@Babydustmamma its so hard to stay away from the ov sticks isn’t it 😆
I am CD7 and meant to start OPK’s this morning but started work early and completely forgot 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’ve got the clearblue ones and says use first thing in morning but you reckon it will be ok if I do one tonight? 🤔 I think first one is always blank circle anyway isn’t it…

ChloeN · 06/12/2022 09:36

@mummatara has it arrived this morning🤞🏻 I still feel soo anxious about it all I try and forget as much as poss but I do struggle 😑 don’t think that’ll ever go away!

HoneyPea · 06/12/2022 09:59

Hi ladies, joining back in again after a missed miscarriage 😢 So far this year I've given birth to our baby girl at 18weeks in Feb, had a chemical in July and a Missed Miscarriage in Oct.
It's sad to see so many familiar names.

Have any of you heard of hyper fertility or unfussy womb? I've been looking and have a feeling this could be me as in each of my 4 pregnancies I have caught in the first or second month.

MrsC2018 · 06/12/2022 12:55

@Babydustmamma I understand, the process breaks you after a while doesn't it. I'm pretty numb to both the prospect of pregnancy and miscarriage atm, hopefully will stay here for a while.
@ChloeN that's got to be good - my nipples are the worst pregnant 🫣
@emhope what day do you normally ovulate? I don't normally start OPKs until 11/12 as ovulate 15/16 onwards so starting tomorrow should be fine depending on how long you think you have?
@HoneyPea did you find a reason for your 18 week loss? Don't know about hyper fertility but I've had 3 losses this year and that's not been mentioned to me so far

Babydustmamma · 06/12/2022 13:00

@emhope yeah it should be fine! Think they say the morning so that you’ve not had anything to drink beforehand and your wee is concentrated - not 100% but I think it’s that 😂 when I’m around the peak I usually do two a day, as my peak always comes in the afternoon!

@MrsC2018 couldnt have said it better myself ♥️ feel the same way. I’m due on my peak ov in the coming days and I’m not even excited like usual 😂

@HoneyPea so sorry to hear about your losses lovely. Haven’t heard of the fertility thing, but does sound interesting!

ChloeN · 06/12/2022 13:04

@HoneyPea ive heard of it, think I mentioned it to @mummatara on one of these threads before! I’ve definitely read about it on here on the pregnancy loss forums too xx

InvisibleDreamer · 06/12/2022 16:13

Hi,

Just started watching this thread. TTC via IVF after loss and recent surgery for endo.

@HoneyPea I’ve heard it mentioned on forums. Not sure if there is any research behind it or if it’s just a theory. The only way round it would be to do IVF and genetically test the embryos. It’s not a guarantee by any means but it can rule out chromosome problems. Have you had any of your losses tested?

lizziecat1 · 06/12/2022 17:38

@emhope I don't think you can do the first clearblue in the afternoon (if its the 4 day one you have) Pretty sure I read somewhere in the depths of the CB website that you are likely to get a false 'high' reading the next time you use them.
If its the 2 day ones, it should be fine.

mummatara · 06/12/2022 17:50

@ChloeN AF is a no show 🙄 yea I don't think that anxiety ever goes you just have to take it one day at a time with good days and crap days ❤️

@HoneyPea I have heard of it as @ChloeN said we've discussed it briefly but that's about it. I don't know how they would even diagnose it or be able to do anything about it I haven't researched it that much other than your womb basically will implant any baby so good and bad. People that had been told they had it had multiple MC as in double figures

FfayeN · 06/12/2022 17:52

@HoneyPea I remember your name I'm so sorry to see you back here again 😔. I have heard of the condition, though I don't think there is any test for it, have you had any testing to establish the cause of your losses?

@InvisibleDreamer I recognise your tag aswell, have you been on this thread before? Saying that I've lurked on most of the threads. Which IVF clinic are you with? Have you had any idea why you've had previous losses?

Sorry you're both here but if there's a supportive thread out there for TTC after loss it's this one. Hopefully you're both not here long 😘 xxx

InvisibleDreamer · 06/12/2022 18:14

@FfayeN yes I recognise your name don’t think I’ve been on here before but am on a couple of other threads. I’ve been lurking about for ages as it’s been a long journey. I don’t know why I had mmc as we didn’t PGS test on our first round and didn’t have any tests done after. I was told it’s 50/50 as to whether it was genetic or an immune issue due to my medical history. Hoping to so
some transfers early next year. We are with create Birmingham.

FfayeN · 06/12/2022 18:17

@InvisibleDreamer were you on the pred thread? So sorry for your loss 😔. Are you going for PGS testing for your next transfer? It's something I am debating with, trying again naturally or heading for IVF. I truly wish you success for the new year xxx

@lizziecat1 its the advanced one with flashing and static smileys. I have a 26-28 day cycle so says to use from CD7 (which is today) think I’ll just do one tonight and then see what happens! I guess the most important bit is the static face and that usually won’t be until day 11/12 anyway.

Well after seeing the comments on here and debating it for a few months I am now the proud owner of a ferti-lily 😆 Onto cycle 9 now so willing to try anything at this stage!

ChickenT2b · 06/12/2022 20:08

Hello ladies,
I feel like I have missed a lot these past couple of weeks.
I said I was going to ‘relax’ this cycle as everyone tells us to do… which for me means no bbt, no opks, no tracking, scrolling insta BFPs etc. Also meant taking a break from this thread as I think it all adds to the pressure.

Anyway I am back here now as I approach ovulation window. Feeling a bit down as I am expecting AF on Xmas Day if no BFP this time!! Yay…

@FfayeN I am so so sorry to read of your loss. I’m heartbroken for you. I haven’t managed to catch up with every message as I’m too far behind. Do you know if IVF is an option for you? As in, do doctors believe it would help? I really hope 2023 is your year.

From my side, I will receive ultrasound results on Friday. I have a cyst which I wanted checking out plus whatever else they can see on a scan. Uterine lining was 6mm which I think is ok for CD8. Text message from GP to book a tel appointment to discuss results…. Hmm nervous. Going to ask to be referred to a fertility clinic depending on results. Hubby to be has his initial GP app this week to ask for semen analysis.

How are you all doing this cycle? @Bubblesandballoons thanks for trying to tag me. @Everythingzrosie @Babydustmamma @ChloeN am I right in thinking you all said you were joining me being more ‘chilled’ this cycle? Sorry if I forgot someone!

xxx

ChickenT2b · 06/12/2022 20:11

@bunnykins123 hope you are getting on ok too. Missed tagging you in my previous message x

HoneyPea · 06/12/2022 20:13

Thanks all,

@MrsC2018, @InvisibleDreamer and @FfayeN (I recognise your name too) Baby girl that I gave birth to in Feb was actually a Termination for medical reasons as she was extremely poorly. Chromosome abnormalities, bad heart problems, cystic hygroma and more. They said there was only a small percentage of a chance she would make it past 24weeks and if she did and was to be born she would be in lots of pain and suffering. This and getting pregnant very easily (plus 2more losses this year) are what makes me think of the hyper fertility/unfussy womb. @mummatara I don't know how they would diagnose either. All I know is I have TTC 4 times and each time it has happened in the first or second month. My first time 3 years ago ended in my DS and then the other 3 (all this year) in losses. Maybe my age (35) is playing a part now I really don't know.
EPU have told me to contact my doctor who may or may not refer me to the recurrent loss clinic. Has anyone been referred and had any answers?

FfayeN · 06/12/2022 20:49

@ChickenT2b hi lovely, do you feel better for taking a break? Good luck for this fertile window 🙏🏼. Thanks for your message, I think IVF is an option, but would be privately funded as DH already has children. I think my AMH is on the low side and DH spermies are aren't great so if it's a route we take I'll need to be careful on the clinic. In the meantime we are waiting for genetic testing on this loss and some more investigations with Tommys. Good luck with your appointments and subsequent results, it feels good to just have things in place to get some answers I bet ☺️.

@HoneyPea I'm so so sorry to hear of your TFMR I can't imagine the heartache that brings, bless you 😔. I have been referred to the RMU after my 3rd loss. They should do that for you with no questions asked as that's the national guidelines (some after 2 losses) but I did have to wait about 10 weeks for an appointment. They did all testing on the NHS which included: thyroid profile (I already have hashimotos), genetic profile of me and DH in case of any hereditary chromosome issues, anti phospholipid syndrome, lupus anticoagulant, anti nuclear antibodies, ELISA (??). All those were normal. They also sent the foetus off which came back as trisomy 15. (They have also for the latest one but still about 8 weeks for the results of that one).
I feel the issue is either my eggs (I'm almost 37) or immunity issues so we have a consultation with Prof Brosens for an endometrial receptivity biopsy. He works for the NHS but you pay a supplemented fee for the tests he does. Any questions ask away 😘 xx

@Everythingzrosie that's a great peak 🥰 xx

Everythingzrosie · 06/12/2022 21:12

@FfayeN thank you, I felt it too. Lots of ewcm so feels like I’m back to my pre MMC cycles. Cd 16. I thought I was past it all but seems my body is still ok 👍🏻

FfayeN · 06/12/2022 21:15

@Everythingzrosie that's so reassuring, have you been DTD or just waiting this month to see how your body is doing? (Sorry I should know I've just totally lost track 🙈) xx

OP posts:
Everythingzrosie · 06/12/2022 21:18

@FfayeN well- I’m all over the place, one minute I want a baby and the next I’m done with all the losses and pain. So we pulled out the day before I got that positive. Tonight is the last day of being fertile and dh has said he is happy to try. I’m not 100% sure and so scared of a bfp. For it to be taken. 6 losses over the years have mentally changed me.

MrsCristianoX · 06/12/2022 21:20

@Everythingzrosie I want that peak! CD15 and nada. I did skip a day though but v unlikely I have super long surges

FfayeN · 06/12/2022 21:21

@Everythingzrosie I can see why you're apprehensive. Only you know deep down if you can try again, it's so hard to know how you'll deal with the next one if it's bad news, but the elation of it was one that stuck would be overwhelming too ☺️. It's wonderful he's supportive. Perhaps take the pressure off this month and give yourself the three weeks to evaluate, rather than tonight being make or break. It all takes its toll so be kind to yourself. xxx

OP posts:
FfayeN · 06/12/2022 21:25

@MrsCristianoX is tonight a DTD night? Your surge will be on its way! 🙌🏻
