Hi all, I have figured out how to create a thread on Mumsnet and here goes... my first one.

This is a continuation of the two (!) full Jan threads so far this month - we're a chatty bunch and happy to welcome new folks. There'll probably be a February thread starting up soon too.

Hi, joining from the previous thread. I think I'm 11dpo but have been getting negatives, unless anyone can see a magical line (I think there could be the faintest thing ever under certain light but my eyes are not trusted!)

I think I can see an indent line :(

I'm in the same boat. I'm 11-12 dpo and BFNs everywhere for me

@BecLJ welcome!! I’d recommend getting the cheap ovulation tests off Amazon and doing one a day for one cycle. The majority of people have a 28 day cycle and ovulate on day 14 or thereabouts. Adding a graph I found useful of days around ovulation most likely to conceive on. For this purpose it helps to confirm your ovulation date at least once with strips. I recommend it as I found out I have a 30 day cycle broken 20/10 rather than 14/14 and without the handy wee strips I’d be none the wiser. Good luck on the ttc journey x

Hi all! I just read through the whole last thread. So many BFPs, wow! Congratulations to all of you and hoping to be a sticky bean and a healthy 9 months 🎉
I am pretty fed up with all honestly. A year TTC now, 1 chemical and an ectopic in summer that lead to losing one of my tubes. Additionally we have a friend staying with us for three months, so not much going on DTD wise 😆 but even though I knew it was so unlikely, AF hit me like a train this time. Well, here we go again. CD 3, trying to find out if my remaining tube is up for some work this month (or if we find a possibility to sneak in some DTD at all in the fertile week).

Still ttc number 1, two years in. Have been diagnosed with pcos and had two chemicals over the summer. This is our first cycle on clomid but I'm 5dpo and have 0 symptoms of anything so not feeling very hopeful. The BFPs are cheering me up though

No sign of AF but my bbt dropped this morning so I didn't even bother testing. So disappointed. I had it in my head this was going to be our cycle. I know its stupid but I'm gutted. ☹

Well, I spent 3-4am stressing out about this cycle. I usually ovulate on cd15, but am now cd19 and still getting weird bits of what look like ewcm every so often. I think this might be an anovulatory cycle which really sucks. I had a more normal cycle last month when I had covid ffs!

Oh well, I shall live vicariously through your TWWs instead.

@Curlywurly3 I’m 9dpo… it’s a morning full of tests here my 6 year old dd has just tested positive for covid… I’m wondering if this will affect my test? Xx

@Curlywurly3, I don't because when ttc #1 I went a bit nuts and drove my OH crazy with obsessing about hitting my peak. We caught quite quickly second time with me just using cm, but then I had a mc and since then things have been erratic. I might cave and use them next month.

@Billymay, oh no, I hope she's feeling ok. It shouldn't affect your test at all, and I've seen several folks on here get their BFP and covid at the same time with no issue with the pregnancy. Try not to worry! (She says, having literally been awake all night worrying... 🤦‍♀️)

@Mummy202102 I'm on 6/7 DPO so the same as you! No symptoms yet either and my temperature seems to be on a bit of a downward trend. When are you going to test? I am going to try and hold out until 12 DPO but just got a bit pack of cheap tests so not sure I'll be able to resist temptation!
