may not have even implanted so surrey condition wouldn’t improve that quickly?

Possibly but I have been pregnant before and has symptoms super early. I knew by 6DPO something was afoot so I’m assuming I’ll feel that way again.

The worst! And then the want to rush to being in the fertile window again!

@Muriel84 ive had all my hormones checked and they’re all good. Had an internal ultrasound for mid cycle bleeding which I had for a couple of months, a number of months ago now. They found a couple of small fibroids they want to remove but nothing seems to suggest they’d really stop conception. DP is meant to be doing a sleek sample…

mum on 87 days of ‘high fertility’ now, I very much doubt it…

That's exactly where I am. Wishing period already came. Got my bfn today so just wanna finish this cycle

@FiddleLeaf not necessarily. All pregnancies are different. I had a spot of blood on 7dpo with DS2 but nothing with any other pregnancies. They are all very different

@AgeGapBbe I had fibroids for my first pregnancy (sure they're still there just haven't had a scan since). I know you mentioned you might have them removed before

Having made my decision to duck out of this cycle due to potential close Boxing Day due date, I am now impatient to get period done and get going with next cycle and OPK testing. I carried on testing this cycle anyway as I had already started before the due date debacle became apparent so thought I may as well continue. I think ovulation happened yesterday so day 17 of cycle! Which seems bananas as last months cycle only lasted 24 days. Bit concerning, we shall see when AF comes.

@Eirlys1986 thank you for checking in.. I want to tentatively say that there has been no more pink tinge since yesterday the one time everything else has been clear again...
Also I had cramping yesterday evening and I have a tender stomach and boobs. So I'm really really crossing all my fingers!!!!
Where should be the point the stomach is tender? I'm thinking just below belly button and along? Xxx

@Floralsandsmiles great news. I don’t think there would be a specific place necessarily that would be tender that would make pregnancy more likely. I can remember with my first having a lot of cramps just like period about to begin and then lost a reasonably sized clot in mucus then nothing more. When period then didn’t come a day later and cramping randomly settled I did a test and BFP. Really hoping for you! As @VixFromThe6ix says, we definitely need a bfp on here to give us all lots of hope
