Ttc #1 and cycle 1. Anyone else?

As title says ttc #1, cycle 1, 30 yo. I got my 1st flashing smiley this morning on the CB test.

Thought it would be nice to hear from other ladies in a similar position.

I’m confused what CD this is for me. I have another full thread on this so won’t rewrite it here but if anyone can help me on that thread (title: my first ever flashing smiley please help) I’d be grateful as I’m very confused. This may be CD10 for me or may be CD5

How are your new journeys going?

@Newbiemg I get creamy CM up until a couple of days before O, then EWCM for a few days then a mixture of creamy and watery until AF

I'm in so much pain today 😭 really struggled through a day of work zooms and heavy AF. Everything seems amplified this month but I guess it's part of TTC - I'm hyper aware.

My plan for this month: going to try (if logistics allow) to spread inseminations out more over my fertile window with a day's gap between each time. Gonna do a combo of BBT and OPK to track fertility. Going to have a contingency plan for if I ovulate late or early (me and my coparent don't live together). Also going to gently try and persuade coparent to get semen analysis done whilst I wait for my endocrinology appointment re: PCOS.

I'd also like to keep stress and caffeine to a minimum and eat well but we'll see 😂 today has been a coffee and chocolate and whatever gets you through kind of day.

I normally have creamy before ov and then sticky afterwards. Not this month though! Creamy after ov (mixed in now with the slight spotting). I have no idea what’s considered normal though! Hopefully your epic amounts of creamy CM is a good sign 🤞🏼

Argh sorry you’re in so much pain @lakejupiter. Having a vagina is bloody hard work (literally a lot of the time). Sounds like you have a great plan for next month though! Have you ever tried the calm app for stress? I haven’t personally, but heard good things

Hope you all don't mind me joining, you seem like an active bunch! I'm on CD 12 and according to Premom it is day 1 of fw. This is cycle 1 for us and I am using OPK strips although today they are still low even though I have had EWCM arghh! Don't know whether to DTD tonight or wait till tomorrow night as going to try for every other day but don't want to miss my window. My app predicts Ovulation on Sunday. I did plan on taking things chill but taking OPKs on cycle 1 is clearly not so chill 😂 predicted AF on 13th Feb. 🤞🤞

Thought I would add my chart too. Tested twice today and well as you can see it's not giving me much hope that tonight would make a different 🤷‍♀️

@Cookiedough123 hiya 👋🏼 I wouldn't worry - easier said than done I know just scroll through the previous comments and you'll see I'm flap central 🤣 mine were low until today. Literally changed overnight I really didn't expect it! Just keep testing and try not to drink too much as I found this affected my results xx

Welcome @Cookiedough123 ❤️ yeah as @Pops100 just keep testing (I try and do twice a day between 1pm and 8pm, and try not to pee for two hrs before I test) - it's a surge so may appear quite suddenly and disappear again by the next time you test.

Mine were low then spiked on two tests out of the blue and I ovulated earlier then the expected date. X

Oh yay! The TWW States we are! 😂 Perfectly exemplified by my inability to NOT take a test on 8dpo. Negative, obviously, but I had to pee on something!

It’s only 14.45 here so struggling through the final couple of hours at work. Anyone really struggling since Christmas? Motivation has been so low all month 😴

I lost my motivation waaay before Christmas, oopsie.
Going to book a few fun relaxing things to do while in February's TWW to keep me cheery/keep me busy!
Least hopefully not too long for you to go until home time and can relax
