Hey all

I thought it would be nice for us to have a thread to discuss symptom spotting, early symptoms and early test pictures (if you are someone who likes to test early)

I am currently 5 DPO, TTC Baby #1 with my amazing partner after a miscarriage back in March.

I'm going out for some drinks on Thursday and will be 8DPO - I obviously won't drink if there's any sign or symptom that I may have conceived so I'd like somewhere to discuss any potential symptoms and everyone else's experience.

Maybe try a frer tonight after a hold?

Squeezed out the smallest bit of wee to take a FRER and I think this is it! Though the line is quite thin so I’m not 100000%

I have another 2 FRER - typically I’m away tonight to do Christmas with extended family so will have to think of a good excuse as to why I’m not drinking 😖

I am hoping for a BFP in a few days time

decided to take a test this evening - it’s darker and I feel happy! I’m only 10DPO, so hoping it sticks. I bought an early digital to take in the morning, hopefully I’ll be able to see it in words 🥰 It hasn’t settled in yet! So wish it was a few days later so I could’ve surprised my DP for Christmas!

Late to this thread as I am about to start day 33 of my cycle and the latest AF has ever arrived is day 32, which has only happened once this year if I remember rightly. Had light pink smear when I wiped yesterday evening and nothing since. That would have been 12 (or 13) dpo. I am starting to think now could I be....DTD on day 15 of cycle. Eeek.

These tests are starting to upset me as I was certain I saw something yesterday. Today it's negative 😖

This was my 9am test. (6am test above)
But I'm having loads of problems with these tests... so I don't know what to believe 😞

@bubblebab how many dpo are you? Is your AF late?
I found out I ovulate later than the fertile window predictions so I expected a really clear result using the blue dye tests, but it was super faint. I was convinced it was positive but then started to doubt what I’d seen and wondered if it was an evap line. Did the same test today and similar result so I but the bullet and pulled out a clear blue digital which gave me a very clear yes or no

@BakedBean2016 no idea about ovulation. Af was due yesterday but my cycles aren't regular. I'm on cycle day 35- last few cycles were 33 and 34 days.

I tried a different brand and it said negative but it was the same wee that gave me a slight positive. So I'm really confused!

My November cycle was 30 days, it’s only ever been between 22 and 26 days but all the tests I took were negative, finally got my AF on day 31 and I admit I was relieved about.
This cycle I went beyond 25 days again but had 2 days of pink when wiping, after that nothing.
Took a blue dye test yesterday and swear it was a faint positive but I didn’t trust what I’d seen, this morning I did another blue dye and the result was the same very faint so I used a clear blue digital and finally got the result I’d been hoping for.
What I didn’t realise is that I ovulated later than my fertile window predictions but we were far more relaxed this cycle.
I just hope it’s successful all the way through as this will be our rainbow baby

@BakedBean2016 thank you for your lovely post and congratulations on finally getting the result you want. I did a test just (on day 33). I'm so confused now cos it was negative. My last cycle was a mere 26 days but usually it is between 27-31 days. So I am at a loss now. It was a Boots fairly cheap test. Must admit I'm feeling slightly upset now, I don't think I've ever been this late before, hope I've actually ovulated and not missed a period, that would be even worse.

Has anyone tested negative a day or two after missed period only to test positive later on?

Your support for each other is amazing. Here’s hoping I can join in 🤞🏼 4/5dpo ttc#1 on my 4th cycle. DTD three days up to positive opk and day after.
How do I stop myself from testing so early?! This TWW is killing me - I just feel so hopeful

I'm about 6DPO here and having pretty strong cramps on my right hand side that I don't usually get at this time.

Probably just symptom spotting (which is essentially a second full time job at this point!) but wondered if this is something anyone else has experienced first hand at around this many DPO?

If I had implantation bleeding on the evening of 27th is it too early to test today? 😭 Even though my period is now late? I think I ovulated late this month.

Hi 👋 I’m an early tester and tested 4 days early and got a faint line but not sure if it’s a Evap as other tests are showing negative
what do you think 🤔

@monsteramunch thanks for the welcome! Here for you during your TWW and praying for good news for us both this New Year! When do you plan on testing?

@Ineedtosleep79 do whatever will make you feel better. Sometimes testing, regardless of knowing that’s it’s too early and you’ll get a BFN, can help mentally. How many DPO are you?

If you’ve done lots of other tests of the same brand and they’re all negative then I would say test again in a couple of days.

Hi all, can I join? Currently 8dpo
ttc #4 we’ve been trying on and off for almost 2 years now.

We’ve never struggled conceiving in the past, but unfortunately we’ve had 7 miscarriages and two little babies who weren’t for this world so every time we TTC has been so nerve wracking whether baby will stick, but now we can’t seem to catch at all! Not even had a stand on your head, one eye open whilst squinting line in the past year!

I've had a bit of bleeding since yesterday - my test lines are progressing well so I'm trying not to worry (but that's easier said than done!) but I'm just keeping an eye on myself x
