The weather has definitely turned chilly, so it’s time to hunker down on that Willy 🍆

Its Halloween time full of ghosts and ghouls 👻🎃but will our f*ck boy bodies make us into the fools?

Come on universe we’ve done our time, we’ve had lots of tricks so give us our treats 🐣.

Whether you are TTC “normally”, IUI/ivf or anything we are a crew that cling together to the bitter end & always ready to help a sister out.

It costs an embarrassing story for your ticket, doesn’t have to be TTC related as we know laughing when TTC is needed.

@paintfairy the cold you speak of is awful! Dh had it n gave it to me about a week later. I didn't have it as bad as him thankfully tho, out the other end now with a stuffy nose still. Also had nosebleeds but think that's pregnancy related!
I know what you mean about the time flying for the pregnant ones on here. I used to think how are they having babies n I'm still trying! Thank god for ivf is all I say! Yay for starting stims and getting dates booked in. Wishing you all the luck n love in the world! Madness not getting a load of blue roll for the clean up 🙈 how annoying!

@becarefuloutthere i had half a dozen nosebleeds with my cold too! I thought maybe it was due to the nose spray. No laptop, they just use their own. New job is very chill so far which I'm happy about.

@paintfairy ooh how exciting! Could you just ask for tissues? I agree it's yuck otherwise. Will your scans be early morning btw? I do get worried about how to go about having so many appts without raising eyebrows at work...

Hi everyone! Gosh it's been ages since I posted!! But I do like to have a read and try to keep up every so often :)

Re introduction from me, I joined the bus back in June last year, I have pcos, very very irregular visits from AF, and a bicornuate uterus, had 1 mc end of June last year and these lovely ladies were a huge support and helped me get through it, I got my bfp in April this year and I'm now 29 +2 with another baby girl (my eldest DD is 4) and have just over 7 weeks til our little bump will arrive :)

I hope everyone is doing well! Half term begins for us now so trying to find ways to spend our half term haha any ideas welcome xx

@becarefuloutthere nosebleeds could definitely be pregnancy related. I had them all the time when I was pregnant before.

@paintfairy that's a bit pants I'd be asking for some tissue! Or take some next Monday, good news things are moving!

Evening all, just checking back in as I’ve not been on for what feels like a long time!

I’m 43 and doing IVF solo, had 3 pregnancies with 5 embryos so far and miscarried 3 times, in Nov, Apr and Aug. Now waiting for results of genetic testing from the last one to try and help with moving forward as I’ve still got 3 embryos left in the freezer. AF finally came back last week after 7 weeks AWOL, so it won’t be this cycle, but 🤞 for November…

@Juno231 I thought last time was an oversight but clearly not. There was nothing visible i could help myself to. I guess I could ask but you really shouldn't have to? 🤷‍♀️ Today I was off work anyway. But they do ask you what time (open at 8.30am I think) and I'm hoping no one will miss me at work when I nip off for them. We usually have a meeting 10.30 ish some days, but I'll be back by then.
@bez91 yeah I'll just take my own! Or snaffle some from the toilet beforehand. I mean- this is an expensive game! Provide some bloody tissues! 🤣

Quick re intro from me for the newbies. I'm 37, ttc #2 for 2 1/2years, 8 early losses all within the first 6 weeks, fertility clinic was as much use as a chocolate teapot and we'd totally given up any hope of having #2. However on the times ttc feels too shit and you feel like giving up I just want to give you hope as I'm now pregnant at nearly 9 weeks so touch wood this is our rainbow finally shining thru.

Recap from me, I've been here since before time, literally before we even started a rolling bus, TTC number 2 for nearly two years now, one loss last November, so another great anniversary there, have a wonderful boy, 11, and use this bus for anything and everything, cos where you gonna find more supportive sisters!

Evening all, thanks @minster2012 for the tips on using the mn chat, I have the talk app on android and for some reason it does not let me do the cool tips you suggested, such as bringing up user names when I type @ or the ability to leave the message and return to the thread to remember what people have commented, what am I doing wrong! Anyone else have this issue?

Today text typo/error consists of me messaging a friend who has just had a c section and had a few complications, I asked her if her cathedral had been removed, I meant catheter but as she has not replied yet god knows what she is thinking!!

Not sure how long I've been on, started TTC no. 2 in March, plagued by spotting in luteal phase each month so now undergoing investigations. 🕵🏻‍♀️ Got endo, so probably that related.

What a nice thread, you all seem so friendly, can I (tentatively) join you?

I had my first child in April 2020, and had an early miscarriage earlier this month. DH and I are 37 and 40 so think we want to get back on it ASAP.

As a result, I’m now educating myself on OPKs and all sorts. I’m on CD11 now (treating the start of MC as day 1) and going to track ovulation and see what happens.

I can well see how people get addicted to it and sucked right in. You get told when you’re younger how easy getting pregnant is but the reality is so different isn’t it.

@JonSnowsCloak welcome! This cycle I got my BFP I didn't really have any symptoms til I didn't want to drink my wine at evening of 10dpo which is very unusual for me! How do you feel?

@bez91 I really hope it clears quickly, I've woken with the most horrendous headache and it's awful. Only got a full day with DS basically at home as the guy comes to fix the aga. Mint.

Recap on me. TTC #2, DS born through surrogacy with my best friend. Been on bus since MMC last feb after 1st ivf, had 2 more failed ivfs then got natural BFP in April before next ivf, MC there then now trying to nurse a Sep BFP & currently 9+2 weeks taking it easy as I have a subchorionic hematoma so can bleed. 🌈

God my head is pounding 😩😖anyone want to entertain a 3 year old for me???

Thanks @Minster2012! No I never tracked before, we very luckily conceived on first go with child #1 so actually this miscarriage has thrown me a bit, fertility really isn’t a given is it.

I’ve taken my second day of clear blue ovulation tests and it’s given me a static smiley. How long after this am I likely to ovulate? husband is away with work today so hoping it can wait to shag until tonight!
