I am a bit eager with this thread, I've just started my dreaded period (feel a little glum to be honest!) and I have been ovulating quite late, so if by a miracle I am successful this month I would be due end of may/early June. I have been dipping in and out of these threads and found them fantastic support so I hope you don't mind me carrying on the trend!

I am going into cycle 4, I am 31 and were trying for our first 👶🏻I suffered a chemical pregnancy recently and I feel SO ready to become pregnant, I want this so badly, as I am sure you all do too!

I was trawling through some old threads and found these facts that I found useful , feel free to read if you like 😙

1. 80% of couples having regular sex (2/3 times a week) with no issues will fall pregnant in a year.
2. 90% of couples having regular sex with no issues will fall pregnant in two years.

3.Each cycle you have approx 20% chance of falling pregnant. 4.The egg only lives for 24 hours so very small window to fertilise it 5.Decent sperm can live up to 5 days inside you so good to have sex before you think you ovulate as well as after. 6.If using ovulation testing the test picks up on Lh surge which often happens after the egg has been released. 7.Most NHS CCG will not investigate fertility problems until you have been having regular unprotected sex for over a year and some places insists for two years. 8.If you track your Basel body temperature it can give you a good indication of when you ovulate to get to know your cycles.

1. Some types of lube can damage sperm be careful what you are using. (We are using preseed but using it like normal lube, not inserting it prior!)

@FieldView I tested this morning at 10dpo even tho I said I wasn’t going to🤣 got an indent/evap so that’s what I get for testing early, going to wait for my period next time🤣

@ChloeN it's so hard not to, isn't it! Do you think you'll test again, or will you wait for AF? I might do another on Sunday as I've got a think in the afternoon where there will be lots of wine - would be good to know by then, and I'm thinking a positive would show at 13dpo?

thank you so much! I'm so nervous. In terms of what I did differently? probably loosely following the SMEP method - I guess having sperm waiting for the egg makes it easier? I also take a supplement called FH pro women but that's because I have PCOS, but the last two months I've also been taken an omega fish oils supplement as well - I read it helps women get pregnant faster and have healthy pregnancies! But tbh I think this also comes down to a bit of luck and I'm only just 4 weeks as well, such a long journey ahead of me. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you :). You're not even necessarily out yet - 10dpo is so early and implantation could be happening. Lots of people don't get a positive until 12 dpo.

Not sure anyone will be able to see this because it messes up the quality, but taken this morning CD30, period is 7 days late, I’m taking it as negative but feel there might be something there?

@FieldView wait for my period now I think! I dont feel like I’m pregnant this month so will just try and wait it out! Yes should definitely know by 13 dpo so at least you’ll have an answer and can enjoy yourself if it’s negative! X

we did have an oopsie last month that technically could have worked but this is our first month of properly trying yes :). I'm really hoping it's the real deal!

Hi ladies. Congratulations on so many bfps!!
CD 28 today. Mild cramps so assuming af is on the way. Cycle was 31 days last time.
Was only 1st month trying so wasn't expecting it to happen so soon. Was a bit lazy dtd aswell. CD 7,12,14 and 17. Need to up my game next month.
🤞 for any one waiting for AF.

Feeling really down. This is my first month TTC after weaning my 2 year old. I had an early miscarraige before the birth of my son so I hate TTC with a passion. I am 6 days late for AF with BFN. I know this is because my hormones are all over the place because of the weaning. I just feel so down about how uncertain and changble everything is. I am very lucky to have my son and I want to be cool and relaxed but feel really neurotic and upset again

@crumbs123 I know the feeling 😣😣 I’m not even due on my period but I’ve written this month off. I thought ttc was going to be exciting but after a mc it’s just not enjoyable right now

I know the exact same feeling 😩 … I’m ttc month 3 after a loss in may & tbh the only bit that kills me is the not knowing —
if I knew I would get pregnant again I could relax but the not knowing if it’s even going to happen is the worst 🥲

@crumbs123 does feeding make a difference to conception? I'm clearly in the dark here as I'm still feeding my 21 month old at present

thats me officially in the dreaded TWW! Hoping we have done enough, DTD everyday except O day as he fell asleep annoyingly, so today I’m annoyed at myself for not getting that final try in but also feeling lucky as he is away with work from today and My app predicted I would Ovulate when he was away so feeling lucky my body decided to ovulate a little earlier!!

Evening all. Cramps have started, and I've started feeling that sense of dread every time I wipe, wondering if they'll be spotting, likely to start tomorrow. I'm gutted. I know I'm not fully out yet but still, my usual signs are around now. I really do hate this process 😪 😩

i called my early pregnancy unit yesterday and I’ve to call back in two weeks to book an early scan due to previous chemical. I can’t wait to go and hopefully fingers crossed be reassured. That’s a huge milestone to me getting past the 6 week mark.

Only 5dpo and the days are crawling by! If implantation was to occur it would be from tomorrow so I was slightly considering having a glass of wine tonight just in case it’s my last 😂

@bubble55 that’s good! When will the scan be, 6 weeks or 7 weeks? I think il pay for an early scan again this time (when I get my BFP), my heart was in my mouth a bit though because I’d really built myself up that if there was no heartbeat it was fine because it was still so early but luckily there was! The only time that goes slower than the tww is the 8 weeks after it to get to the 12 week scan!
