@Welshgal85 - fingers crossed you're already pregnant, but maybe keep taking OPKs just in case? Last month I thought I hadn't ovulated and gave up testing by about CD21, but think I did ovulate about CD27 judging from my temperatures - but because I wasn't testing, I missed the fertile window.

I'm 10DPO but BBT has dipped today, and boobs feeling less sore, so I'm pretty sure AF is going to turn up on Monday. I was quite optimistic about this month so feeling a bit disappointed.

Thanks everyone, I’ll keep doing OPK’s and see if anything changes! Day 21 and still testing as low. I still have quite bad cramping.

I’m meeting friends for lunch in a bit and going out with other friends tomorrow but thinking I should probably not drink just incase so need to think of some excuses! They will definitely notice that I’m not drinking so not sure what to say!

@bananatoast hi cycle buddy 😊 I really hope this is the one for you!! I can absolutely see why you start approaching it like that though. It's all I've thought about the last week and it's only my first cycle. So my heart goes out to you doing this on repeat.

Sorry to impose on your thread, but just need a bit of support!

This is my first cycle trying and I ovulated on CD10 (Positive OPK CD9) so I am currently 8dpo…

I did a test this morning and I think I see the very faintest line on it but I’m also telling myself it’s line eyes!

These are my symptoms (I’m trying so hard not to symptom spot!)

Metallic like taste in my mouth that comes and goes
I seem to have a slightly strong sense of smell
really bad headaches at least once a day
I’m so tired I have to have a nap in the day
Hip pain, it’s kind of like a dragging sensation in my hip
yesterday I had a tingling dull ache in the left side of my lower stomach
for the past few days I’ve been craving everything but also not wanting to eat anything
I’ve also had strange nausea where the nauseous feeling sits at the top of my stomach or in my throat and lingers
I haven’t had constantly painful breasts but I get the occasional sharp tingle in them

i think I’m symptom spotting but I’m just so eager for a baby! I’m thinking I maybe implanted yesterday and that’s what the dull ache in the left side of my low stomach was?
has anyone else had similar and had a BFP?

I've been TTC for 2 months now, following quite a physically traumatic MMC ending in severe sepsis in March. I'm feeling physically and mentally ready now to try again for my first at age 28. @Anna531 Ahhh this is exciting it’s your first cycle! We will get there 😃definitely trying to be positive too! A few on this grid got BFP with no symptoms so that’s good!! When are you going to test or will you just wait to see if AF appears?

Hi all. Approx 13dpo BFN on wilko test which I took on a whim this afternoon. Af due Monday. Not feeling hopeful 😕

After being so frightened because my digital said not pregnant on Thursday and FRER was positive. I finally built up the courage to do another digital this evening

@SarahShorty some people can be so insensitive so sorry ♥️.

I had reduced movements this morning. I'm 24 weeks today and I know they say a pattern doesn't form until 26 weeks but they definitely have a pattern and they are active in the morning and today nothing got them moving. Phoned the hospital and the midwife literally saw me straight away she was so lovely. Both the babies are fine twin 1 was sleeping but think we woke them up 🤣 and twin 2 was having a party in there whilst their twin slept. The midwife did joke twin 1 would be my good sleeper and twin 2 a night owl 🤣. But of course as soon as I laid down on that bed I felt a kick which was reassuring but what little pickles! Just glad everything is okay!

@Anna531 @missmoosh @Mortima @PinkButtercups thanks all xx I've drafted a complaint to HR which I'll lodge on Monday. Hopefully the process for booking sick leave will be adjusted. If it can't be or won't be, then I'll just get into the habit of telling white lies. I hate all lies and liars, but if needs must.

DH and I had a row earlier today. The last 6 months has been stressful. The disappointment is hard to deal with, I've been obsessive and it's driving him insane. We're not taking a break, because frankly, there is no time given my age.

We never knew it was going to take this long given his parents got lucky very quickly, but we've learned the hard way that every couple is different and every situation is different.

We've decided to not talk much about TTC until the time comes to track LH levels again, because it's all too easy to end up focusing on failure. I've not spoken to him at all this evening because I don't want another row.

I really hope better days lie ahead.

@SarahShorty glad that you have drafted something to give to HR, hopefully they take that on board, so you don't have to lie in the future. Also sorry to hear you and DH have argued, it is a highly stressful time for you both, fingers crossed a good night sleep will help you both. Maybe a good cuddle is in order rather than talking, let each other know you are there 🙂

I'm not sure @Bananatoast123 I could test everyday but at 8dpo I know I'm wasting my time. It's still early but I think I'll do a cheapie Monday morning and see what it says and if it's a BFN I'll wait to Wednesday at 12dpo and try again. AF due on Friday by my app so I might resign myself after 12dpo to see if she appears. When are you thinking? Fingers crossed we're both celebrating by the end of next week x

@SarahShorty sorry to hear its all taking its toll. Its only because you both want it so much and its been so stressful on you. Better days are definitely ahead 💗

@Anna531 ahh I’m the same I am due on Friday too! I’m in two minds on whether to just wait for AF or test on Tuesday! I haven’t got any test in so I’m debating if I buy any ahead of then or not! I’m wanting to be really positive for this month but also don’t want to get disappointed! We will also struggle to TTC next month too as my OH is away over my predicted fertile window!

According to my Flo app I am officially late today, still no AF and still BFN...normally my cycle is 25-27 days and am now CD30. Do we reckon I'm officially out for this cycle?

@missmoosh is there any chance you might have ovulated later than usual? I’d probably just keep testing until your AF appears

@missmoosh agreed, your cycle might be off or miscalculated. I wouldn't resign yourself to no until its a no. But I know hoping can be the killer. I'm so hopeful this cycle and its so hard to manage myself to be prepared for disappointment. Hope your BFP is on the way.

@Bananatoast123 I've realised quite quickly that not buying them really helps. Having them here in the house adds to the torture and temptation to test. I really really hope this is the one and that when your OH's away you're on the sofa telling all about your journey and due date 💗

@Anna531 it does! And this would be the first month where I don’t test early so maybe it might not tempt fate! Thank you so much for your positivity 💕 I hope you get your BFP too and we can be due date buddies!!

Definitely out, AF has showed today a day earlier than expected, making it an 11-day luteal phase rather than 12 - not sure if that's something to be concerned about?

@Mortima I have read between 10-14 days is ok! I’m usually 12 days but have been less!
