@MrsCristianoX OH! I will look for that :)

ChloeN · 23/10/2022 14:46

@Aprilsunnyday if you find anyway of distracting yourself let me know lol, I need some distraction too🤣

FfayeN · 23/10/2022 14:47

@Aprilsunnyday I know before it got too full so no one was able to add a post so it all got lost! I am confident it was the progesterone as I have had anything else since, just a constant back ache!
@HJA87 yes I have implemented a few bits. I haven't worried about the micro plastic stuff as I still want to enjoy life 🤣.
I take CoQ10, I was taking myo-inositol too but then read it doesn't combine well with low AMH which I have. There's some good tips in there, but I've taken it with a pinch of salt xx

@FfayeN is it quite a large dose of COQ10 you take?? Like a few tablets at once? Xx

FfayeN · 23/10/2022 15:24

@ChloeN I can't remember what the book recommended but I take 400mcg a day x

@FfayeN thanks lovely, if this cycle isn’t successful I’m going to try it I think! Xxx

HalWin2221 · 23/10/2022 16:32

@ChloeN when are you going to test? 🤞🏽

ChloeN · 23/10/2022 16:50

@HalWin2221 periods due Friday so hopefully waiting till after that doesn’t show! Who knows if I’ll make it to then🤣

LuckyMoonstone · 23/10/2022 16:57

Woop here we are, thread 13!
I’ll probably be quiet on here this month as we are not TTC but I’ll dip in and out, and I’ll be back to it in December!

ChloeN · 23/10/2022 17:03

@LuckyMoonstone hope you have a relaxing month off of ttc! Will be thinking of you❤️

LuckyMoonstone · 23/10/2022 17:05

Ah thank you! X

LuckyMoonstone · 23/10/2022 17:06

@ChloeN that thank you was aimed at you, forgot to tag 😂

Bubblesandballoons · 23/10/2022 17:17

Hi, hope it’s ok to join. I have had four early miscarriages in the last 10 months since trying for baby no 2, one at 7 weeks (dec last year) and 3 chemicals (Jan, feb and September). I was on here at the beginning of the year, but needed a break. I have been referred to the recurrent miscarriage clinic and finally have an ultrasound on sat and hopefully bloods (no mention of it on letter, but she did say would be at same time so I’m hoping they will be done 🤞🏻).

mummatara · 23/10/2022 17:58

@ChloeN I've just read the book. It's recommended to take 400mg of coq10 but in the form of ubiquinol which is a better form for it and you need to take it in 2 goes so 200mg with breakfast and 200 with lunch. And to make sure your prenatal has at least 800mg of folic acid but in the form of methofolate which again is a more absorbable form. I've also added in extra vitamin d as I spend a lot of time indoors. Vitamin c and r-lipoic acid which is a good anti oxidant and is both water and fat soluble so absorbed a bit easier. DH also takes 200mg of ubiquinol the lipoic acid and DHA extra I can add links to any if it helps? I got the ones on the recommended supplement list from the book.

@HJA87
I haven't taken much else from the book other than try and clean up my diet a bit. I think there are def things that might take it a bit far. But I did find some of the supplements an interesting read. Mainly I think I'm trying to improve our egg and sperm quality as getting pregnant and keeping it doesn't seem to be our issue it seems to stop developing so I do think it depends what you think you're problems are too.

ChloeN · 23/10/2022 18:10

@mummatara is the ubiquinol the even more expensive one🤣 I don’t think my folic acid is a very high dose either 🤷🏼‍♀️ have you got a link for the folic acid you take? Xxx

MrsCristianoX · 23/10/2022 18:12

@Bubblesandballoons I'm so sorry.. (was Mrs Grealish) what feels like a million years ago now xx

ChloeN · 23/10/2022 18:12

@mummatara just read the bottom bit of your post too, I don’t know if I have the same issue as you, might just be shit luck for me having the chemical last month too

mummatara · 23/10/2022 18:17

@ChloeN 😂 afraid it is. I think there's a different recommended amount if you take coq10 I'll have a look for you. honestly I think I've bankrupt us with the vitamins 🙈 this is the link for the prenatal I'm not sure what you call them in the uk preconception 🤔

Bubblesandballoons · 23/10/2022 18:19

@MrsCristianoX yeah it does. I did have a snoop on a few threads for you and charl and biscuit lover and couldn’t see you guys, so hoped you had had your bfps. Sorry to see you are in the miscarriage group too. Hope you are as well as you can be xx

mummatara · 23/10/2022 18:26

@ChloeN well my theory is that as both of mine have been MMC then low progesterone isn't my issue as I have no bleeding or spotting. I lost my first at 10 weeks and obviously this one was a blighted ovum which they say is more than likely a chromosome problem. I've had a healthy fairly problem free pregnancy in the past until I caught covid that is 🙄 but that's a whole other side to my theory 😂 I don't seem to have a problem getting pregnant it seems to be a baby developing problem which to me reads bad eggs or sperm or both

MrsCristianoX · 23/10/2022 18:30

@Bubblesandballoons yea the last was the pregnancy in May and a chemical a couple months ago. Good luck for Saturday 🤞 the midwife told me they take 12 vials of blood at the last miscarriage for the recurrent miscarriage clinic 😱 (I haven't been through that yet though) I'm on a break at the mo until late November xx

ROZRAX · 23/10/2022 18:36

Hi Ladies….. had a bit of time away to “relax” but unfortunately had another Chemical. I tested early, shouldn’t have done but I felt like I was going mad as I felt pregnant, got a early positive so at least I’m not imaging it all! @Bubblesandballoons your history seems very similar. A miscarriage and 2x Chemical in past 6 months. In terms of seeing reoccurring miscarriage clinic do they “count” Chemicals? Acupuncture- anyone tried that? Or am I clutching at straws along fertilliy cup and pre seed introduced a few cycles back!

mummatara · 23/10/2022 18:50

@ChloeN standard coq10 recommended dose is 600mg

ChloeN · 23/10/2022 18:55

@mummatara that makes my £4 folic acid look pretty shit🤣 I worried initially about progesterone as that seemed to solve loads of people’s mc issues but I guess it isn’t with mmc, nearly the opposite I suppose! Hopefully the bankrupting vitmains will give you fab eggs and sperm in the future, 3rd time lucky for you lovely🤞🏻🤞🏻 do you think you’re one of those people whose body accepts any egg rather than rejecting the ones that might not make it?xxx

@ROZRAX I think that’s the worst thing with testing early!😔 but if it counts as a loss I guess it’s better to know and be able to access help!

Bubblesandballoons · 23/10/2022 18:56

@MrsCristianoX 😳 how many! I best take myself a snack for afterwards to keep me going 😂. Sorry to hear that. I’ve had to sit this month out for this ultrasound.. it felt like another blow after all this to have to waste a month. It’s hard going through your fertile window and not being able to at least try isn’t it. I just felt like my body was screaming at me to try 😩. Are you having tests to? (Hope you don’t mind me asking)
@ROZRAX mine did. I did register for a midwife app for first one at 4 weeks before I started bleeding at 5 weeks, so they had that on file. After the second chemical I just rang up gp in tears and she said she’d refer me, I’m over 35 too, so I’m not sure if that helped.
