Hi all, I have figured out how to create a thread on Mumsnet and here goes... my first one.

This is a continuation of the two (!) full Jan threads so far this month - we're a chatty bunch and happy to welcome new folks. There'll probably be a February thread starting up soon too.

I've been only watching the January topic as we haven't tracked this cycle... can anyone tell me if I'm absolutely crazy or something is showing here!? I'm absolutely shocked cause we only had sex twice this cycle, one time after another, without aiming at ovu because I did track! What the heck?!?!

Finally had my ovulation stabbing pains this morning so AF should be due on the 27th. I'll probably test on the 25th unless I start spotting before then. On to the 2WW!

I can see a line!!!! Keep testing to see the progress! To me it looks like a proper line, not even close to an indent od something.

Anyway, I’m on CD29 of a normay 28-31 day cycle, mostly they are 28-29 though. I tested this morning with second urine but bfn. 🙃 I guess no luck this month either. It’s been over a year now. 😔 No sign of AF either, so still waiting.

I think I'm going to throw up! What are the odds!!! We literally did it TWICE! After so many cycles of tracking 😅 I will update you when I test again. I can't believe it still and don't want to get excited too soon!

Got another negative opk this morning. They are solid but just not dark as the control line. I'm confused because ovia says I would have ovulated by now, bearing in mind I just had a chemical but that bleed was only a couple days later than my period would have been so I couldn't be that much out. My.opks were strong after the bleed but not positive so assume maybe they were picking up hcg, not sure. But I thought I'd be more fertile after a chemical and now I'm worried I won't ovulate at all!

Hi everyone, hoping to join you all if that's OK. Ttc this month, currently 9dpo. I tested clear blue ultra yesterday and saw squiter line then very convincing evap. Tested again and had the same. Used FRER last night and this morning and negative. So it was definitely a bad evap. Never using those tests again!

With all my other pregnancies (8) I've got a BFP on frer around 9/10dpo so I'm feeling out :(

We have some very difficult circumstances around our ttc journey, so needing a bit of support x

Congrats on everyone’s BFP and good luck to those waiting, I was lurking on the other post as trying to not get too obsessed but can’t help it haha - 7dpo and will test at 12dpo if high temps and no AF.

@melbxldn I'm also 7 dpo today and don't know why, but I tested this morning (silly me!). Obviously negative!

Been reading the previous thread all month, currently 6DPO on cycle #3 and wanted to join in! I have tracked my BBT this month, and yesterday at 5DPO I had a huge dip in temp way below control line along with cramps, I assumed AF was on her way, but then BBT shot back up again today. Trying not to get my hopes up as I know it's perfectly normal and doesn't mean implantation, but keeping all fingers and toes crossed is stays high 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I usually have a shorter lutheal phase but started B6 last month which I'm told can help, and then ovulated a week later than normal this month, so not sure when to expect AF really 😩

I took another one... I think that's it ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Seen a couple of people say they are ovulating late this month and just wanted to chip in and say that I also ovulated late and I'm pretty sure it's due to having my booster recently! I ovulate on CD15 usually but this month I didn't get a positive OPK until CD17 and probably ovulated CD18 - hope that helps anyone stressing about late ovulation!! I had my booster on CD28 of my prev cycle and had my AF after CD30 as usual.

@Tinkerbell098 i don't know! We skipped this cycle and I haven't been tracking! We only had sex twice New Year's Eve and New Year's Day so I'm guessing I must have ovulated around 1-2-3-4 January? I can't believe it still.

Currently on 2/3dpo! Does anyone have any experience with short luteal phases being an issue? I think mine is 9 days, max day 10s. Also my period is about 3 day, only heavy for about 24 hours of it. Im reading that this means its harder to conceive and easier to miscarry. Any thoughts? My anxiety is high :(

@ZoeH526 I have a 10 day luteal phase and got my bfp this week :) try not to worry. I have heard that taking a high dose of vitamin C can extend it a little, are you taking any vitamins?

@ZoeH526, I have a 10 day luteal phase, sometimes 11. Try taking vitamin b, vitamin d, vitex (800mg a day) and ask your GP to check your iron and thyroid levels.

You can totally conceive with a shorter LP but honestly I do think it's slightly harder. I've conceived twice though, so not impossible!

Is there a positive here? Or indent?
