@FfayeN what is seed cycling 🤔 I've never heard of that before and I thought I was pretty clued up on all things fertility related 😂

mummatara · 29/11/2022 12:13

Hey ladies just marking my place nothing to report my end just waiting to see if AF will make an appearance anytime soon 🤞🏼

LuckyMoonstone · 29/11/2022 12:19

@Babydustmamma like day 30! It’s crazy. But I don’t think doctors are bothered because the fact is I am ovulating, even though it takes so long. Personally that makes me worry about the egg quality but maybe it’s fine.

Babydustmamma · 29/11/2022 12:25

@LuckyMoonstone the doctors said the same thing to me about the changes in LP and delayed Ov - they just said ‘well it sounds like you’re ovulating so there is no issue’. I mean the body is an amazing thing so maybe they actually just don’t know - but it’s hard not to read into it isn’t it!

Hi ladies I hope use don't mind I have been wrecking my brains the last 10 days. I suffered a miscarriage last Thursday 17th November with heavy bleeding to begin with at 11am and confirmed miscarriage that afternoon, my bleeding then stopped Thursday night 10pm and didnt return until Monday 21st November heavy bleed again and then again stopped. Only started to bleed again on Sunday 27th November after myself and partner DTD on Saturday night and still going today but it is very very light spotting. Done a HPT and is still a BFP although last Monday my hcg levels were 7375 and Wednesday my hcg levels dropped to 4000 (3days dropped 3375) so I would have thought they would have significantly have dropped by this morning. Does anyone have any idea how long it took their bodies to return to normal again for them to start ovulate/new cycle. This was my first mc so I'm very new to this sort of stuff. Ok v attached my hpt from this morning I hope someone can help me out x

@Shannonmcc I had a miscarriage in Sept, hospital let it all happen naturally and told me to test 3 weeks after my final scan with them, also depends how far gone you were as to how long it takes. I had my first period 5 weeks after I stopped bleeding. Don't know whether I've ovulated yet as I don't track it.

Shannonmcc · 29/11/2022 13:40

Aw I should have stated my weeks sorry. I was 4weels and 5 days when I mc. I have another set of hcg bloods on Thursday morning so I'm praying they have went down alot more since last Wednesday. And I'm so sorry for your loss also. I got answers on Friday pasr to why I mc. Turned out my baby had implanted on my previous c section scar so I'm praying it will not It happen again if I get the chances to conceive again fingers crossed I do. DR said it was a caesarian scar ectopic pregnancy. Never heard of that happening to anyone before

mummatara · 29/11/2022 14:00

@Shannonmcc it took 6 weeks for me to get a negative test on my first MC and my second I thought that for sure it would go quicker because my hcg level was 1088 2 weeks before I even had the surgery but I'm now 4 weeks past surgery and my levels are dropping super slowly I had bloods done last week and they had dropped a total of 6 in 6 days. Unfortunately there's no logic to dropping hcg some bodies just hold onto it a bit longer than others do. Sorry for your loss xx

FfayeN · 29/11/2022 14:09

@bunnykins123 it's taking different seeds in your diet depending on what phase you are in your cycle. I had never heard of it but a friend recommended it. Apparently it assists your natural hormone levels...I added mine to smoothies/porridge/salad etc.
(Apparently your cycles can align to the moon as well but mine have always been the complete opposite 🤣).
I would attach a photo but Mumsnet won't let me select the right one, this site explains it pretty simply.

@Shannonmcc I think everyone is different. My last I had a proper bleed 5 weeks post MC surgical procedure. I was told to test 3 weeks after the procedure and by then the line was pretty faint. I would give it a week or so and hopefully it will have dropped off a little more. Sorry for your loss. Xxx

Wow this thread has whizzed along.

@mummatara sorry your hcg is taking is time to go down.

welcome to the newbies, sorry you are here 💛.

@Babydustmamma how’s things going? You managed to be more relaxed? I haven’t done an opk yet. Ewcm is here and I’m so tempted 😂. Can’t tag chickenT2b, guessing she hasn’t moved over to the new thread yet.

Babydustmamma · 29/11/2022 19:57

@Bubblesandballoons eaaak I’m about a week off I reckon! Stupid long periods since mc! When will you test? 😍

Bubblesandballoons · 29/11/2022 20:14

@Babydustmamma ah I went the other way and have shorter ones, only by two days thankfully. Not planning on testing at all… see how strong my will power is 😂

Babydustmamma · 29/11/2022 20:17

@Bubblesandballoons wowwww!!!! Go on gal, I’m impressed just at the idea of it! ♥️ I’m definitely considering just going with the flow and not testing this month but like you say it’s the will power!

Bubblesandballoons · 29/11/2022 21:16

@Babydustmamma i have a way to go yet, there is plenty of time for me to fail as I have frer’s in cupboard that will be tempting me later on in my cycle 😂. It does feel better not using opks though and not knowing if it’s peak day or not, so I can’t stress that our every other day is missing it.

MrsC2018 · 30/11/2022 07:52

Well test is completely negative this morning, was faint Sunday, darker Monday and Tuesday and now gone, think is chemical pregnancy? Never tested early before so not had this 🤯 don't feel too sad, just got to wait for the period now which is going to be epic as is the first one from the October miscarriage as well.

@Bubblesandballoons that's fab, just good old fashioned regular sex - I might do that and treat myself to the money I would have spent on OPKs. Think I might miss just peeing on sticks though, it's quite comforting to know you're doing something 😂

emhope · 30/11/2022 09:59

AF turned up as expected today so CD1 for me and onto cycle 9!! Actually a little glad after that awful evap/indent this month! Next period due 27th December and love the idea of getting a BFP on Christmas Day but surely that would be too good to actually happen!!

@Bubblesandballoons I was down to one OPK…and thought I would try another month without them but completely forgot I had clearblue on an Amazon subscription and hadn’t cancelled so they have automatically ordered again and getting delivered today…£21 as-well! 🤦🏻‍♀️

TheBirdintheCave · 30/11/2022 10:03

@MrsC2018 Sorry about your chemical :(

@emhope Sorry AF arrived but I really hope you get an amazing Christmas present :)

emhope · 30/11/2022 13:41

Sorry need a little rant…

OH picked up the sperm analysis form from GP’s yesterday and rang the hospital to book the appointment and given him the first available which is not until 18th January!!!
I’m so frustrated. I first spoke to the GP at the end of September and by the end of October I had had two lots of blood tests, scan appointment at hospital and and internal swab appointment with the nurse. Can’t fault them for my side of things but how can the wait for sperm analysis be so long. That will be nearly 4 months from starting this process to get tests done 😭I know he had a slight delay with problems with registration at the surgery but another 7 weeks?! anyone else’s OH had this test and had to wait this long?

Everythingzrosie · 30/11/2022 13:53

Just bookmarking x

Bubblesandballoons · 30/11/2022 14:12

@MrsC2018 oh I miss peeing on sticks, i feel like it’s almost become an addiction 😂. Definitely nice to save some pennies before Xmas though.
@emhope thats very organised to get it ordered monthly. Sorry af arrived, but fingers crossed you get the best Christmas present. On note of the nhs that’s great you have had all those tests done, I have had an awful time with them trying to get my tests done. Waited from March till sept for first appt after getting lost in the system despite regular calls from me to chase up. Had scan and bloods done 5 weeks ago and still not got a follow up booked for results! my dp has just got his forms and needs to book his appt will get him to do it soon if going to be that long!

Babydustmamma · 30/11/2022 16:46

@emhope ahh lovely, grim and frustrating to think that the info is just sat there ♥️

@MrsC2018 so sorry! Such a hard process when you’re naturally so emotionally invested.

anyone else struggling with the idea of Ttc over the festive period? This month was my hardest month since the mc in terms of dealing with the BFN. I’m really nervous about getting a BFN this month as we have a big family party to go to on what will be testing time 😭 I’d love it if I could go knowing that I was pregnant but am so worried I’ll be in a state knowing I’m not x

bunnykins123 · 30/11/2022 20:12

@emhope I'm sorry AF arrived 😢 unfortunately, anything NHS related seems to take a long time which is why women often go private. My RMC consultation took 6 months to come through and a further 2 months for results.

@MrsC2018 I'm so sorry about your chemical, they are so hard 😢

@Babydustmamma oh totally! Although my fertile period is imminent so I guess I can get that done and out of the way before Xmas festivities start. I feel like that every month so Xmas isn't going to be much different for me!

Maxime34 · 30/11/2022 20:23

Hi ladies, hoping I can join. I've had three early miscarriages this year the last one was in August and we've been taking a break to do some investigations. About to start TTC again and feeling much more positive than I was in the summer so fingers crossed 2023 will be much more hopeful. Sending you all lots of strength for the journeys you're on x

Cheetocat · 30/11/2022 22:03

Hiya @Maxime34 sorry about your losses, welcome in. I am 7dpo and going crazy, my boobs hurt and I can't stop peeing but I think it must be way too early to have real symptoms, don't know why I am even entertaining the idea that it means anything.
