@SarahShorty I can only imagine how annoying that is for you :(

@LucyLoopyLu I’ve got my fingers crossed for you.

@DesertSnow that sounds very promising!

We’ve DTD on CD13/14/15/17 for our first cycle now. I seem to have longer cycles, so hoping we’ve covered our bases. My partners already moaning at the lack of spontaneity 😂😂

On a lighter note, did anyone see the rounds of the sonogram that looked like Trump?

Thanks @DesertSnow, keeping my fingers crossed for you!

@dearhummingbirds sounds like you have it covered! Baby dust to you 💫 hopefully your OH won't have to put up with the lack of spontaneity for long!

@SarahShorty how are you doing? Any sign of AF yet? Have you taken another test? I wonder if you ovulated late this cycle?

X

DesertSnow · 18/11/2022 10:51

@dearhummingbirds that picture made me giggle, thanks so much for sharing it!

So I did a cheapie this morning and got a very faint line within the timeframe. I just didn't feel right yesterday, and this morning my BBT shot up so thought I might as well take a test. Looks like the AF symptoms and temperature drop on 8DPO may have been implantation?

I'm only 10DPO and the line is very faint so not counting my chickens just yet, but I'm tentatively excited - especially as LP is usually 7-8 days and was really beginning to despair.

If this sticks, how incredible to have a genuine honeymoon baby!

Hope you're all doing ok.

SarahShorty · 18/11/2022 11:02

@LucyLoopyLu still no AF. CD38, 21DPO according to the app. Haven't taken another test. I do recall my BBT was very strange this cycle, was below the coverline which is unusual for me. This morning it's up higher still. It's possible that a follicle tried to rupture and failed because there is plenty of progesterone in my system - everything hurts! I'm not going to go to the doctor simply because either a BFP or AF will arrive, and with my luck, AF will show up on the day I go.

@DesertSnow tentative congratulations xx

Houseelf90 · 18/11/2022 11:58

@DesertSnow tentative congratulations! Will keep my fingers crossed that you see some pregression!
12dpo now for me and stupidly have done another cheapie, another BNF. I don’t know why I do it to myself! Hopefully I can hold out over the weekend and not test until next week now!

BritishDesiGirl · 18/11/2022 15:30

Hello, All

Well , AF arrived 2 days earlier than expected.

I have been taking strength from praying and becoming spirituality stronger. My faith has really been helping me deal with my wants and expectations and helping me to become have more patience. Feel very emotional writing this!!

I am off on holiday next week. Don't know if that will make a difference . Onto cycle 5.

Congratulations to those of us that got their BFPS. Wishing all the best to those of us still waiting.

lj2022 · 18/11/2022 15:32

@DesertSnow nearly 20 weeks now still can't quite believe it sometimes after it taking longer than expected to conceive but I just can't believe now how quick it's going

Dreamingof3 · 18/11/2022 15:43

@DesertSnow how amazing would that be...keeping everything crossed for you!

I'm almost 23 weeks now and already dreaming of finishing work 😂 I only work part time but I'm finding it so draining and wondering when I can realistically be signed off and then just start maternity early!

SarahShorty · 18/11/2022 16:52

It would seem as though I've had a cycle where I've ovulated twice, that is to say, the first follicle didn't rupture, so my body released another egg, which I missed on the tracking and my BBT is quite a way up with my period coming early next week. I recall a cycle that was unusually long like this some years ago, so I think I'm out for this one. When AF arrives, I'll ring up the fertility clinic to get bloods done (to check for any nasties, for legal reasons) and I'll try one more cycle. After that, our days trying naturally will end. Why can't things just be straightforward, eh?

PinkButtercups · 18/11/2022 17:06

How is everyone doing?

These last couple of days I felt like absolute poop. I just feel so wiped out and no motivation to do anything at all.

The other night I'm assuming one of the babies were under my rib cage. It was so painful I could've cried. I vomited it hurt so much and a massive bulge on that side I had to press down to get them to move out the way 😭.

33+6 now and my bile acids just keep rising now at 66. Have my midwife on Tuesday and my consultant is next door that day so will be asking for 2x weekly blood test as per guidelines when they reach over 40. One week ago they were 44.. 🙄.

I have a feeling these babies aren't going to stay in until 37 weeks like planned. Just thankful for everyday they're wriggling and staying tucked up even if it does hurt sometimes!

lj2022 · 18/11/2022 18:50

@PinkButtercups please please please push for more regular testing of your bile acids. This is just from a very recent family experience. Not wanting to scare you but they should be testing more often if it's even a sight concern as they can change so quickly. It's something I don't think is taken seriously enough. Hope otherwise you are doing okay ❤️ sorry for the unsolicited advice but I feel I need to be such an advocate now for this for my family and for others to be aware

DesertSnow · 18/11/2022 19:56

Thank you for your kind congratulations ladies - I'm not counting on anything yet but this is the first step and I feel so lucky and excited. Not sure there's any point testing tomorrow as I will only get obsessive about progression. Might test Sunday and in the mean time just hope I don't start bleeding.

@BritishDesiGirl sorry AF arrived early. But now you're onto the next cycle and a new change. Fingers crossed. Lovely to read about how your faith is helping you. Hopefully being on holiday will help with relaxing - which honestly I think was a factor in my cycle.

@lj2022 Gosh 20 weeks! I remember you finding out, that's flown by!

@SarahShorty did you manage to DTD to catch the second ovulation? Fingers crossed that you'll get your BFP before you need intervention, but good you're moving things forward.

@PinkButtercups I'm sorry, that sounds so uncomfortable! Hope you're managing to put your feet up and hope you feel more comfortable soon.

BritishDesiGirl · 18/11/2022 20:03

@DesertSnow

Thankyou.

I really hope you get your BFP. Xx

PinkButtercups · 18/11/2022 20:14

@DesertSnow thank you xx

@lj2022 Oh don't worry I will! I have weekly testing at the moment for the BA's. My consultant follows all the guidelines but it was a different doctor checking my results on Thursday so will speak to her on Tuesday. I will be having 2 x weekly blood tests and I'll make sure of it x

lj2022 · 18/11/2022 20:17

@PinkButtercups I'm so glad you're getting weekly monitoring! So excited for you can't believe that's almost time already for you!

@DesertSnow omg I must have missed the post about your faint line. Keeping everything crossed for you. I bought an early detection digital in Asda and it showed when my lines were still very faint. I pee'd in a Tupperware then went to Asda so I could use first morning pee 😂 keeping everything crossed for you 🤞

SarahShorty · 18/11/2022 20:18

@Dreamingof3 no. I got tired of POAS after the few days after the first surge 😭 I thought that was it. I'll just have to wait and see what happens.

dearhummingbirds · 18/11/2022 20:38

Love your Asda story @lj2022 😂😂

lj2022 · 18/11/2022 20:39

@dearhummingbirds 8am and was off work and drove like I was in wacky races to get there and back as quickly as possible 😂 I think I knew in my heart at that point and couldn't squint at tests any longer

PinkButtercups · 18/11/2022 21:55

@lj2022 they've been testing my liver function and BA's weekly since they told me I have it so since about 28 weeks.

I know it's scary people packing their hospital bags are all over my TT and I'm just sat here on TT looking at my empty bags 🤣.

lj2022 · 18/11/2022 21:57

@PinkButtercups it all comes together anyway! My sister in law didn't have anything packed, their carpets were getting fitted that week and everything and she went at 33+2 but we all chipped in and made it work and got her what she needed. Main focus is for you to take care of yourself now! Excited for you looks like you'll be the first on the thread to give birth

PinkButtercups · 18/11/2022 22:03

@lj2022 Hope she and baby are doing okay?!
As long as DS is sorted it's fine 🤣.

That's crazy when you put it like that! 😯

lj2022 · 18/11/2022 22:08

@PinkButtercups yep they're doing great now thanks! Keep us all updated when you can xx

PinkButtercups · 18/11/2022 22:40

@lj2022 Glad to hear they're doing well!
Yes I will do xx

dearhummingbirds · 19/11/2022 09:54

@lj2022 haha - you needed the real deal.

@DesertSnow any progress on your lines?! I’ve got everything crossed for you.

So I think I’m officially in my first TWW. Had a bit of spotting this morning with my FMU. But looking back at my tracking that seems to be normal for me around ovulation. Had a google (never the best idea 🥲) and it might just be hormonal fluctuations. Feeling very apprehensive about what’s to come now!

SarahShorty · 19/11/2022 14:46

SarahShorty · 18/11/2022 20:18

@Dreamingof3 no. I got tired of POAS after the few days after the first surge 😭 I thought that was it. I'll just have to wait and see what happens.

That was meant for @DesertSnow ! Sorry!
