Thanks guys, although annoying if that does mean the next three months are wasted... 🫠
@LucyFraser1981 - great news for you and your partner! I'm really happy he got the job and that should make things much easier for you both, hope that good news has soften the blow that comes with AFs arrival. @allgoodthings84, pleased to hear from you, have been thinking of you, although really frustrating you haven't heard from the doctor yet. Hope you managed to get some rest over the weekend. 🤍

allgoodthings84 · 22/11/2022 12:58

@LucyFraser1981 thats fantastic news! I’m so happy for you 😊

@fsr111 I’m ok. It’s been hard going physically this time round as it was more painful but today should be the last day of bleeding. The 3 month thing may have just been a complete coincidence for us as we may just not have gotten pregnant anyway not just because of covid. It was just the timing that made me think but there’s no way to ever know. It made my ovulation a week late but I had covid just before ovulation was due so I think it probably depends where in the cycle you catch covid. If you catch it after ovulation or just after AF starts probably enough time to recover before ovulation is due to come round so will be as normal if you see what I mean. My 3 cycles after covid were all 24/25 days too which isn’t unheard of for me but rare. After those 3 months it’s been 26 and 27 days which is my normal. Don’t know if it was covid or coincidence though. I know it wouldn’t have effected ttc though. I’m CD5 now so coming up to start dtd this weekend. It soon comes round

allgoodthings84 · 24/11/2022 08:16

How’s everyone doing?

allgoodthings84 · 24/11/2022 08:21

I think I might ovulate really early this cycle. Im only CD8 and usually when I get readings like this (was 0.37 on Premom) I peak within 24 hours. I don’t know if 2 early miscarriages in a row has messed with my hormones so I’m going to get a slower surge this cycle or if I’m going to ovulate really early. I usually ovulate CD12-CD15. I’ll keep testing but if I get a peak tomorrow then it will put my cycle at only 22 days! 😮

or maybe my CD1 was earlier than I thought but I didn’t start properly bleeding until last Thursday evening putting me at CD1 but maybe with a miscarriage spotting counts 🤷‍♀️

LucyFraser1981 · 24/11/2022 10:07

@allgoodthings84 I think it can definitely affect cycle length etc, so just keep testing?

I'm currently sat in hospital after spending 4 hours in a&e yesterday as my weird heart palpitations and irregular heartbeat that I've had for years has been getting worse, and then when I used a pulse oximeter a few nights ago I realised my pulse was dropping to 40bpm, so today I'm in the same day emergency care clinic, for yet more bloods and ECGs, but I think they're not majorly worried and I'll just end up being referred for a 72 wearable ecg monitor 🙄 luckily my son was due to be with his Dad from today, so I just phoned his stepmum yesterday to ask if they could have him from yesterday after school instead, so that made things easier!
Just waiting on another blood test, so will be here at least another 2 hours probably 😖

allgoodthings84 · 24/11/2022 10:29

@LucyFraser1981 the first miscarriage didn’t affect it at all but I’m hoping this time it’s just a slower surge or seems way too early. Maybe 2 in a row has messed things up 😞

oh no! I hope you’re ok and get sorted asap. It’s scary when it’s your heart. Make sure you rest up.

LucyFraser1981 · 24/11/2022 11:28

@allgoodthings84 Well we know stress can affect things, so it may make a difference this time, or could just be a slow surge like you said. Fingers crossed it's just that 🙂

I've been discharged, so just waiting for a taxi. Have to come back in the next few days to have a 72 hour ECG monitor fitted, but all tests so far are fine. But as I told them, it's intermittent, so the only way to catch it will be with the 72 hour monitor! 🤦🏻‍♀️

allgoodthings84 · 24/11/2022 11:42

@LucyFraser1981 hopefully they get it fitted quick enough to catch the issue

stress puts back ovulation not bring it forwards so I can only think it’s hormones all over the place

NatGee · 25/11/2022 17:57

hello ladies! thought I'd pop on to see how you are all getting on and to let you know I am still alive ha although sadly not yet pregnant. Id been wanting a puppy for ages so we got ourselves one and she's done wonders in putting my mind off this whole ttc malarkey. We're onto our 7th cycle now. Apparently over 90% of all couples conceive within a year of trying so, only five more months to go? Hope this becomes a luckier thread soon fingers crossed!

@allgoodthings84 I am SO sorry for your news, heartbreaking, to be so close and then to start all over again. I wish I could something to help?

@LucyFraser1981 I had a similar scare a few years back where I had some palpitations, I was fitted with a heart monitor for something like three days and came back clear. Not all chest flutters are sinister but always good to get it checked. Good luck, more likely than not it won't be anything to worry about

@NSx It’s Friday now, has AF arrived yesterday like you expected it to?

@fsr111 hope you’re recovering from covid, hope it wasn’t too awful of a time? We had it twice and thankfully it wasn’t horrific

allgoodthings84 · 25/11/2022 18:39

Hi @NatGee awwww a puppy ❤️ I bet it’s a great discretion.

unfortunately I have just had 2 early miscarriages/CPs in a row 😞 one in October and one earlier this month. I’m CD9 now so we will go again. One more miscarriage and hopefully I’ll be taken seriously that something may be wrong

NatGee · 25/11/2022 20:28

@allgoodthings84 let's hope it won't come to having any investigations done. Crossing my fingers for you hugs

fsr111 · 25/11/2022 21:29

Hey @NatGee, nice to hear from you! How exciting that you have got a puppy! What kind of pup do you have? Dogs are the best. Covid wasn't too bad for me but DH has been rotten with it, we're CD9 today and I've sort of floated the idea that we might need to DTD tomorrow but have a feeling this month could be a complete write off! How's everyone else? Sorry to hear about your scary experience @LucyFraser1981, how are you now?

LucyFraser1981 · 29/11/2022 10:05

@NatGee @fsr111 all tests were fine, so just Watford my appointment for the 72hr monitor to be fitted, but no idea when that'll be 🙄 partner's worried about my health so we're not really trying this cycle, so I'm not using any opks or temping etc, which will be a nice break!

Hope we get some luck on here soon 🍀💗

allgoodthings84 · 02/12/2022 12:54

@LucyFraser1981 a break might be good for you. You see so many stories of people getting pregnant the month that they take a step back. I hope you get a monitor sorted asap and can find out what’s going on

how’severyone else? @NSx @fsr111 @NatGee @pomdownunder1

I finally heard back from my GP yesterday and he’s asked me to go in next Wednesday to talk face to face as he agrees I should now be referred to the gynaecologists with the spotting and 2 back to back CP/early miscarriages so that’s a relief that something may get done

In the end I still haven’t ovulated yet and now I’m CD16 but my tests were 0.56 this morning so will be this afternoon/tonight going by all the previous months. We have been dtd every other day since CD8 so I’m not worried about that

it’s our late night shopping/Christmas fayre event tonight so my daughter will be very excited when I pick her up from school. Then there’s the damned elf to keep me distracted 🙄

NSx · 03/12/2022 12:25

Good afternoon ladies 💖

hope you’re all well. I’ve tried to take a bit of a timeout this month as I was getting a bit obsessed with it all.
Not to mention my sister in law had her baby girl last week (who I haven’t met yet cos honestly I can’t face it, not sure if this makes me a bad person or not but I just don’t want to cry in front of her) …

anyways I’m cd9 and we DTD - going to do alternate days through fertile period and see how it goes should ovulate cd14/15ish.
my partner got referred for a seman analysis but the first appt is 09 feb 😅😭
I spoke to my gp who said she was going to ask if they could do an ultrasound for me to check everything is fine inside, she said there’s no indication that there isn’t and as I was pregnant in feb they may decline it, if so I will go private and have a scan.
so atleast that is something 💖

Glad to hear ur all ok 💖 @LucyFraser1981 please take it easy … so glad things are working out for you and your OH ✨💖💖
@allgoodthings84 so glad ur getting referred finally I think it’s the right thing 💖 2 in a row defo deserves looking into here’s hoping however that you get ur BFP this month

@NatGee welcome back 💖 please post your puppy 😍😍😍

@fsr111 i hope you’re feeling better after covid, I can’t imagine it was too pleasant 😭 get well soon ❤️

@pomdownunder1 how are u doing ? Hope everything is ok with u xx

@pomdownunder1 how are u doing ? Hope everything is ok with u xx

@NSx that doesn't make you a bad person at all. I think it's good to take some time out as well, it can be all consuming. Hope you're ok 💕

We had our first consultation with the ivf specialist. He thinks it's not down to a blockage, which we were really hoping it was. More tests to do and then we can look at next steps in the new year. We FaceTimed my in laws and they were saying oh it's ok, there's always adoption! Yes, there is but that's not where we're at right now!

NSx · 04/12/2022 14:42

@pomdownunder1 im ok 💖 thank you, just trying to get into the festive spirit and relax on all things ttc.
sorry I don’t know too much about IVF but does that mean it it’s not a blockage it’s something more serious? Like something not easily fixed?
I think you are a million miles off adoption, there are many other options well before that so I think that was a bit of an insensitive/silly shout.
hope your ok 💖 try to enjoy Christmas and NY and go into 2023 with more hopefully a solution/options xx

allgoodthings84 · 04/12/2022 20:12

@NSx you definitely need to do what you feel is best for you right now. It doesn’t make you a bad person. Hopefully you will get that scan to be sure there’s nothing wrong.

I don’t think it will happen for us this cycle as it was ovulation day yesterday and my partner just wasn’t in the right frame of mind. He’d had a really bad stressful day and I didn’t want to pressure him any further. We did get the day before in (peak day) and 4 days before ovulation but I’m not feeling too positive especially after everything that’s already happened. In some ways it might be good for my body if it did have a break and if I don’t get a bfp at least I know I won’t be miscarrying over Xmas as that’s exactly what would be happening if I followed the same pattern of the last 2 cycles

@pomdownunder1 it’s so annoying when family are so insensitive. It’s a reason we haven’t told anyone what’s been going on or that we are trying even

NSx · 04/12/2022 21:11

@allgoodthings84 my partner obviously wants to meet his niece but he can’t face it, so we go between not wanting to go and then feeling guilty that she will be 2 weeks old on Wednesday and we still haven’t met her. It’s honestly just a horrific situation to be in.
ill wait until after the NY and if I haven’t heard anything I’ll book a private scan.
I don’t think giving your body a break this month would be a bad thing, however you DTD 4 days before ovulation & the day before (am I right in saying this?) so I think you’ve got it covered.
we will DTD cd9,11,13 and maybe 14/15 - will see how it goes, trying to take a step back from it all.

fsr111 · 05/12/2022 06:56

Morning everyone, I've also been trying to enjoy the Christmas build up and put TTC slightly further back in my head. Tricky though. @NSx, I feel for you, it's a really difficult situation to be in. You have to just do whatever feels right for you and your OH and not worry about what anyone else thinks, but I know that's easier said than done. One of my closest friends who I see all the time is due mid January. We started trying at a similar time and I'm honestly dreading the baby arriving. I feel terrible even thinking that though.
@pomdownunder1, sorry you are having to deal with this (and your slightly insensitive in-laws!). Did the consultant offer any ideas of what next steps might look like for you?
@allgoodthings84, I'd agree with @NSx that you have hit all of the key days, so you might still be in with a chance, although as you say it's a bit of a bitter edged sword until you know if something is wrong.
I don't think we will be in it this month. DH had Covid really bad and so the first few days of fertile window were a no go. We hit the day before and the day of ovulation (which was later than usual) but with Covid hanging around I don't think it'll be worth getting my hopes up. I had a gynae appointment this week and have been referred for a laparoscopy to investigate for endometriosis. I'm feeling a bit mixed about it. Obviously it would be good to know if that is an issue but also we were looking to start the ball rolling with IVF in the new year. I'm not really sure what order to do everything in and who to ask really.

LucyFraser1981 · 05/12/2022 15:12

Hey all, sorry we're all still struggling, sounds like we're none of us in a great place at the moment. This month has definitely been a break for me, I've not been temping or using opks at all, and as my partner has been away we only dtd for the first time yesterday, which may have been ovulation day based on past dates, but that doesn't mean alot. Been struggling with my mental health recently, so that plus the physical health worries (still not heard about the 72hr monitor, as when I chased cardiology up last week they said they'd lost the request 🤦🏻‍♀️) means it was definitely a good idea to take a break. Hoping to feel more positive in the new year! Sending you all big hugs xxx

allgoodthings84 · 07/12/2022 10:35

How is everyone doing?

I’m so sorry to hear you’ve not got your monitor sorted yet @LucyFraser1981 that must be so worrying 😞

just had my GP appointment and feel a bit deflated. Basically they’ve told my gp because of my bloods they won’t take anything further with me until my partner has a sperm analysis. I’m so annoyed as he had one booked for early October but because I got pregnant they told him to cancel it as couldn’t be his sperm! so now we are so many months behind. Even if I have another miscarriage (so the 3 they insist on) the first thing they will suggest is a sperm analysis so to get in first. They said they sperm that’s not quite right can prevent implantation or cause early miscarriage

they won’t hear of the spotting being an issue as the amount of days I spot before AF is considered normal and say it can’t be progesterone because of my bloods being so good

so yea not sure what to think/feel as I know in myself that it’s something with me but they won’t investigate further yet

LucyFraser1981 · 17/12/2022 14:09

Hello busy busy pre-Christmas ladies! How is everyone doing? Had my heart monitor for a week and took it back yesterday, so hoping for results next week sometime. No baby making this cycle due to heart issues/partner being away/now full of flu so quarantined at his! Hope you're all doing okay and not too stressed xx

allgoodthings84 · 17/12/2022 14:18

Hi @LucyFraser1981. I’m glad you finally got your monitor! I hope the results are ok 🤞 I hope your partner feels better asap!

well I’m 14dpo and pregnant again (bfp this morning) and terrified
