Two week wait, needing some company!

Hi everyone 👋
I've had two miscarriages, one in November 2021, and one in January 2022. Me and my partner have been trying for over a year. We have tried really hard this month to catch ovulation by using OPK's. I'm currently in the dreaded 2WW.

Anyone else out there in the same position? Would love some company in this tricky time! X

Hiiiii! I'm the same! I'm on day 13 of my cycle, so just halfway through! I think I ovulated early this cycle I didn't check with tests but I just had a feeling and had the watery egg white discharge(tmi!)
Me and my partner had sex 4 days before and then last night too.

At the moment my discharge appears to be watery still and I often feel like I've weed myself I'm not sure how normal this is but my last few cycles I've not noticed this before! I've read it happens around mid cycle.

Thank you so much for replying. I feel like I'm going crazy. After my previous pregnancies, I feel like it switched on a maternal instinct in me that I can't switch off and not having any children to channel that into is so so hard!! Hopefully this will be our month, we've worked really hard to try and catch the right time. I'm on CD15!!

Hi @SylvieArth and @BabyBx. I'm currently in the TWW as well - 4dpo and it feels like it's crawling along. When are you guys going to test? I think I'm going to try and hold out as long as poss. Also sorry about your miscarriages @SylvieArth, hoping for good news for you this cycle

Hi, I'd like to join you! I'm 1 dpo today so just starting the TWW.
@SylvieArth I'm in a similar situation, trying for our first child since almost a year now. 2 miscarriages, one in September and one in December. I was pregnant really quickly both times, but now it's taking so long... 😞
I think I will test at 11 dpo as I go on holiday the day after and I want to know before! But I will probably start spotting before if I'm not pregnant as it has been like since my MC, in that case I won't even test and just wait for AF!
Let's hope we will see some bfp here!! 🤞

@ArcEnCiel2022 sorry to hear your journey has been so similar to mine!! Wishing us all to get our BFP's! I'm either 1 or 2 days past ovulation. I tried tracking with OPK's but hard to tell when it happened for sure. Just made sure that we did the deed as much as possible around those dates haha. We'll see! I've been anxious about getting pregnant again after the losses but at the same time it's something you want more than anything. What a double edged sword!! How are you feeling? Ooo imagine having a BFP right before holiday.. haha how exciting! Xx

I'm sorry you have gone through that as well, and I understand your anxiety about getting pregnant again... I think in a way it's best that I didn't get pregnant to quickly after the last MC because I was feeling so bad, I think I would have been really stressed... Now it's still so difficult, but I'm feeling better about it, like more positive and hopeful, so I think it's time!
I know I ovulated yesterday because I can always feel it! And it was confirmed with opk. We have dtd every other day this week, so I hope that was enough! Also yesterday was my birthday, so I hope it's a good sign 😊

I'm curious, what does ovulation feel like? I know some women feel if happening and others don't. I did have some feelings this week but I didn't know if was imagining it xx

I feel like a sharp pain, only on one side, and it lasts a few hours. It's quite strong for me, I really can't miss it!

@ArcEnCiel2022 sorry if I sound really silly, but does the sharp pain mean the egg has been released? Then you have 24 hours really from there to fertilise? Sorry, its just I'm still trying to get my head around things. I too get a sharp pain on one side in the middle of my cycles but didn't know that could be the release of an egg etc xx

@SylvieArth I would think that the pain is the moment when the egg is released but I never found any clear information about it... But what I've noticed since I track ovulation is that I always feel this pain the day following the opk peak, so I really think it's that! But it could also be just before, or just after, it's so difficult to know what is exactly happening 😅 I would say if you feel as well this pain on one side in the middle of the cycle it's probably that!

I'm sorry for your losses and I pray for you both to be blessed and soon😊 Really trying to track ovulation but it is so hard. The 2WW really makes you question every twinge and little pain, the discharge, increased appetite, everything. 🥴 it is driving me mad! Xx

I'm so glad to of found your post! My app says I can test from the 8th June which will be a few days before my period is due! When is yours due? ❤ xxx

@BabyBx I'm due on June 10th, so will probably test from the 7th? Not sure whether to test early or not. I'm in two minds after my last chemical pregnancy. I know I won't be able to hold out though haha xx

I have 3 children, 1 of which is special needs. I had a MC in March and considering the challenges I've faced with my eldest was surprised at how it broke me.

Oh I know this feeling, you wanna test early but you don't incase of the disappointment seeing the negative and the way you really stare at the test to see if there's a line there haha it can be frustrating! Then the whole disappointment when AF arrives. I aren't sure wether to just wait it out and then test if late, are your cycles regular? @SylvieArth xx

According to my app I'm 1dpo too but I think I ovulated a few days earlier than my app says as I felt a little sharp pain in one side and lots of watery discharge. 🤞
I have 4 children so this would be my 5th baby - my youngest is 3 xx

@BabyBx fairly regular, it went a bit squiffy after my last chemical but I think if I let the cycle regulate I would be 28 days exactly. So tricky when you want it so badly!! Haha xx

@BabyBx feeling a bit emotional today. So many of my friends and family are pregnant and have these beautiful little bumps. I'm so excited for them but I'm struggling to handle my emotions in private. I just feel hormonal and weepy today 🤣 xx how are you doing?
