Sent too early! These comments 😂 I boiled my fertilily yesterday so it’s ready for fertile window tomorrow but maybe I need to practice before 😆 I did wonder how you are meant to get it all the way up to cervix…surely that’s quite high after DTD?! lol

Babydustmamma · 08/12/2022 07:33

@emhope what is a fertilily?! This has tickled me reading all the comments ♥️

MrsCristianoX · 08/12/2022 07:37

@emhope omg practice! I'm like 'how tricky can it be'? Very 😂

LuckyMoonstone · 08/12/2022 08:52

@emhope when I read you boiled your fertililly I thought you were really mad at it for not working or something, then I realised no that’s to clean it 😂

FfayeN · 08/12/2022 09:13

@InvisibleDreamer what clinic are you under at the moment? Just your IVF clinic? It's so hard to know what to do, but good if they'll implement any protocol the testing suggests. I have discounted argc and CRP at the moment due to the ongoing costs but I fear we may end up that way next year.

@emhope just use the first few DTD attempts to practice, it's not really that tricky, more fiddly I guess xx

ChloeN · 08/12/2022 11:06

@emhope that was my thought exactly lol I don’t know how other people managed to reach their cervix🤣 after I did it the first time it did get easier at least 🙌

mummatara · 08/12/2022 12:11

If times get desperate I'll try the fertilily but I really don't think i would even find my cervix 😂 need go go gadget fingers 😂

Mannymoomin · 08/12/2022 13:47

just to update everyone, and to write it all down.

I finally got my AF almost 6 weeks after MC, it was incredibly light for me, and dare I say it, I’m glad to see the tests have finally gone negative.

I’m on day 10 on my first cycle and got a static smiley on CB OPK yesterday which is around 4 days earlier than normal for me. And for the first time in my life I’ve had what I can only assume is ovulation bleeding, very light pink EWCM 🤷‍♀️
We dtd CD 6 and again today CD10, OPK was pos CD 9 so I hope them two times have me covered, I’ve not had a very long window this cycle and Oing early, so I guess I’m now in my tww and I’m counting today as O day, I don’t temp so just have to go by cm changes.

The cycle which I caught with the MC I didn’t actually think I was pregnant as I thought I just had a weird period, lots of brown stringy blood that lasted a week, so if I see anything like that again I won’t just assume it’s AF

fingers crossed for everyone in their tww, I hope we all catch sticky eggs

ChloeN · 08/12/2022 13:51

@mummatara i didn’t get pregnant the times I used it so probably wouldn’t use again, but I doubt it can do any harm!

MrsCristianoX · 08/12/2022 14:01

@ChloeN yea I dunno. I imagine if used properly it might help but I've been pregnant 6 times and we never used it when ttc so I don't think catching is my issue. Im imaging age more than anything for me..anyways I pulled it out after 5 mins and hopefully some swimmers stayed put🙈🤦‍♀️ 🙏

mummatara · 08/12/2022 14:03

@ChloeN I can't feel my cervix half the time anyway need longer fingers 🤣 how you feeling today? How many weeks now?

@Mannymoomin that's excellent keeping everything crossed for your TWW 🤞🏼

ChloeN · 08/12/2022 14:27

@MrsCristianoX thats what I thought but I gave it a try anyway cause why not 🤣 better than nothing 😂

@mummatara no ive never really been able to find it I don’t know what I’m feeling for up there 🤣 I think I felt it hard once or twice and that’s it 🤦🏻‍♀️ 6 weeks today! I was sick for the first time this morning but I haven’t felt too bad since

mummatara · 08/12/2022 14:37

@ChloeN is it bad to say that's excellent news at being sick 🤔 wow can't believe 6 weeks 💪🏼 did you decide on an early scan yet or still debating it? Xxx

ChloeN · 08/12/2022 15:46

@mummatara I know I was really quite pleased🤣 I found a fab place who said they’d book me an extra long slot so no one was in the waiting room before and after🙌 we wanted to go on the 31st but it’s a male sonographer that day which I’m not massively keen on, so I think we might wait till the weekend after, I’ll be 10 weeks then! I just can’t go before Christmas just in case🫣xx

mummatara · 08/12/2022 16:15

@ChloeN ahhh yes that's good and a nice point to go ❤️ def enjoy Christmas first!

Anyone remember what CD you ovulated after MC if at all? BBT said I ovulated on CD27 so I'm mainly being a nosey Parker whilst I wait to see if AF is going to say hi or not 😂

Babydustmamma · 08/12/2022 17:30

@mummatara mine was CD 27 after mc too x

Rosegold3112 · 08/12/2022 23:07

Thank you for your kind messages. Hope your journeys are going well.

I have a question about ewcm. Did anyone get some in abundance after your miscarriages? Literally 2 weeks today was when I delivered and today after going to the toilet I had a large amount of what appeared to be ewcm. Sorry for the tmi, but it was literally hanging off the toilet roll and was about 6inches in length, just bouncing up and down. I took a video for DP I was so fascinated 😂 we dtd last night as bleeding had officially stopped but I did the water test and immediately in water in went into 2 little balls and just bobbed around, so pretty sure its not leftovers.
I've been doing sporadic opk's in these 2 weeks. I just want some control I think and I want to start ttc ASAP. I know it's a bit mad and of course I've not had a positive but I felt a bit hopeful when weds morning I got an actual visible line. The thing about me and opk's is I rarely get positives. I conceived in August and I kept all my opk's in a little diary and never even got a high let alone a peak but I can still pinpoint when I would have conceived as I got darker tests. They logged about 0.6 on my premom app and from memory I never got a positive the month I conceived dd either. I know this test wasn't my peak even by my standards but bow I'm thinking it might be possible I missed it? I did do an opk Monday 2 days before and it was stark white. I also had some period like cramps today and yesterday which I know could be part of the miscarriage still but I find it bizarre when I haven't cramped at all up until now.
Does anyone think I could actually be ovulating or is my body and mind all a bit muddled up and just doing what it needs to do completely unrelated to ovulation?

ChickenT2b · 09/12/2022 13:19

Ugh ladies…
I just found out that the cyst on my ovary is suggestive of an endometrioma. I also have fluid in my pelvis which can suggest endometriosis…

I knew there was something..

Next step is a gynaecology appointment to assess what to do next and impact on fertility. Depending on that, GP will decide whether I need a fertility referral.

Google does not read well 😞 “Endometriomas may be considered the most serious threat to a woman's reproductive potential, with the exception of cancerous tumors of the reproductive tract.”

Anyone have experience of this? Xx

InvisibleDreamer · 10/12/2022 00:12

@ChickenT2b It would depend what stage the endometriosis is at. It can damage tubes and ovaries but by that point you would usually have quite severe symptoms. Unfortunately the only way to diagnose 100% is to have an operation and have anything they find removed. I had this in October and it was fine although I found recovery a bit rough for the first few days afterwards but that is most likely because of my other medical conditions. It can affect fertility but also many people still get pregnant anyway and I’ve been told getting pregnant is one of the best treatments for it. I think unfortunately the link between endometriosis and fertility isn’t well understood. Having it removed may make you more fertile but it hasn’t worked for me yet. 🤷‍♀️

InvisibleDreamer · 10/12/2022 00:25

@FfayeN Im with create Birmingham but I’ve just booked a consult with Dr Gorgy for next week as I’m getting confused over what immune testing to do. I’m also going to see a private rheumatologist to try and work out once and for all of I do have an autoimmune condition. Wondering if am ever going to get to transfer!

FfayeN · 10/12/2022 09:36

@Rosegold3112 @ChickenT2b I'm sorry I don't have experience with either of those things. Thinking of you though xx

@InvisibleDreamer I see, it's really tricky isn't it, and we then just end up super impatient for the next steps. Hopefully the consultation with Dr Gorgy and the rheumatologist gives you some better direction 🙏🏼 xx

ChickenT2b · 10/12/2022 09:47

@InvisibleDreamer thanks for sharing. Did you have anything on your ovaries at all? I think that’s my biggest concern as it says just them being there diminishes egg quality.
Did they discuss IVF at all?
And how long was the wait for surgery?

Thanks xx

InvisibleDreamer · 10/12/2022 21:35

@ChickenT2b I just had one spot on one ovary so I was lucky there was no damage. We are already doing IVF. I don’t think they would necessarily recommend IVF for you on the basis of endometriosis on it own. I didn’t have to wait long for surgery as I went private I’ve no idea what the wait times are like on the nhs.

Hi just a bit curious has anyone ever gotten pregnant so soon after a loss? I got a negative test yesterday morning and then I tested again last night and it was such a clear positive. I 24 days since my miscarriage began but almost instantly my symptoms had went away from the loss but all of a sudden again I am having back pain, had very light pink spotting for 2 days only when I was wiping after the toilet and I'm also using the toiletore frequently again after that symptom going away Aswell.
