Hi all, I have figured out how to create a thread on Mumsnet and here goes... my first one.

This is a continuation of the two (!) full Jan threads so far this month - we're a chatty bunch and happy to welcome new folks. There'll probably be a February thread starting up soon too.

Will tag everyone I can see below... please join if I missed you!

#CD1
9th cycle after my miscarriage, which I conceive after 5 months

Shortmamashortcycles · 27/01/2022 09:58

@Nikkic2123, I'm so sorry AF got you, love. I'm on cycle 5 since my MMC now, and yeah... it's tough. You're not alone. ❤❤❤

It’s tough all right. I’m 42 now. Feeling like my days are numbered because it’s taking so long x

CJB92 · 27/01/2022 16:19

Another bfn today at 10dpo. Don't have a good feeling.. got this pressure down below, cm keeps going from creamy to ewcm. :/

CJB92 · 28/01/2022 18:36

Hi ladies if anyone is still here for January! Light spotting this evening when I wiped. But nothing since. I'm now 11dpo. Didnt expect the spotting because I had pink spotting on 3 or 4dpo and again at 5 or 6 then nothing since. So it's odd...could it be if it's random to be IB? AF is due around 31st predicted by premom and based on Ovulation. Bfn this morning on onestep IC and pound land, I thought had the faintest line but was so hard to see I put it down to my eyes.

Hope everyone is doing well! X

Shortmamashortcycles · 28/01/2022 19:12

@CJB92, Still here, hun. From what I've read, spotting in your luteal phase is often due to hormone levels shifting, not implantation, so it might be totally normal to have a bit of pink a few times - might be a good sign or just a normal cycle thing.

Those squinters are awful - hang in there and test again tomorrow?

@Shortmamashortcycles Oh so glad I'm not alone over here, thought everyone may have moved threads. I think I'm going to test tomorrow with a FRER then I'll be 2 days before AF. Its very strange. I dont usually spot between ovulation and AF, I am taking more vitamins this month, so who knows if that's playing any part. :) xx

madeleine85 · 28/01/2022 20:14

@CJB92 still here checking in every now and again. I'd love to see one more BFP, but bodies are just frankly weird and seem to like to mess with us! Good luck for the FRER tomorrow, i'm crossing everything for you :)

CJB92 · 28/01/2022 21:35

@madeleine85 thank you! Hoping in a way its not the start of AF otherwise mt luteal phase would only have been 10 days which is shorter than normal. I'll update when I know more but got a feeling AF may arrive soon :/ xx

TeddyBeans · 28/01/2022 22:34

Hello! Can I join the thread please? 1DPO first cycle 😊 I was on the conception buses when I had DS in 2018 and found them to be really helpful through the process!

LittleWins · 29/01/2022 00:20

Still no AF here and due today but BFN this morning so I expect her arrival over the weekend. Pretty sure the booster has given me another longer that usual cycle. I think I’ll be skipping Feb entirely so see some of you on the March thread :)

Shortmamashortcycles · 29/01/2022 07:19

@TeddyBeans, welcome and good luck, but this Jan bus is pulling up to it's final stop - there's a Feb bus up and running if you want to hop over?

@LittleWins, oof sorry to hear that. If she's got to show, I hope it's soon. Probably see you in March! Keep safe in Feb, hope it's as chilled as possible.

@Shortmamashortcycles thanks lovely 😊

kelsjx · 29/01/2022 07:58

Got my BFP yesterday after 2 miscarriages! 1 nov 2020 and the other April 2021! Very nervous

Hoping to get our BFPs in January - the story continues
CJB92 · 29/01/2022 10:40

bfn this morning with frer. Started spotting last night. Brown spotting this morning but its turned a little more red now. Thinking its the start of AF. Very down today, my mum messaged me saying she's said she's not a grand mother as her partner has just become a grandad today. I just ended up crying feeling like I'm letting people down. One of those days

ladybuggoldfinch · 29/01/2022 11:45

@CJB92 I'm so sorry that's an awful thing to hear. Does your mum know you've been trying? Sometimes people have no clue the impact of their words. Maybe have a heart to heart with her. Big hugs xxx

CJB92 · 29/01/2022 12:13

@ladybuggoldfinch thank you, and yes she knows. We had a chemical last month and told her I was pregnant just after boxing day when we found out. We have been ttc no.1 for 5 years. Sometimes I don't think she realises how much it hurts, and the timing was bad because AF just arrived and felt crap anyway, as I was hoping after a chemical , being more fertile that I would get a bfp this month but sadly not xx

Tinkerbell098 · 29/01/2022 12:27

@CJB92 oh I’m so sorry AF has arrived. Sorry to hear about that comment from your mum. You should tell her how it hurts you as she may not realise. My mum also used to say things like that which upset me. Now she knows what I’m going through so she has stopped. Although I hear things like that from my in-laws all the time which is getting to me a little bit.

CJB92 · 29/01/2022 14:41

@Tinkerbell098 thank you ❤ I think she doesnt realise how her words can hurt. She understands to an extent as it took her a few years to conceive me and my brother, but I'm now 29 and now the oldest in my family to not have had a child by now. Trying to hold onto hope but its hard after years of nothing. My in laws were rude also, but in the end they said vile things about our losses that we don't speak to them anymore. Some people are just cruel and some just don't understand xx

Cmac1890 · 31/01/2022 13:17

Hi all. Hoping this is my month.. Well February.

Do yous think this quite good result on ovulation stick... I've had more CM last 3 days and boobs tender. Done test today and seems pretty dark so hoping that's me peak ovulation day. Had sex every day last 5 days more than once however won't get chance again till Friday due to DH working away.

Cmac1890 · 31/01/2022 13:19

Ovulation stick done at lunch time today

Hoping to get our BFPs in January - the story continues
Tinkerbell098 · 31/01/2022 18:20

@CJB92 that sounds awful about the comments from inlaws. That's the last thing you need when you're going through a hard time.

@Cmac1890 that looks positive to me. Woo! 5 days in a row? That's a great effort! I'd be dead by now if I did that!

Come join the Feb thread as I think everyone's now moved over to there:

@Tinkerbell098

He's coming home on Wednesday so hopefully what we done before today and then Wednesday will give us best chance.
