I am a bit eager with this thread, I've just started my dreaded period (feel a little glum to be honest!) and I have been ovulating quite late, so if by a miracle I am successful this month I would be due end of may/early June. I have been dipping in and out of these threads and found them fantastic support so I hope you don't mind me carrying on the trend!

I am going into cycle 4, I am 31 and were trying for our first 👶🏻I suffered a chemical pregnancy recently and I feel SO ready to become pregnant, I want this so badly, as I am sure you all do too!

I was trawling through some old threads and found these facts that I found useful , feel free to read if you like 😙

1. 80% of couples having regular sex (2/3 times a week) with no issues will fall pregnant in a year.
2. 90% of couples having regular sex with no issues will fall pregnant in two years.

3.Each cycle you have approx 20% chance of falling pregnant.
4.The egg only lives for 24 hours so very small window to fertilise it
5.Decent sperm can live up to 5 days inside you so good to have sex before you think you ovulate as well as after.
6.If using ovulation testing the test picks up on Lh surge which often happens after the egg has been released.
7.Most NHS CCG will not investigate fertility problems until you have been having regular unprotected sex for over a year and some places insists for two years.
8.If you track your Basel body temperature it can give you a good indication of when you ovulate to get to know your cycles.

1. Some types of lube can damage sperm be careful what you are using. (We are using preseed but using it like normal lube, not inserting it prior!)

still spotting today (cd17, started on cd14) which is really weird… got light cramps too. Seeing GP about something else tomorrow so will try and bring it up but doesn’t seem like a positive sign so far as seems too early for implantation bleeding 💭

I’m 7 days late for AF, CD30 not really sure what’s going on… still BFN on cheap tests, planning to get a frer tomorrow…

I’ve had symptoms and not really sure what’s going on, I’m about 18dpo, and I know from my friend that she didn’t get BFP till 21dpo, but I feel like I’m loosing hope….

I would be 4 weeks 2 days today, could I still get a positive?

@Wrenegade @Babydust99 👋👋👋 I'm cd10 so 4/5/6/7 days a way depending on what my body decides to do this cycle. Trying to avoid stress at work but each day theres something new! Any ideas on how often you'll dtd?

Any more BFPs this morning? Feel like I wake up and check here for good news every day 😂 4 or 5 days waiting left for me 🤞🏼 (But if I get a negative I’ll keep testing 🤣)

Forget that, AF just arrived 😭 it should be implantation day but it’s proper bleeding so I really don’t think it can be implantation. Only ovulated 6 days ago though, is it possible for AF to be so soon?!

@Sparklythings1 is it a full flow? I'd see how long it lasts if it's unusual for AF to be that early. Will keep fingers crossed 🤞🏼

I've had the faintest of faint lines on a frer this morning - so faint it won't pick up on camera and I can't be sure if it has colour, so not trusting it yet! I'm only 9dpo so hopefully it's just too early and it will get darker in a few days. I'm 99% sure the faint line I had on the cheap Tesco strip test the other day was a false positive as there are hundreds of bad reviews for them (wish I'd have read them first!!)

@HopingForBaby2 that sounds promising 🤞🏼 I think if there’s anything there at all you’re bound to get a clearer line tomorrow!

its hard to tell because I went to the toilet like half an hour ago and there was nothing then went again there and there was (tmi) already blood on my underwear. It’s bright red and seems relatively heavy but hard to tell when it’s just started. I have watched loads of videos though where they think AF has arrived and it turns out to be implantation. I didn’t have any blood last time though and it does seem more likely it’s AF than anything else 🙄

Feeling pretty rubbish this morning as I’m 8DPO today and just tested positive for Covid. I’ve been reading how it can affect ovulation and fertility, so feeling a bit down now that it will affect our chances for a while 😔

@Sparklythings1 Ahhh no sorry to hear AF is here. I think I'll be right behind you. CD 29, period like aches, thought I'd just come on but was quite a lot of CM. 🙈
Negative test yesterday, last cycle was 31 days.
This is so hard isn't it?? 😔

@Cm078 yeah so annoying 😞 although whatever is going on with me this month would probably have meant it was impossible to get pregnant if I’ve got my period this soon after ovulation! I’d almost rather this than have to hang about waiting then waste loads of tests! It’s just frustrating you can’t be told in advance which month is the lucky one so you don’t get your hopes up 😂 I’ve now got two things on in October that would have been suspicious if I wasn’t drinking so I straight away thought ‘at least I don’t need to try and lie my way through that’ 🙈

@Babydust99 I ovulate anywhere between CD 12 - 15 too usually. I notice I usually ovulate quicker when the egg comes from my left ovary.

@Nypie I’m on CD 7 and AF left yesterday so we’re going to DTD everyday until ovulation is confirmed although I woke up with a stomach bug (I think delayed from holiday) not sure if/how that will effect things. Ahh wishing you lots of stress free days at work.

Morning Ladies, I'm 8 DPO and absolutely desperate to test! I might do a frer tomorrow morning with FMU. This has been such a long TWW and it's only my 2nd cycle!

@ExcitedandNervousC1 and @Londonlady22 welcome to the TWW, hope you are more chilled out than I am!

@Sparklythings1 what colour was it? bright red? I've red brown/pink for implantation, but everyone is different. Hoping it stops soon and that's a good sign!

@Sparklythings1 Me too. What cycle is this for you? Isn't it mad how some women get pregnant from a 1 off unprotected without even knowing when ovulation is and boom!
I think sometimes the more we "try" the longer it takes! But it's so difficult to not to because you end up thinking "what if"
I didn't test ovulation this cycle but now have just ordered a kit for next cycle because I'm thinking what if I was way off. 🙈

That sounds strange @Sparklythings1 your luteal phase shouldn't change by so much...did you ovulate early 🤞🤞 hoping its implantation.

@Cm078 Funny enough I started thinking about tristian (khloes ex) last night and all these women having one night stands with famous men and getting pregnant and heres me peeing on sticks and timing everything to the t. What are the actual fudging chances

Hi everyone, hope it’s ok to post here. Ttc but currently have a bit of a cold so I’m not sure if my bbt chart is reliable at the moment. It’s shown ovulation and I’m getting a high rise each day, currently 5dpo and having lots of yellow cm (sorry tmi). Good sign? Has anyone been unwell while temping and the chart was still accurate?
