@Juno231 I think the headaches is actually the buserelin. It seems that many people go on half dose after starting stims but mine seems to stay at full dose. Great. Yeah 2 weeks ish (might be less). I suppose I've got this far!
Yeah you are right. All our stuff was electronic really. He did watch the educational videos with me. But he hasn't paid much attention. He's got my protocol as it's in the letter (and I sent him copies of everything I had on my portal page, as he got much less sent through his) and yet he appears to have no idea how long anything will take or what's going on. I suppose mostly it does happen to the woman but surely they can look interested. Ffs. Will they be more interested when a baby turns up? That's the concern!

Can I hop on please? It's month 4 of TTC for us. Just started my TWW and I'm trying to stay calm and sane. I realise there are lots of lovely ladies who have been trying longer than us, but I'm getting closer and closer to my 36th birthday so the pressure is on. Wishing everyone all the best!

@Minster2012 I'm doing okay thankyou, plodding on! Can't believe how different this time round is though, I have to remind myself I did ask for this, I begged... so I have to take the heartburn etc on the chin lol, can't believe it's been like nearly a year a half on this bus! I have all my fingers and toes crossed for everyone on here! We know ourselves miracles do happen! And doctors aren't always right 🥰

We are off to the park tomorrow and today visited the local pet store so DD can see the hamsters and fishes 😄 hoping the weather holds out tomorrow though! Have a good weekend everyone xx

Sorry been hiding cos of pounding head & also guess what helps?? Not...our aga is being stripped today having not been turned off properly by the former owners it's flooded with oil & kerosene so my kitchen now stinks & it's permeating through the house 😩then hes just sprayed enamel spray...great for headaches. Anyhoooo

@McOrange wow you got a BFP first cycle not tracking, that's fertility 🦄status, hopefully your cycle will return quickly but like @DKDK123 says it could be a little bit longer after MC I'm afraid. Mine was messed up. On the ovulation after static it's within 48 hours, most ppl find it's the day after I think

@Franklydear are we sure you ever had the plot in the first place?!

@DKDK123 that sounds exhausting. I've basically napped for 2 hours today and that's my first daytime nap prob caused by the headache. Don't blame you for booking another scan. I'm tempted but going to try hold out

@paintfairy I couldn't do 2 years of no sleep either. The thought scares me. DS has been amazing with sleeping, I fear karma is going to get us 😬one of my friends has a child that's nearly 5 and basically has never slept properly. I can't even imagine 🤪🤦🏼‍♀️not can I imagine that woman going on holiday with Covid...it feels like we are heading for another lockdown 😕

@MrsBiddy I too have got skunk in my eye before and agree it's a bitch, did you actually tell them how you got it at work then?? Love it 🙌🏻we basically did SMEP for each cycle but due to irregularities of cycle I also had a couple where it was like CD26 & we basically couldn't, which was similar to @Somatronic followed a cycle of 24 days so I had no chance of guessing it would be that late! you'll get there don't lose heart

Just got down to @paintfairy's AIBU, and no YANBU, that's what mine was like. I swear you either have a bloke who is truly in tune with everything & WANTS to be part of it, stay updated, or it's just the opposite, disinterested. Anyway, I was always worried with the sims that it never seemed to get it all up, the mixture. But it worked so must have been ok. It's like @Juno231 says though, mine NEVER read any info and I had a massive go at him about it, Cos he didn't understand what was going on, or what I was talking about saying my fears. I said it was too much burden to shoulder alone. It does change when there's a baby.

@Minster2012 Hmmm.... embarrassing story...it's not sex related. I was on my way to a wedding (many moons ago) and I had to stop for petrol. I had squeezed myself into a bodice type top (the fashion mistakes I made in my 20's makes me cringe now) and it was riding up. I was stood in the queue to pay and gave it a gentle tug, or so I thought. The zip at the back snapped open and I had no bra on. I was stood in the petrol station queue, holding my boobs with the bodice on the floor! I had to ask the poor guy behind me in the queue to help me back into it and zip me up. It was mortifying at the time 😂😂😂

I've felt really out of sorts the last week or so and panic stricken about TTC # 2 that we won't even restart until Xmas (earliest) and keep deciding I'm in early menopause. Cheers brain! So I have decided to start temping again as it's that's relatively regular then I can't be in menopause.

And I have decided to try and do stuff that isn't possible when preggers. So lots of drinking, considering skiing in Feb, also seriously researching Botox as I'm a wrinkly fucker at the moment (although definitely worth as I have only been eating processed carbs and sugar as I've been feeling off. Obviously that doesn't help at all in anything other than the moment I eat it..!)

Hi guys I may end up not being very active on this bus, my mother in law has just been rushed into hospital, don't know the situation fully yet but she has terminal cancer amongst other things, so if it is the worst news I will need to give all my attention to my dh.

@Minster2012 yes - my friend has a 6 year old and she's still like it! I think i would have murdered someone by that point?
@larrythelizard I did tell him to fu** off and when he tried to come into the bedroom to talk to me I about shoved him out and shut the door. I swear if he'd have kept coming I'd have launched him. I was so angry. 🤣 He knew this, but appeared to be oblivious as to why?
@Minster2012 @Juno231 on talking to the acupuncture lady tonight it seems that men just are useless. She said that's the norm. And most only seem to pay attention as to when their bit is. I told her my friends DH was very involved and wanted to give her the injections and go to every scan etc. She said he was maybe a bit controlling in aspects of their relationship (and she's likely right). So I agree it's all one way or the other but actually I'm not sure I want it the other way. 🤷‍♀️ The nurse at the clinic yesterday also told me men are useless. So it seems to be pretty much an accepted thing? 🤣 Thankfully my headache has finally shifted with the acupuncture.

I started TTC last December, BFP February, miscarriage April and now 24 weeks pregnant after luckily getting a BFP on my second proper cycle following the MC.

Welcome newbies, hoping your ride is a short one! That corset story nearly made me piss myself (but TBF it’s not that hard these days with bump 😂)

Hey all, still following along. For any newer ladies on the bus I joined around April/May 2020 after months of failed cycles. I'm 33, I was TTC for 16 months (with 2 chemicals) before I got a sticky BFP. I've now just reached 30 weeks... I can't believe it's been 30 weeks already it feels like yesterday that I was on the bus feeling hopeless but supported by all the fab ladies here. I really feel for anyone struggling and having to wait so long it just isn't fair but please keep going - we all know it can happen even after such a long run of failed attempts, whether it be total luck or with the help of fertility clinics or IVF🤞

Sorry I've been bad at keeping up with posting due to a lot of work and house hunting but I'm still here 😅 without a house as yet but will keep trying.

@Juno231 how are you getting on still working on your own laptop? Glad work is quite chilled at least. More chilled and more money is a win! Must be good to know IVF is on the cards very soon now too.

@paintfairy that's not an unreasonable request since he could have held off until after since there's no urgency to return to the office... is it a guy thing as honestly it sounds like what my husband would do.
They just think it's easier to say yes to the boss rather than have to say no and start a conversation explaining anything. I've been WFH since the pandemic started. My boss got the team back in 3 days a week since summer but when I told him I was pregnant thankfully he didn't make me come in. Some of the team were remote before the pandemic though so it would have been unreasonable for him to reject my request and allow the other men to continue to work remotely. There's some other pregnant ladies at my workplace who have been going into the office which surprised me. I wouldn't mind it if I wasn't pregnant as it would be good to see some colleagues occasionally and have a change of scenery but it's not felt worth the risk to me. Has your man's workplace got any safety measures in place? I know England is different from Scotland we've always kept the mask wearing in workplaces (except at desks), in shops, on public transport, etc. Hope your appointment goes well anyway it's a shame you're getting extra stress from this.

@2020mission 30 weeks! I have to be honest and say it's a bit bitter sweet thinking of that as obviously I got a BFP just before you so it makes me think how far along I would be 😕but here's hoping you can find a house soon!
