Hi everyone ☺️

I am a bit eager with this thread, I've just started my dreaded period (feel a little glum to be honest!) and I have been ovulating quite late, so if by a miracle I am successful this month I would be due end of may/early June. I have been dipping in and out of these threads and found them fantastic support so I hope you don't mind me carrying on the trend!

I am going into cycle 4, I am 31 and were trying for our first πŸ‘ΆπŸ»I suffered a chemical pregnancy recently and I feel SO ready to become pregnant, I want this so badly, as I am sure you all do too!

I was trawling through some old threads and found these facts that I found useful , feel free to read if you like πŸ˜™

  1. 80% of couples having regular sex (2/3 times a week) with no issues will fall pregnant in a year.
  2. 90% of couples having regular sex with no issues will fall pregnant in two years.
3.Each cycle you have approx 20% chance of falling pregnant. 4.The egg only lives for 24 hours so very small window to fertilise it 5.Decent sperm can live up to 5 days inside you so good to have sex before you think you ovulate as well as after. 6.If using ovulation testing the test picks up on Lh surge which often happens after the egg has been released. 7.Most NHS CCG will not investigate fertility problems until you have been having regular unprotected sex for over a year and some places insists for two years. 8.If you track your Basel body temperature it can give you a good indication of when you ovulate to get to know your cycles.
  1. Some types of lube can damage sperm be careful what you are using. (We are using preseed but using it like normal lube, not inserting it prior!)

Wishing you all the luck in world for this cycle 🀞🀞🀞🀞🀞

I’m only 3dpo but getting so caught up in the idea that I might be pregnant.. impossible not to in the two week wait I thinkπŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈI’m thinking what perfect timing it would be to be able to announce it at Christmas and I’m running the London marathon next weekend so already thinking I would maybe tell my husband I’d got my period or something if I was to get my bfp in the middle of next week. I’d then carry the positive test (in words to save confusion 🀣) round the marathon with me in my gel bag and run up to him to give him it when I see him πŸ₯² getting so carried away with myself though. Going to have to take it as fine if it’s negative since running a marathon pregnant isn’t exactly the first thing you want to be doing but got too caught up in the tracking this month I just had to try πŸ˜‚

God this thread moves quick!

Haha @Sparklythings1 @NSx the cough syrup is benylin mucus cough it has guaifenesin in it which is supposed to thin the mucous in the body encouraging that fertile egg white cm. I swear a get more crazier and find more things to try each month πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. I also am trying to figure out how much times to dtd did almost everyday of fertile week first cycle did that again last cycle with 2x on most fertile days might try every other day this cycle...just to say we've done it all!

@Londonlady22 thanks for writting your feelings! Its our 3rd cycle as well, I'm mot even in the fertile week and alrealdy feeling out. Spent most of the day wondering if we should just give up for now go on holidays get married focus on the things we can actually make happen then come back to this πŸ˜‚. I didn't expect it to be so rough already. Hope your bfp is right around the corner.

Is anyone else not even near ovulation??

Tophy124 · 20/09/2022 23:46

Got AF coming. But on our way to see our new puppy!! A girl!! Not saying getting a dog is anyway close to the joy of having a baby, but wow, I feel so happy for the first time since we have been trying. I really needed a little baby to love on again and my son now has a little friend 😍

Wrenegade · 21/09/2022 00:24

@Nypie I’m also nowhere near my ovulation date, nine days out and counting down. The TWW is going to be loooong. How far out are you?

Mummyme87 · 21/09/2022 06:55

12dpo and bfn on a cheapie, which makes me out. I’m due AF tomorrow. 😞

Mummyme87 · 21/09/2022 06:57

I’ll still be on the June bus for cycle 13 however , if AF comes tomorrow and it was a successful cycle edd would be around 27th June

HopingForBaby2 · 21/09/2022 07:02

Morning πŸ‘‹πŸΌ

7dpo today and I caved and tested. I was having cramps (like full on period cramps) yesterday and all through the night in my stomach and lower back (poss implantation?) so curiosity got the better of me and I used a really cheap test this morning which was all I had.. I can see a really faint line but my partner couldn’t. I totally know it can be an evap line, I just wanted to know if others can see it or I’m going mad!?

Going to order a FRER and do it on Friday morning I think x

Sparklythings1 · 21/09/2022 07:14

@Mummyme87 you might not be? I only got my bfp last time at 12dpo on a frer so it could still be possible

Babydust99 · 21/09/2022 07:30

@Wrenegade @Nypie I'm cd 4 and due to ovulate in approx 9 days too 😊

ExcitedandNervousC1 · 21/09/2022 07:53

Hi Ladies

Been quiet on this so far as I'm frustratingly still waiting on my static smiley having had 6 days of flashing now! According to flo, ovulation was due yesterday but only flashing again today. We're DTD every second day though and when I Get the peak will go for every day. Worried why the ovulation is delayed as I was bang on time last month!

bubble55 · 21/09/2022 08:01

I’ve fallen into the testing trap again but I’m so anxious after my chemical 😫 does this look quite dark for 11dpo? I’m sure I got my dates right! Just so pleased it’s not fading. Boobs are absolutely killing and feel like AF is coming with these cramps. Didn’t have any of these symptoms with my first!

Looks good to me @bubble55 Congratulations!

jessie92 · 20/09/2022 20:19

Hi everyone, have been a bit absent on here as been away - congrats to all the bfp! πŸŽ‰
have had a bit of a weird thing happen this cycle (sorry if tmi). Am currently on cd15 and since last night have been spotting. Have not had this before but read it could be relating to ovulation spotting- has anyone else had this? Seems a weird thing to happen at an important time of the month!

@jessie92 for the first time ever, I had very light pink spotting the day after ovulation this month, and I got my BFP at 11dpo. Hoping it might be a good sign for you too!! ✨ 🀞🏻

ExcitedandNervousC1 · 21/09/2022 08:26

@bubble55 that looks good to me and I'm useless at spotting these things!!

ChloeN · 21/09/2022 08:29

@bubble55 looks good for 11dpo☺️xx

bubble55 · 21/09/2022 08:52

@HopingForBaby2 i see something x

Sparklythings1 · 21/09/2022 08:56

@bubble55 looks good, I only got my first positive at 12dpo last time so that looks dark. You could do the clearblue digital with weeks each week to see it go from 1-2, 2-3 and 3+? That made me feel better but I only let myself take them if I waited a full week between each

HopingForBaby2 · 21/09/2022 08:56

@bubble55 thank you for replying. Yours looks great too!

I'm not going to get my hopes up as I know it's extremely early to be testing. But my sister text me yesterday with what looks like her own positive too, so I'm praying mine gets darker in a couple of days as i just think it would be an amazing experience to be pregnant together and due very near to each other! X

bubble55 · 21/09/2022 09:09

How do the clearblue weeks tests work? I’m sure I read that 1-2 weeks on one of those isn’t actually 1-2 weeks and it’s further/less (I can’t remember!)

FieldView · 21/09/2022 09:13

@bubble55 I could be wrong, but I think 1-2 weeks is the number of weeks since implantation, whereas you'd be considered to be 4-5 weeks pregnant as the pregnancy is dated from the date of your last period.

LavenderWillow · 21/09/2022 09:27

@HopingForBaby2 I can see a line definitely! Not sure about its colour so could be evap but if it looks pink in real life could be it!!!

@bubble55 that line looks good!! fingers crossed it sticks!

@ExcitedandNervousC1 sounds like you'll have covered yourself with the DTD anyway, sometime my ovulation is delayed after travelling or stress so could be that! I've only been testing for 3 cycles but my apps have predicted my O day wrong every time! πŸ˜…

@Londonlady22 I feel exactly the same, only been going 2 cycles ut already feel like it's never going to happen! I know it's irrational but my brain gets away from me all the time!

@jessie92 last cycle I had spotting on O day, then some spotting at 9/10 dpo and I convinced myself it was ovulation bleeding then implantation bleeding and then AF came :( I had never experienced O day bleeding before, and I didn't this month either so who knows! Fingers crossed it's a positive sign for you!

@Mummyme87 don't count yourself out yet! It's not over till AF is flowing!

6 dpo today and trying not to symptom spot. I think I'll test on Sunday which will be 10 DPO, AF due wednesday so hoping an FR would pick something up!

Tophy124 · 21/09/2022 09:47

I think I’m going to take a break from the thread, as I’m finding it hard not to become obsessive about it all again, which I don’t think is helping. @Mummyme87 fingers crossed for next month! I will be right there with you, and hopefully that will be our month!

NSx · 21/09/2022 09:49

@Nypie that’s so funny have u tried it? Is it not easier just using a fertility lube?

@HopingForBaby2 i can see the line πŸŽ‰βœ¨ 8dpo is very early - do you have another test to try with ?

@bubble55 dont stress yourself out too much, retest in a few days if you need to..but your lines look lovely πŸ’•

@Mummyme87 its not over until AF comes, you said you’d had pink spotting which is a good sign, if might just be too early …

i’m 8dpo here and absolutely nothing to declare πŸ˜…πŸ₯Ή

NSx · 21/09/2022 09:50

@Tophy124 this is very normal - I felt like that when AF came and tbh the disappointment is hard to take when people around you are getting BFP’s it takes it’s toll on your mental health - know that you’re not alone in feeling like this 😩

HopingForBaby2 · 21/09/2022 09:59

@NSx @LavenderWillow thank you, I've just read the reviews on the test I had (Freedom - I bought them in tescos) and it seems they are notorious for false positives! I've ordered some frers and will test again in a couple of days x
