@LMM91x im so pleased for you! I’d be really interested to hear whether you get a dating scan as I’m hoping I’ll be in the same boat as you later this week - I’m waiting until Thursday to POAS which will put me at 14dpo after my MC

Enjoy the state of disbelief and happiness for now and relax and take it easy! x

LMM91x · 13/02/2023 12:54

@SMG1992 I will let you know! ❤️ eeeeek fingers crossed for Thursday for a pretty line 🥹 I can’t stop looking at mine, can’t believe it’s actually MINE!

Chellooo · 13/02/2023 13:45

@LMM91x awww congratulations what a gorgeous line!!!

My smug little bastard of a smiley face appeared this morning flashing away again... need him to hurry up and go static so I can get a break from the hubby lol 😂

LMM91x · 13/02/2023 13:56

@Chellooo thank you so much! omg the smug shit! I had it for i think 6 or 7 days before static this month so don’t lose the faith ! It will stop at some point 🤣🤣

Bubblemachiene · 13/02/2023 14:54

@Chellooo @LMM91x do you wait for a static before u dtd or whilst it's flashing
How long after mc did u get a negative pregnancy test x

Ttcpph · 13/02/2023 15:14

Pasted as also posted in another thread:

Hi, I'd also love to join the thread!

we conceived July last year but unfortunately ended in October with a MMC, medical and surgery.
been trying again since December.
I think I'm 7DPO today. The last few nights I've been waking up at 3/4am and also having vivid dreams. Does anyone think it could be a good sign?

its so hard even letting myself consider that I might be pregnant again as the loss last time hit me so hard, I'm not sure I could go through all that a 2nd time.

I took a FRER test on Saturday (5 DPO , BFN, I don't know why I bothered 😂)

I really want to hold off as long as I can before I take another one.

I have had what feel like AF cramps on and off for a few days.

boobs feel normal

Kranke · 13/02/2023 15:14

Hi all, would like to join too! I had 3 miscarriages, then a successful pregnancy, then an ectopic last year. Started ttc again late December and had a period 16 Jan. Due on today, but I feel like my period is about to arrive as I’m feeling very heavy. If I don’t come in tomorrow I’ll try a test, just hate raising my hopes! I think I only felt properly pregnant in my successful one at 25wks!!

LMM91x · 13/02/2023 15:34

@Bubblemachiene yes dtd on flashing and static (I ovulated on a Monday and had sex Thurs, Sun, Mon ) so one of those stuck!

i would say both times i’ve fallen ive used preseed - could be a coincidence or it just really works for me! I was trying before I fell first time for 4 months ish and first month using preseed fell so if you havent given it a try I would recommend x

@Ttcpph hello sorry you’re here :( I am now a total advocate of waiting to test so no second guessing ! My boobs also feel totally normal- normally I get the worstttt sore boobs and thats a sign i’m coming on so i’m gonna take it as a good sign🤣

Chellooo · 13/02/2023 15:38

@Bubblemachiene no no have been dtd on the flashy to cover bases but the longer the wee shite hangs about the more I look at the earlier sessions as wasted lol it's been 5 days of it so just want the static to appear so I'm sure...but mu temp spiked this morning so I've no idea what's going on 🙄

Ttcpph · 13/02/2023 15:42

@Bubblemachiene Have you tried the cheaper easy@home ovulation test sticks? I found them to be really helpful as you can see a more clear line progression and then an obvious darker test line so you know it's the right time.
I have honestly found the CB expensive digital ones to be a little temperamental but that is just my experience, others swear by them.

Ttcpph · 13/02/2023 15:43

@Chellooo sorry, meant to tag you but tagged the wrong person 🙈 see my earlier post

Chellooo · 13/02/2023 16:05

Yeah they're a bit weird...the first time we got pregnant it was when using them and it was first try... so splashed out on the advanced and now gettin taunted by the flashys...might go back to the old ones

Bubblemachiene · 13/02/2023 17:01

@Ttcpph I've only ever used the cheap ovulation straps not easy @ home just cheap clear & simple from the range

@LMM91x what is pressed? Is that lube? 🙈 I have seen ppl on here mention it, do people use lube anyway and switch to this one when ttc? It's never crossed my mind that. I'd never heared of pressed until now

MrsC2018 · 13/02/2023 17:07

Strange update from me - from the second ultrasound this morning they're not sure if baby is actually attached to the c section scar or just close. It's only a non viable pregnancy if it's attached so they're going to have an MDT tomorrow to discuss, and then arrange an MRI to determine what the next steps are. We're not out of the woods yet even if baby isn't attached to the scar, as there wasn't a heartbeat yet so I guess it also depends if baby continues to develop. Just got to sit tight and see what happens over the coming days/weeks, but for today at least - I'm pregnant

FfoxRedN · 13/02/2023 17:17

@MrsC2018 this must be absolute turmoil for you lovely, after all you've been through. I hope in the coming days you'll get more answers, did they give an estimate on when you may get the MRI?

Gentle congrats to those that are new here with positives. I mean this with upmost kindness for the thread residents; the group is for those in their journey TTC after MC, so a quick pop in here with a positive test reveal after MC can be hard to digest after months and months of us here trying. There is a really lovely group called 'pregnancy after loss thread....'
This is a safe space to go through our journies and there will inevitably be positives when we're all still in the process of trying, it's just not a pregnancy announcement thread 💛
Baby dust to all ✨

Mannymoomin · 13/02/2023 17:36

@MrsC2018 how absolutely and utterly confusing for you, it’s really good that they aren’t sure though I suppose, instead of it being definite.
it’s probably just too early for a heartbeat, I’ll be praying that they were wrong yesterday and you get good news from your mri.
Its awful that you’ve spent yesterday thinking you’ll need a medical termination 😞 sending more 💐 and really hoping you’re not left waiting for answers for too long xx

SMG1992 · 13/02/2023 17:47

@MrsC2018 i hope you find out answers soon and wishing you all the best that they are good news 🤞🏼
As you say, for now you are pregnant and there is hope
@FfoxRedN totally understand your message, I’m still ttc post MC and seeing peoples bfps gives me hope that it is possible but it can be triggering .thank you for pointing me in the direction of the other thread as I’ll be following that one as well for when I’m looking for some positive stories x

LMM91x · 13/02/2023 18:06

@FfoxRedN i’m not sure if this is aimed at me and apologies if i’ve upset anyone but I have been chatting on here for the last few weeks. Apologies if i’ve upset anyone but I had been talking to a few of you on here and in the previous thread.

ttcttc · 13/02/2023 18:08

@FfoxRedN apologies if this is aimed at me too. I thought it was a thread about trying to conceive after miscarriage like the title said. I thought it was relevant to me as I'm in that position. I thought it would bring others trying to conceive hope after their own mc. I was happy for lots of people that were lucky enough to conceive after my miscarriage so assumed that's what the thread was about. I apologise x

LMM91x · 13/02/2023 18:09

@FfoxRedN sorry that posted too soon but noted re other thread and will head off there xx

@Bubblemachiene yes its a lube but i’ve always found I didnt produce much EWCM so I think it’s helped the little buggers journey 🤷🏻‍♀️

sending baby dust to all x

Bubblemachiene · 13/02/2023 18:31

Ohh ok, makes sense
Thanks 😊 @LMM91x

TheBirdintheCave · 13/02/2023 18:55

@ttcttc It is about the journey of trying to conceive after miscarriage. As far as I'm aware, please correct me if I'm wrong, you arrived here at the end of that journey as your first post in the group was pictures of your positive tests 🤷🏻‍♀️

Unfortunately, to people like me at least, it doesn't always read as hope when the first thing someone does is post a positive test, in fact, quite often, it's a bit of a punch to the guts.

You've effectively come into a room full of people who are trying desperately to win the lottery and waved your winning ticket in our faces.

Does that make sense? I've just never understood why someone would want to do that. Surely joining a 'pregnancy after miscarriage' thread would be more supportive as everyone there will be in the same boat 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes it makes sense but I've been reading posts like this for months. I don't understand why someone wouldn't want the hope that it's possible. I know what a punch in the stomach feels like.. we've all been there and it's shit. I didn't mean to upset anyone I just didn't realise that it was only for people who had commented earlier.

Ttcpph · 13/02/2023 19:10

@MrsC2018 I can't imagine the emotions you must be feeling right now. What a rollercoaster. There is still hope for your little bean yet. Crossing everything that it goes as well as it can for you and you have a baby in 9 months time 💕

2magpie · 13/02/2023 19:24

Well I've kept an eye on this thread for a few weeks now. 1st mmc was last May, second mmc was mid Jan. Tests are finally fading and I'm feeling ready to start trying again. But I'm so scared. The thought of going through it all again is so scary. How do you keep positive? I really hope everyone here gets their positive soon. Xx
