Hey all

I thought it would be nice for us to have a thread to discuss symptom spotting, early symptoms and early test pictures (if you are someone who likes to test early)

I am currently 5 DPO, TTC Baby #1 with my amazing partner after a miscarriage back in March.

I'm going out for some drinks on Thursday and will be 8DPO - I obviously won't drink if there's any sign or symptom that I may have conceived so I'd like somewhere to discuss any potential symptoms and everyone else's experience.

I'm just coming to the end of my period before we start ttc baby number 2. We've waited slightly longer than had planned due to personal reasons but now I'm worried in case it takes a while to conceive number 2. I've been tracking bbt and ovulation the past few months but my cycles vary in length from 28 to 35 days. Just hoping we don't miss ovulation or stop doing the deed too early in the month etc.

@Wonkyjelly welcome!! I have used Flo for years and always found it really accurate with ovulation date etc (I can tell from ovulation cramps and symptoms I get which match bang on with Flo). I hope this is your cycle and we see a BFP from you soon - fingers crossed! xx

If I'm not pregnant this month then I am officially going cuckoo - mega mood swings, headaches and the sorest boobs known to man! 🙈 I'm also so tired all the time. Think I'm approx 9dpo roughly - AF due Thursday.
I took a superdrug Early detection test on a whim this PM which was a bfn. Have a FRER ready for tomorrow morning, so 🤞🙈
The not knowing is the worst isn't it!?

I did a FRER this morning with FMU and I'm pretty sure it's a BFN... I keep thinking that I can see a very slight shadow, but if I'm being honest with myself I'm probably just seeing what I want to see 🙈 pic below

@peaky297 ahhh youre 10dpo? Same here! Its still early, you could be implanting still. Let us know if you test again tomorrow? Xx

If I zoom in on the first photo I feel like there’s a shadow. But I’m very much like you and sometimes see something I want to. Still early for you, fingers crossed 🤗✨

Thanks for confirming the shadow - so faint though. If there is anything it could be an evap 🙈 arghh it's killer isn't it!

Ooh I’m 10 Dpo today too and bfn 😞 Was so gutted. I’ve been feeling so tired these last couple of days. Thought it was just the toll of recent late nights, but I had a good nights sleep last night and still tired today.

I’m sure I’m out as with my first I had a positive test at 9 dpo.

@peaky297 and @NatGee will you be testing tomorrow too?

@peaky297 yeah let's! ive been ttc for 8 months now and my bbt pattern has been different this cycle so I thought I was in with a chance. I have slightly sore boobs which I dont normally get but apart from that, no other symptoms. From your symptoms however Id also be very surprised if you hadn't fallen, i think you should give it another go tomorrow :D

@BeaKind each pregnancy is so different, until AF arrives youre not out. i will probably wait until im 12dpo, AF will be very close by then so ill know either way. do you have symptoms apart from tiredness?

Yes I will test again tomorrow, but if negative will be waiting for AF to be late. I'll let you know how it goes!

@NatGee not really any other symptoms. Tbh my cycles are still a bit all over the place (I have pcos) so I think I ovulated as I had a really positive opk and temp has increased but had no cm so who really knows 🤷‍♀️

Well, i couldnt resist and poas this arvo... ugh, waste of tests really, disnt show anything other than a BFN. Roll on tomorrow, im sure ill be back on it again 😄

How are you all? Any tests done this morning?
I did another FRER this morning which is a BFN... again, I keep thinking I can see a shadow but given that was the case yesterday too it's probably in my head 🙈 I know its not game over til AF shows, but I am feeling less confident. I still have super sore boobs and fatigue though and today my skin has gone spotty, which never usually happens to me 🤷‍♀️

I tested today too 10dpo and my FRER was the same although I’ve also convinced myself there’s the faintest of faint shadows!! I’m 99% I’ve imagined it but will test again in 2 days.

Hello ladies I resisted the urge to test, 11 dpo today. My breasts aren't as tender and my BBT+heart rate, though high, have dropped so I am not hopeful this is our month. Roll on cycle #9!

Hi everyone! Sorry to those who haven't yet had BFPs but the biggest thing to remember is you're not out until AF arrives.

I'm having a bit of a nightmare, can't for the life of me get through to my doctors to tell them I'm pregnant, but really want to speak with them early on seeing as I miscarried in March.

I'm having really bad cramps (at the loo every 30 seconds to see if I've started bleeding!) and today every pregnancy symptom has completely disappeared - no sickness, no nausea, no groggy horrible tiredness and my nipples aren't even sensitive anymore.

So not sure what's happening. 😞

@ElleBelleLou oh no! I can imagine not getting through to them is adding to your anxiety. Honestly seems like all the gps are like this at the moment. It’s so bad that they don’t answer the phone! Can you self refer to your local midwifery team? I’m sure that’s what I had to do when I had my boy and they were so much nicer than my gp. I’m sure everything is absolutely fine though. X

I’m also staring at a blank test convinced if I hold it in the right light, stand on my head and close one eye I can see a shadow 🤣

Told my fiancé today that I think it’s best that we wait a few months before trying again for baby#2.
So won’t be on the chat anymore

Myself and baby#1 are suffering from covid VERY badly and I know it’s the best choice not to TTC right now as my body is so run down and im struggling as can’t even eat.
And I don’t want to risk the health of a unborn baby with a history of miscarriages

I’m obviously upset as I was so excited to start trying but partner said not to get upset as it’s the best decision…

But I hope everyone gets their BFPs soon 🤞🏻💕good luck ladies

I'm now finished my period and going to start baby dancing this week although realistically I think I'm about 9/10 days away from ovulation. Hoping ovulation sticks and bbt match when the time comes 🤞🏻

Morning, didn’t want to read and run. Can I just say don’t get one step from Amazon. Been confused all month why I have had faint second line but no surge and went back on Amazon to read the reviews. Click 1 star and all the recent reviews are saying how awful they are and to get a high street one. I think I’ve already ovulated due to discharge change and pain on one side of ovary, which isn’t the end of the world as I’ve been very active in the bedroom with my husband 🫣😅 but to save anyone confusion or upset I thought I’d mention the above about one step x
