thank you so much!! Super nervous for tomorrow as it was so faint (needs the bathroom light) and the cheapie was a BFN. My OH has said take it as a no until tomorrow to manage my expectations… but I’m like we’ve never even had the smidge of a line before!! He says tomorrow if it’s a BFP I can talk babies!! Going to keep praying and hoping!

@SarahShorty I’ve heard of it so many times where you start the process and then it happens naturally the month before. Fingers crossed for you!

@Bananatoast123 have you got anything planned today to keep you distracted?

@SarahShorty I've heard so many times people getting their BFP just before starting IVF, I hope it’s the same for you!

@Houseelf90 yes I’m trying to continue like normal! And we’re going out for dinner tonight! I’m very aware we could have a CP so just trying to keep that in my mind that tomorrow might not tell us what we want despite todays! We are both praying today though!! 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Thanks for reassurances about being ill not impacting our chances. Still in the grips of a nasty flu. I'm 4DPO and I've been feeling like AF is coming all day - and had a significant BBT dip this morning (almost to cover line) so getting my knickers in a twist a bit that my already very short LP is getting ever shorter. If anyone has any stories of a big temp dip at 4DPO then picking back up, I'm all ears!

Very exciting about the faint line @Bananatoast123 - I get why you're trying to hold off on being excited, but I have everything crossed for you. Let us know how you get on tomorrow!

@Houseelf90 fingers crossed the nausea is a good sign! How many DPO are you?

Ooh that sounds promising @SarahShorty - just to repeat what others have said there are definitely a lot of stories about couples starting IVF but conceiving just before they're due to start. Really hope this will be the case for you too. But if it's not, then great you're being proactive and starting so soon!

@DesertSnow I’m around 6/7dpo but this is my first cycle after a CP so I’m not taking that as gospel as I think your cycles can be a bit all over after!

Hi ladies, hope everyone's doing well, so much to catch up on when you haven't been on in a little while. Some great news and sorry for those not so much.
BFN for us last month so onto another. 3DPO today and had bloods done to check if I ovulated so fingers crossed that'll be good news but at the least it'll be a little more insight.

@SarahShorty fingers crossed like the ladies say that this month is the one and saves you going any further with ivf 🤞🏼

@Bananatoast123 my cycle buddy for the last few- we've drifted apart this cycle. My last was late and really got my hopes up but it wasn't the one so a little later trying this month. Fantastic news so far, so pleased this one's looking like it really has potential for you. All my fingers crossed- I really hope this is the month for you!!

@Nypie very sorry to hear that. I'm sure it was a shock, have they recommended anything going forward?

Aw thanks @Anna531 it was just the results no advice, so were going to book a consultation for the both of us and I'll get my scan and blood works done so we can get the whole picture! Really hope your results are good! But it is nice to just know whats going on in your body.

Hey! It was a BFN this morning/ no progression 🙁 what was already a hard cycle has been more mentally difficult 😞. I think it’s either a CP or a bad batch of tests and I just get evaps!

thank you so so much everyone for all your fingers crossed / hope! I’m going to take some time out now from it all, not sure how long, maybe until we get test in January but I’ve let it rule my life for too long! If it happens it happens ehy!

I felt really sick again last night, to the point other half said “are you sure you’re not pregnant”….he never says things like that so it’s just got my hopes up even more, with another week to wait!!

@Houseelf90 I know I’m gutted! I knew during the night to be fair as I got my usual pms symptom of working up during the night and stirring, and my bbt has dropped to its lowest since ovulation. It’s due on Wednesday so will just wait for it to turn up. If it doesn’t then maybe I’ll retest!

my frustration at 9 months into ttc is not knowing if something is wrong as I’m ovulating each month and we are hitting the right dtd. But as we are young fit and healthy they won’t discuss it with us yet… the rumour of nhs waiting lists scare me too 🤣

How many dpo are you? Fingers crossed for you!!

CD13 today, third cycle of trying, and not testing this month! I feel like I’ve been way more chilled out! Apart from the fact that I decided to smush my car into a wall on Friday 🫣 luckily all is ok and it’s gone off to be fixed today!
so far we have DTD CD10 and 12, hoping for tonight and tomorrow ish, just trying to be way more relaxed this cycle and next cycle and then start testing again in Jan! I’ve not had any ovulation pains or signs of ovulation yet, ovulated CD15 last month so we will see! Hoping to just dtd every 1-3 days to try to catch the window :)

Not even a squinter. It wasn't FMU, mind, because not everyone gets a line first thing in the morning. Disappointed but not surprised. Could be too early, could have been an anovulatory cycle, could be sheer tough luck. I'm waiting for AF to appear before I follow up with the fertility clinic, so probably Tuesday or Wednesday.

@Bananatoast123 its so frustrating that they won’t help you just because you are young and healthy!! When I had my chemical I told a few friends and they couldn’t believe I didn’t need to have any tests or go in to see anyone, just a phone call and try again!!

How are you doing @Houseelf90, any more nausea throughout today? It does sound promising.

@Nypie really sorry to hear about the results. I hope you're both ok and that they are helpful about next steps.

Sorry to hear it was BFN @Bananatoast123. It's so hard to not let it take over your life. Hopefully Christmas/New Year can be somewhat of a distraction for you.

@BethSuz27 Sorry to hear about the car accident, glad you're ok. Taking it a bit more chilled sounds good, I've been trying to take that approach too.

After a sizeable drop in temp yesterday at 4DPO it's picked up (a little bit) today and I've been reading about secondary oestrogen surges - I didn't know that was a thing? Does anyone else get these?

@DesertSnow no more nausea today, but I currently have a bit water bottle on my back and hips as they are aching! That was the first symptom I had before my chemical. To be honest I would rather not have any symptoms so that I didn’t get my hopes up, as I just feel like I will get through this week and get a BFN at the weekend which will just be upsetting after getting my hopes up!!

12dpo today. I’ve started spotting this morning so I am hoping AF holds off a little longer so I don’t start worrying my LP is 11 days and that could be the thing that’s making things tricky. Do either of you spot before AF? It’s common for me for a day or two before a full flow but not sure if I should count the spotting as day 1 as it’s usually only when I wipe once or twice that day.

I had done a day 21 test and my results were super reassuring with 39 nmol/L which the range was 13-46. So I’d have thought my LP shouldn’t be an issue? whys it so complex 🤣

@Houseelf90 that does sound sooo reassuring!! I hope you don’t get to the weekend and get a BFN now, positive vibes only!!

@DesertSnow I had a significant dip at 2dpo and then it continued to rise. I think it was a “fallback” so yours could be that??

@Bananatoast123 thank you for your message the other day 💚 so sorry you had your hopes raised and then it didn't come through on the test yesterday. Maybe there is still a chance for you this cycle though, you never know. The spotting could be implantation? Is it bright red or not? I usually have spotting for 1 day before AF, I count the first day of full flow as CD1. Sending you lots of good thoughts

I don't have anything major to update. On CD11 and DTD every other day again.
I'm going to start my OPKs today (we were out at the weekend so missed them) and thinking of suggesting to my OH that we DTD 3 days in a row when I get my peak. I don't know if that will help.

I obviously hope this is the lucky cycle but if it is then I will have to tell everyone at XMas / NY (lots of people) as it will be so obvious I'm not drinking.

@LucyLoopyLu thank you ❤️ I think it is AF as I usually spot a day or two before when I go to the toilet (or TMI when I have a number 2)… I did have a thought where I was like maybe this is implantation! But my bbt has slowly been declining yesterday and today so unless it goes back up but it feels unlikely! It was like so watery and off-red/orangey I want to say but such tiny amounts!

I’ll go off that my AF is coming unless it doesn’t show by Wednesday!!
