Our SMEP plans continue.... The old thread is almost full, so I started a new thread so we can continue on SMEP-ing to a BFP ✨☺️✨

@LucyFraser1981 i had like 5 drinks and I felt rough the next day 😂😂 I never drink these days so it hit me like a tonne of bricks …

im hoping I’ve booked the right day but at this point I’ve already rescheduled so will hope I ovulate tomorrow 😂😅
dont worry too much about it if the bloods come back wrong they will ask u to redo them the following cycle 😅

yes it’s extremely busy here on a Monday, everyone seems to have so many problems at the wkend 😩🤪

I'm not a big drinker either, so have just given up alcohol and caffeine completely (chocolate doesn't count...!) as I'm not that fussed.

Yes, me too, because my actual birthday tomorrow is going to be pretty rubbish 😅 6am start as usual for the manic hour of getting ready for school, then housework etc, plus I don't get to see my partner until Wednesday evening now 😕

@LucyFraser1981 I have one coffee 3/4 times a week max - but not daily as I’m not huge on hot tea and coffee only iced coffee …

how u getting on with your chart this month, did u figure out ovulation in the end ? (I know you were confused with your static smiley 😊)

@NSx oooh I absolutely LOVE an iced mocha in the summer 😍😋 I drink one black coffee/espresso in the morning usually, once it gets colder, but I'm just as happy with decaf

Well on our way down to Cornwall we'll be stopping at Exeter for a wagamama's as we've not been since last year, so this is a good excuse! So that will hopefully get birthday/anniversary weekend off to a good start 😊

Well if I assume the CB was accurate, and my thermometer was also accurate (ish, as they're never that spot on), then FF says I ovulated on CD11, I'd guess probably that evening/overnight, so about 3/4 chuffing days early 🤦🏻‍♀️ just hoping we got enough BD in to catch, but I guess the one good thing is I don't have as long to wait before I can stress myself out testing early... 😖🤣

Are you thinking you ovulated today/tomorrow?

I think I should ovulate tomorrow probably - not sure really as I don’t get any pains - I will keep an eye on my temperature & take it from there.

I guess so! 4dpo tomorrow supposedly, so will just have to wait and see 😬 will probably do a test on the 19th as that'll be 10dpo 🤞🍀

I took an over the counter medicine to kill them but now im starting a natural deparasitic treatment using diatomaceous earth and papaya seeds
Obviously theres been no dtd and its cd10 for me today so I am not hopeful this month. Also I dont know what this worm treatment might do to my cycles? Whatever the result its gotta be done. In fact I read everyone should do it once in a while

Anyway! How have you all been ?

I am seriously considering not doing them because the gp said theyd check for ovulation which im not interested in as i know I am. Wondering whether to go private as at least ill know what theyll be testing for. No one can tell me for sure at the surgery right now. I don't want to have to keep going for blood tests

They are sending me for a scan so itll be good to see what comes out of that

@NatGee oooof! Well what a time you've had! Hope you're feeling okay now? What's the treatment they recommend everyone should do once in a while, the diatomaceous earth?

Yeah, I have day 21 bloods booked for a week tomorrow, which I was going to cancel, as I was sure I was ovulating fine, but as this cycle has totally thrown me with its supposed CD11 ovulation, I think I'll keep the appointment. Means I'll likely onkybhave a 26 day cycle this month, asopposed to my normal 29 days, so at least I can start torturing myself early symptom spotting/testing 🤦🏻‍♀️😬😅

Ahh thank you! I can't wait, as today is no different to most days really, plus I had to buy my own birthday cake! And not the caterpillar one I wanted, my autistic eight year old was very insistent on me having a round chocolate cake 🙄🤣 ah well, be Thursday soon and then I can spend four days eating whatever I want, and doing absolutely NO HOUSEWORK! 🥳

I did so much reading about worms, apparently theyre very commong amongst children. What some were saying is that kids should be dewormed regularly as they spread so easily. What treatment you choose is down to you. The OTC stuff works immediately, but as a preventative measure, I'd like to go the natural route with the seeds and diotomaceous earth.

@NatGee oh no that’s awful, I see people in my work coming in with those, they’re not nice at all 😩😩

@NatGee that doesn’t sound fun. I think I had worms once as a very young kid and had to drink a disgusting drink but would have been in very early 90s. I give my daughter work treatment every so often just in case as she’s only 7 at primary school but it’s not that drink 😂

I’ve seen on another thread that someone starts spotting from 7dpo every cycle and she got her bfp a couple weeks ago! She still had spotting before her bfp AF just didn’t arrive from what she’s said. So there’s hope for me for future. It took her a year but she’s not sure if it’s linked

I think I’m out this month either way as my RHR went up as usual after ovulation but has stayed the same since then until going up 1 more bpm today. Good that it’s not dropped at all but because it didn’t keep going up I’m not sure if I had a proper rise in progesterone (I have no idea if RHR is linked to progesterone). I know it went up today by 1bpm but 10dpo is always my RHR peak (usually 1-2bpm higher than now) then it starts slowly going back down from 11dpo (AF arrives 13dpo)

@allgoodthings84 when is AF due now? I’m joint she doesn’t come 🤞 there’s still a chance even with your spotting

@NSx based on my normal LP will be Friday.

I’m still waiting for a call from doctors to cancel/rearrange my day 3 bloods. I rang yesterday but they said I had to wait for them to contact me. I know I won’t be able to get it done next cycle now anyway as the Tuesday will be CD5 and too late. At least I can get the day 21 bloods done still at beginning of October but day 3 won’t be until the following cycle mid October time now. Annoying but nothing I can do about it.

I know I’m not definitely out yet but I still can’t wrap my head round how you can spot and still implant. Even reading that it can definitely happen I’m in disbelief 😂. When I do get a bfp I’m going to be so bloody shocked. The RHR thing has bothered me this cycle too as well as the spotting starting earlier after dtd. I definitely think dtd brought it on as I was fine just before and it started straight after. My poor partner thinks he’s done something to me 😂

where did you read about the girls with spotting was it on here ? It might mean that there’s no issue after all?

@allgoodthings84 I am sorry that you feel you're out, we know our own bodies and totally relate to having that feeling things havent quite panned out in a particular cycle. I properly tracked last cycle and my hr followed my bbt. I had noticed in the past that it dips for a few days just before ovulation so I think they are related, for sure. Of course there is hope, our bodies are such funny things. what works for one, does not mean itll work in the same way for us.
