@Minster2012 yep we did the deed leading up to it, quite a lot really, not planned, not go my hopes up though!

@Franklydear hopefully they'll have got enough! They sometimes struggle to get my blood, say I have good veins but very deep so if I have a morning blood test I have to drink loads beforehand!

@Somatronic im sure they will! It's not like it's for a new bag or pair of shoes!

So weve booked a holiday for 2023 already, our friends are getting married in turkey that year in July, and all I can think is I hope I'm taking a baby (well kind of bur imagine how hot it would be for a baby!!) or at least pregnant, but not too pregnant because I won't be able to go, ahhhh, how pissing difficult!!!

@clolo lol cd 25, nearly late actually, the doctor said it wouldn't matter he only wants a baseline, code for checking for menopause me thinks

@Vil10 it was the week of "sex just for fun" which led to my BFP, just saying! And there's plenty of time for that BFP before next Xmas.

@clolo yes it's been lovely telling some friends as I guess similar to you a few ppl in the family knew anyway early so it's then nice to actually say something to others

@Somatronic @Juno231 TTC def makes you feel old that's for sure But I'm older & got there 🤞🏻**@Somatronic drugs cost us about £600 I think so hopefully not an extra €1000

@Minster2012 I assumed the drugs are included in the IVF cost. I flipping hope so anyway! The consultations aren't included, so that's a few hundred and they'll probably make us do some tests we've already done so that's a few hundred more. Freezing is extra too, and so are genetic tests so if we need them it'll be significantly more.

I'm getting tons of hate mail today at work because of something my boss said. People are actually insane. It's the most abuse I've gotten since I was an activist in the abortion referendum in 2018. Had forgotten how nice it is to be called a murderer and a Nazi. Different issue, same insults 😘

@Somatronic Def double check cause I've yet to see a clinic include the meds in the price! Um what the hell about the emails??

@larrythelizard yeah there's no point in thinking about it. I still laugh at how I was panicking about having a wedding in India to go to last November and how I'd be too pregnant to go or what about Zika... 🤣 And here I still am!

@Somatronic I'm sorry to say that the drugs are never included in the price over here, so I'd check. And you can easily add another £1200 on! My ovaleap was £300 a vile for the 900iu (had 2). I had a 450iu and 300iu in addition. Plus the menopur, buserelin, and pessaries. You can see how this adds up..... but everyone is on different things so really they'd struggle to give a flat rate price for it and just include them.

Well, I'm at least managing to go to the toilet. But I still had 2am trapped wind. And pains before I went to bed too. 😫 Its OK atm though and I'm drinking my peppermint tea. Symptoms seem to all be the same really, nothing to report. Other than my rhr hasn't dropped yet.....

@juno231 and @paintfairy thanks for sharing that terrible news about the drugs. Ffs! I guess it could be closer to €6000-€6500 without freexing/storage or genetic testing.

The hate mail is all anti vaxxers/covid denier types. Very unsavoury threats being made. But I'm used to it after 7 years in this job.

It's only very few ppl who choose genetic testing, so hopefully no need for that. Storage for us cost £350 per year, I can get our a tusk costings if you'd like?

@paintfairy there's a lot to be said for blissful ignorance & feeling that you are closer than you've ever been...if you want to stay like that it's a perfectly reasonable reason to wait for OTD even 🤞🏻pleased it's slightly better on the old 💩 front but the wind is horrible

So I enlisted mother to help me measure my boobs for a bee bra today, using molke's sizing guide as that's been recommend as being good, supportive but no wires for big boobs. It came out as a molke flexi Fit 34G/GG Or a standard bra size of 34G 😳😳I usually wear 34D/DD

@bez91 I'm not sure any drugs are cheap! But what you can do is get a prescription and shop around for the cheapest price. Usually the clinics charge a prescription charge of £50 or so. But one near me charges £250! Which is naughty..... Often people manage to get meds for 850 ish that would have been nearer 1300 with the clinic. Just depends.
@Minster2012 yep. Ignorance is bliss. Except for the wind. You can't ignore that. 🤣 Bloody hell to the bra!
As for titles, it's hard to think of one's that won't get reported. 🤭

I am still hiding my head in the sand and hoping for the best. I did POAS this morning and have attached the line progression at your request @blackcurrantqueen. It is looking good I think. I haven't had any more spotting since Sat night so 🤞 Sorry to hear about scanxiety. TTC and pregnancy is a hugely stressful time. Hopefully you'll feel better once you have had it and have seen your little one chilling out.

How are you feeling about the house viewing @Vil10? Do you have a good feeling about this one? You have sold your house already haven't you? We move in 4 weeks, so exciting! Also I think you did the right thing booking your holiday. I feel like I have put my life on hold so much. Hope you have your baby to take to Turkey!

@Juno231 Great news your have your trial embryo transfer this week. At least you are making steps forward. I know exactly how you feel, trying not to get bothered that another year had passed but being so fed up! I hope 2022 is your year!

Ouch about bloods @Franklydear. Do you normally find it so difficult? I have heard that drinking lots of water before helps too. Hopefully they can analyse it and see where you are at.

@Somatronic It blows my mind that people sit at home and choose to write and post/email hate mail to people. Do you have to keep it to show the police or anything or just get rid?

So whilst I am keeping my head firmly buried in the sand I do have a HSG booked for 9th December. When do you think I should phone and cancel? I am only 13dpo so there is a lot of time for things to go wrong between now and then...
On top of that, whilst I was feeling totally down about TTC, I decided to take some control back and have organised fertility reflexology. I have an initial meeting on the 26th November and then 4 sessions booked weekly in January. So I don't know when to cancel that too. I feel like cancelling it might be a bad omen???

@Bea14 yes, I have thin deep veins, even the guys in phlebotomy have trouble sometimes, while pregnant, an a+e doctor was taking my blood, nobody else could, and he decided to have the conversation to clean before baby comes, I had to explain that the midwives were using me as a pin cushion

@Bea14 that looks good progression so all good so far I'd say. On the hsg leave it until the day before & say you've just found out you've got covid. Not ideal but I get the worry so that's what I'd do 😬

@Franklydear I'm also horrendous veins as they can only use my left arm due to having the 2 sets of lymph nodes out on my right so my left side is basically useless to get blood
