Our SMEP plans continue.... The old thread is almost full, so I started a new thread so we can continue on SMEP-ing to a BFP ✨☺️✨

Hey everyone, @allgoodthings84 - that's a great line! Keeping everything crossed for you. Hope your results come back ok @LucyFraser1981. Do you know when you might hear anything? AF arrived today, but feeling ok about it. We didn't DTD a great deal this month because of having Covid so I wasn't expecting anything. It's been good for me to have a mental break from the anxiety of it all to be honest.

Thank you @LucyFraser1981 I really hope it is a sticky one. I just wish I could get excited but after the last 2 cycles my head overrules and I’m feeling so negative. I feel like I’m waiting to start bleeding again. Feels too good to be true but hopefully third time lucky

@fsr111 thank you. I hope it sticks this time too but not feeling hopeful yet after the last 2 cycles. What results do you mean? I’m so sorry your AF has arrived hopefully this next cycle will be the one. Covid isn’t fun ☹️

@LucyFraser1981 I will definitely be busier this week to help things a bit. My daughter is poorly today too poor thing 😞.

I’m already going crazy though as my RHR dropped so now I’m thinking the worst. On the last 2 CP’s my RHR didn’t start to drop until the day I started actually bleeding which was a couple days after a negative frer so I took another cheapie expecting no line or really faint but it’s a lot darker than Thursdays one (Thursday was 12dpo). The top test is Thursday and the bottom this morning (15dpo) so I don’t know really what to think. I need to take my watch off but then I like to look back at what went on during the last 2 losses so if I take it off then I won’t have it to look back on 🤦‍♀️.

I’m saving the second frer until Wednesday morning so will be 4 days after the first frer as it had such a dark line then it will be easy to see if it’s getting fainter.

The line getting that much darker is definitely a good sign @allgoodthings84 ! 🍀🍀🍀

It’s looking promising at the moment. I’ll still be on my guard (probably for the whole pregnancy lol) but feel like I can feel a bit more positive now 🤞 I know it’s very early days but I started bleeding 18dpo with the other 2 and tested with fainter lines before that so it’s much better than before!

I’m still terrified but I need to chill as stressing won’t help of course. I’m going to enjoy Xmas even though I’ve got a stinking cold and slight sore throat (thanks to my partner and daughter 😂)

I’ve got my works Xmas party tomorrow night so I’ve decided to not tell anyone that I’m not drinking and just order drinks in a small glass so they think it’s a mixer and drink slowly so if anyone offers me a drink I can say “no thank you I’ve still got one”. Looks less suspicious than making up an excuse to why. A lot are out drinking before the party which I couldn’t make because of childcare so I’m hoping they will already be tipsy so not really notice anyway.

How are you both now @LucyFraser1981 @fsr111 ? I’m lost where everyone is at because of my AF and ovulations being pushed back twice

And I don’t need to hide not drinking tomorrow night now as feeling completely pants so won’t be going out. I’ve got an awful cold.

I'm not doing so great; fell over a couple of days ago, and badly hurt my leg, plus period pain, waiting on heart monitor results, and not having seen my partner in nearly two weeks due to him having flu and now back helping his elderly friends as the husband is back in hospital and no ambulances available (my partner was called upon again to be the ambulance, even though he's not fully recovered from the flu yet), I feel like it was easier being single! 😞😭

@LucyFraser1981 oh my word that looks so sore you poor thing! And I’m so sorry you’ve not been able to see your partner and that he’s having to go out not fully better himself yet 😞. I know how hard that feel. I didn’t see my partner during the first lock down for those 13 weeks before they brought in the new rule for single adult households and it’s so hard not seeing them. 2 weeks is a long time especially this time of year 🥰

I’ve got tonsillitis ladies. I started feeling poorly Wednesday but yesterday morning I woke up with white spots all over my tonsils and tender glands in my neck so I rang doctors first thing yesterday morning but because I’m pregnant I have to see a gp not a nurse and they are short staffed because of sickness so couldn’t get an appointment until late this afternoon.

My throat is in so much pain but I’m no longer aching etc. I’m very glad they could get me in before Xmas as I know from my own experience as soon as I start on antibiotics I’ll start to feel better. I always get it when I’m run down so I’m guessing the lowered immune system hasn’t helped. I had it when pregnant with my daughter too. I wish the appointment was earlier in the day but better than nothing

How are you feeling @allgoodthings84 I used to suffer so badly with tonsillitis until they finally took them out when I was 18. Hope they got you on the antibiotics quick sharp ❤️

@LucyFraser1981 happy Christmas! The antibiotics are making me feel sick (they always do) but they are fighting the infection so my throat is starting to feel much better and no temperature anymore. My boobs are pretty sore when touched and when I first take my bra off.

something else happened though, I’m now engaged! I love the ring he picked 😊 he says we’ve been through a lot together and it’s only pulled us closer together

I’ve taken a step back from here as I felt it was becoming all consuming, cd7 of cycle 7.
Feels like this isn’t ever going to happen for me.
we have a sperm analysis on 09/02 so atleast that will yield some answers.

Thanks @NSx. I’m constantly worried though that it’s going to happen again. I really wish I could enjoy it but it’s on my mind a lot. I feel like it’s going to end up being a loss again.

It will definitely happen for you again but I know how shit the waiting and worrying if anything is wrong is. Fingers crossed the sperm analysis goes well. If we lose this one that’s the first thing we need to do then we get referred. It always seems so unfair when others ttc find it so quick and easy and have no losses and although happy for them makes you feel why not me doesn’t it 😞

yea it’s really tough, and unfair like you say. It happens so easily for some, and for others not so much.
i have just had it with ttc, it’s mentally draining.
anyways we have no control over any of it so I’ll just wait and see I suppose 😂😅

@allgoodthings84 - huge congratulations on getting engaged! That's absolutely lovely news. Those lines look nice and strong too so keeping everything crossed this is your time! Have the antibiotics done the trick for your throat?

I’m all worried at the moment as my RHR went up to 79 at its peak (but is now down to 74. It’s dropped with the other 2 losses that’s why I’m worried. I keep telling myself that it was always going to shoot up higher because of the infection and it probably wouldn’t have gone as high as that if I didn’t have an infection so maybe it’s a come down from that now the infection has gone. I’m clinging on to that. Was bad timing to get poorly. I’m not bleeding so got to think that

Thanks @NatGee I’m just taking it day by day week by week at the moment. Considering a private scan in 2 weeks when I’ll be 9 weeks as the worry is getting to be and I’ve not even got my booking in appointment until 10 weeks so doubt the scan will be at 12 weeks more like 13 I imagine
