@MrsC2018 ring your EPU and tell them your 5 weeks post mc you did have a neg test at the hospital but you've just done a very sensitive test and got a positive so your not sure what's going on. they will likely get you in for bloods you will get a more definitive answer than keep taking pregnancy tests trust me I've been there this past week 🤦🏼‍♀️ also to keep buying frers when your not sure cost so much money 🙈 I hope it's a new one for you 🤞🏼

ChloeN · 27/11/2022 19:39

@mummatara whats been going on with yours lovely?xx

mummatara · 27/11/2022 19:42

@ChloeN had another test last night and it's still at 84 so had not dropped at all since Thursday 🙄 they told me to test again in 2 weeks I think a new pregnancy is ruled out for sure. I'm hoping AF might make an appearance in the next week or so 🤞🏼 xx

ChloeN · 27/11/2022 19:46

@mummatara what on earth, so just not dropping whatsoever??🤯 how bloody annoying, hopefully as you say AF will arrive and then it’ll go negative

TrulyMiss · 27/11/2022 19:48

@MrsC2018 @ChloeN Yes it's all a lot. At the same time though if we're going to try again I'd rather do it sooner than later - the gap is getting bigger all the time and I feel like it's just there looming over me in the background. My husband thinks he'd be happy with the existing one or with two but also points out that if we both feel that way maybe sticking with what we have spud be less physically and emotionally gruelling. I do think it would be easier if we could just try like normal people. The whole fertility drugs complication makes it worse and also then there's zero chance of remaining remotely sane while trying 😂

Babydustmamma · 27/11/2022 20:00

@mummatara that must be so bloody demoralising! Especially with everything you’ve been through recently ♥️

has anyone taken vitex? This is my first
month of trying it ♥️

mummatara · 27/11/2022 20:13

@ChloeN nope not a single shift I was like oh you've got the wrong result that was Thursdays and she said oh no it's the same as Thursdays 🙄 yes I'm really hoping so 🤞🏼 in the meantime I just have to distract myself with everything Christmas 😂 xx

@Babydustmamma it was a little bit indeed I'm trying not to get hung up on it it has only been 3.5 weeks since surgery so I know from previous I just have to be patient and it takes time as frustrating as it is waiting. I did think this time it would be different as it was fairly low by the time I had the surgery but apparently not 🤦🏼‍♀️ I've not heard of it is it a vitamin?

Babydustmamma · 27/11/2022 20:16

@mummatara well done lovely, that’s a great way of looking at it. Feels like there is soooo much waiting and being patient when you’re ttc after loss doesn’t it?

sometimes it’s called chasteberry I think? Might’ve spelt that wrong! Haha. I was reading (down a rabbit hole) that it helps with short luteal phase/low progesterone ♥️ Just wondered if anyone had had any luck with it! Xxx

MrsC2018 · 27/11/2022 20:36

@mummatara that's a good idea. Hate the GAU though, feel like time goes backwards when I walk in that ward. Will see what the test looks like tomorrow and see if I can work up the courage to call them. I've gone under the specialist nurse, but she's on leave this week rather annoyingly. Have they given any indication why the level is static and what that might mean? 4 days is a long time to stay as well, surely?
@ChloeN have 4 FRERs so will do 1 a day with FMU and if there's no progression after 2 days then I know it's old hgc. It's very faint but clear to the naked eye so will either stay or get more, just got to keep myself busy, which is pretty easy - work full time and have a toddler. I'll blink and it's Wednesday!
@TrulyMiss pregnancy and babies are a tough commitment, if you're not sure then maybe see how you feel with each period? Just agree with yourself not this month until you decide yes next month. Feels like a big thing to say a big no to another but if you're just saying no to this month until you are ready it might feel better? I ALWAYS want another baby so never really had to decide myself!
@Babydustmamma I've not and not heard of it. But if you're thinking of supplements, the Zita west range are pricy but have good reviews. Also if you've not already and would be interested, read "it starts with the egg"

LuckyMoonstone · 27/11/2022 22:46

I am on CD 2 now so back to TTC this month :) got my period 10 dpo which isn’t great, I’m going to bring it up again at my next docs appointment in a couple of weeks.

TheBirdintheCave · 27/11/2022 22:51

@LuckyMoonstone Welcome back :D

mummatara · 28/11/2022 08:31

@MrsC2018 let us know how you get on this morning with testing

@LuckyMoonstone welcome back lovely 💕 I hope they listen to you this time I'm sure you said before they were a bit dismissive when you mentioned short LP 🤔 hope I've remembered that right 😅

ChloeN · 28/11/2022 09:05

@MrsC2018 thats good I’m glad your busy so you’re not sat obsessing over it like I definitely would be🤦🏻‍♀️

@LuckyMoonstone hey lovely, hope you’re okay💕

FfayeN · 28/11/2022 09:26

@LuckyMoonstone welcome back hun. Are you feeling any better on the thyroxine? It does take a little while to settle the cycles but definitely keep mentioning it 😘 xx

OP posts:
MrsC2018 · 28/11/2022 09:36

Yeah, so I'm obsessing. Very busy so could do without this, but think there's a difference between yesterday and todays tests. Can't believe that I'm sat staring at tests, I know full well that knowing today whether I'm pregnant or not will not change the outcome. But I'm daydreaming about an August baby. You'd think by now I'd have a bit more self preservation 🙄

@LuckyMoonstone vitamin C is meant to be vital for improving the luteal phase

MrsC2018 · 28/11/2022 09:38

Sorry, hit me then that I've posted pics of pregnancy tests there without checking that it's ok on this thread 😢 have reported it

TheBirdintheCave · 28/11/2022 09:39

Of course it's ok :) In fact, we actively encourage it 😂

Luna57 · 28/11/2022 09:40

Just catching up on this now, I’ve lots of pages to go through- bear with 😂

Well after a 51 day cycle which I’m 99% sure I never ovulated I am finally out of it and on cd1 woo 💁🏼‍♀️ My first proper af since June!

hope everyone is ok!

ChloeN · 28/11/2022 09:41

@MrsC2018 yes definitely darker🤞🏻🤞🏻

@Luna57 oh you poor thing 😖 hope you’re feeling okay! X

TheBirdintheCave · 28/11/2022 09:44

@Luna57 51 days! Wow, I'm glad you got AF!

MrsC2018 · 28/11/2022 09:52

@TheBirdintheCave thanks! Still should have checked but I'm glad it's ok to post 😅
@Luna57 wow, 51 days - that's impressive, hopefully you'll have a really good ovulation this time (does it work like that?!)

FfayeN · 28/11/2022 10:01

@MrsC2018 it's definitely darker!! Gentle congratulations 😘.
I went into a tailspin last night about my AMH. God this journey does you in!!!
@Luna57 welcome back to CD1!!! Hoping your body has a nice juicy egg for this month ready to go 🙏🏼 xx

OP posts:
MrsC2018 · 28/11/2022 10:17

@FfayeN thanks, AMH is more of a player when you're having IVF I think. Even if your egg reserve is low, then as we only release one a month it doesn't particularly matter as long as your egg quality is still good then you should be able to conceive (I had secondary infertility in between my first and second children and lots of IVF)

LuckyMoonstone · 28/11/2022 10:20

@mummatara my last doctor took it a bit more seriously but she still didn’t say ‘yes that’s definitely no good’. So I’m definitely going to bring it up again.
@FfayeN I still don’t feel much different to be honest! But I’ll try not to be impatient haha.

FfayeN · 28/11/2022 10:48

@MrsC2018 thank you, you're now conceiving naturally?
@LuckyMoonstone how long until your follow up bloods? I can't remember what you said your TSH level was? They seem to always start on a low dose but once it gets going it should come down rather quickly 🤞🏼 xxx
