Ttc #1 and cycle 1. Anyone else?

As title says ttc #1, cycle 1, 30 yo. I got my 1st flashing smiley this morning on the CB test.

Thought it would be nice to hear from other ladies in a similar position.

I’m confused what CD this is for me. I have another full thread on this so won’t rewrite it here but if anyone can help me on that thread (title: my first ever flashing smiley please help) I’d be grateful as I’m very confused. This may be CD10 for me or may be CD5

How are your new journeys going?

My ovulation was delayed by a couple of days this month which ended up being incredibly stressful 😅 as me and coparent are in different cities. thank god for OPKs!

Nothing to report here. Feel very PMSish this eve and my temp dropped tiny bit overnight so not holding my breath.

I'm trying not to stress as I know this can cause ovulation to not happen but then I'm stressing if it is gonna happen haha no winning here! 🤣

My oh has just recently been diagnosed with the mother fucker big C too, we had a meeting with oncologist last week about fertility issues that may arrive after his treatment so we're really hoping we can get pregnant before it all . They are gonna freeze some of his swimmers just in case we can't beforehand but really wanna give him some good news.

Oh gosh @Pops100, are you ok? That’s a lot to deal with. Glad to hear they’re proactively freezing his swimmers, but appreciate it would be amazing to give him some BFP news before then ❤️

Wow that's a lot to handle @Pops100 and can see why you're keen to get a BFP before he starts treatment. Really glad they are freezing his sperm too though ❤️

But good and bad days but more good. It's crazy how it all happened he had 0 symptoms and then randomly one afternoon after work he collapsed, had a seizure in the bathroom and here we are today! But we're both positive people and take every day as it comes, he's gonna kick cancers ass💪🏼💪🏼

That's really frightening @Pops100 but so glad he has you and that you are both feeling positive!

Haven't done another test. I'm on CD31 and 13dpo. My temp dropped again this morning so pretty sure I'm out. I also have a bit of an upset tummy and feeling very tearful which are classic AF signs for me. I'm surprised that I felt SO many strange symptoms this month - and still am tbh - weird twinges and cramps and the nosebleeds and stuff. Frustrating to not know whether I made that stuff up because I wanted to be pregnant or whether something was trying to happen in there but wasn't quite right. Either way, I am definitely getting on well with temping and find it reassuring so gonna carry on with BBT measurements. Not sure if I will bother testing tbh as it feels like AF is imminent 🩸

The testing urge is REAL. Last night I had to stop myself from going to the late night tesco to buy a test even though I knew it would be a BFN 😂

I mean that is testing territory @SMD16 but I also understand why you want to wait. I found the indent line/inconclusive tests very traumatic!!

I'm 13dpo 😬 Ovia says AF should arrive today, fertility friend says Thursday so who knows

I might do one of the strips, save the FRER for when AF is due which is Friday.

I haven't tested since Sat AM - after getting those very faint indent lines/inconclusive FRERs (and blank easy@home tests) I feel too traumatised! And now that my temp is dropping I feel like there's no point. Argh. I did tell myself I was allowed to test again today but I also have a super busy work week and feeling very emotional so didn't want to ruin my day by testing again. I just sort of have a feeling I'm out....

AF not arrived yet but she is due tomorrow, sometimes get a little spotting before she arrives and that's today!

Least we all have a few little extra tips/hints for next month too x

Oof sorry to hear that @SMD16 but still time. And yes plenty of us in the Feb club with extra tips 💪🏼 I'm going to try and avoid buying more FRERs for the rest of the day and also avoid crying at animal rescue videos which is my fave PMS hobby. Thank god for work, though I wish I wasn't WFH with unlimited internet access today tbh!
