The weather has definitely turned chilly, so it’s time to hunker down on that Willy 🍆

Its Halloween time full of ghosts and ghouls 👻🎃but will our f*ck boy bodies make us into the fools?

Come on universe we’ve done our time, we’ve had lots of tricks so give us our treats 🐣.

Whether you are TTC “normally”, IUI/ivf or anything we are a crew that cling together to the bitter end & always ready to help a sister out.

It costs an embarrassing story for your ticket, doesn’t have to be TTC related as we know laughing when TTC is needed.

If you see mention of Instagram I have a public account where a lot of people are linked too:
Minstermusings, and a few people have created new anonymous accounts to record their TTC journey/life stupidities m/general annoyances on…just don’t mention TTC on a personal account please!

Bumps & babies who want to keep track of us from our other buses 👀

I'm ignoring the click clack of knitting needles @Franklydear 😂

Franklydear · 11/11/2021 20:20

@Minster2012 certain things will take me ages, you have to give me a chance, that’s my goddaughter you’re depriving of bespoke items, I need to finish my bag first, not long now
@bez91 I am not against it per se, but if other couples need to wait two years, have a physical impediment and none of them have a child, it can’t be ok you’re gay so when you fancy let us know, maybe the answer is opening up way more for everyone

paintfairy · 11/11/2021 21:22

@bez91 agree the nhs is on its arse. The only risk if you are unvaccinated is to yourself. Not others. I think they want to destroy it to be honest. They've done the same with care workers and homes were already struggling for staff?! So what now? If they care that much about the welfare of the elderly, then they wouldn't be stripping the service.

As for the gay thing, that's ludicrous. I'm not entitled to bigger boobs on the nhs because I fancy it? I'm surprised we even get ivf on it, but I suppose if you have a physical issue you can argue its a medical problem. But they don't have issues? They want something that isn't possible. That's fine, but why should it be free? 🤷‍♀️ If you want it, pay for it. Is my opinion. 🤣

Franklydear · 12/11/2021 05:41

But @paintfairy that is what herd immunity is, vaccinate everybody and those who can’t have it are protected, we’ve eliminated many illnesses like that, and some are coming back as people are starting to not vaccinate children, vaccines is one of the better weapons we have, the nhs needs funding badly, specially the invisible services, the ones people don’t think about until they need them, mental health, the elderly, community services....

Vil10 · 12/11/2021 09:16

@kaylsd oh god what a rollercoaster of emotions yesterday must've been for you!! I'm so glad you got to speak to someone who understands it all and so glad you should be able to get the funding!! Hope you're feeling better today❤️

@Minster2012 still not over how happy I am for you, I mean I was going to be good news but seeing you tell us is just amazing, you're defying all odds and hurdles that have been thrown in your way and I love it🌈

@paintfairy @bez91 I agree with you both, Its not that i'm anti vax, I had the vaccines when I was a baby and I had my hpv vaccine at school, but never had a flu jab and haven't had my covid vaccine, and I'm not planning on doing either until it's out of trial in 2023 and we know more about the long term risks and complications, I understand why some vulnerable people and people with medical conditions would want it to feel more safe, but the amount of people I know that are double jabbed and have caught covid and been really ill and been double jabbed and passed it on is crazy! I'm 100% pro choice, and I think forcing and manipulating people who have worked so hard for and put so much money into becoming nurses/midwives etc is disgusting, it's against our basic human rights!!

On this gay thing, I also saw it on the news, it's a hard one I don't really know where I stand with it, I understand it's harder for gay people but surely they shouldn't just be given ivf on the nhs? Us girls have waited so long for that, everyone should be treat the same whether gay or straight!

So I'm coming up to ov day I think, flo has me at Sunday but I've had ewcm for a few days, think we're covered if it's always been and I had a nice surprise at 6:30 this morning too🍆 which I'm happy about because both me and OH are out tonight and not sure when he's home so I know we wouldn't have been able to DTD tonight! Hope everyone has a lovely Friday🥂

paintfairy · 12/11/2021 09:31

@Vil10 @bez91 couldn't have said it better myself. That's where I sit. They say it's safe but firstly how many times have things become unsafe? (Smoking, asbestos, thalidomide, sars vaccine even). The fact is often it takes years for any of these things to show as unsafe. Which leads me onto the second point of- no one actually could possibly know if its safe unless they can time travel! Time will tell. So it's a bit strange to sit telling everyone it is, when they themselves have no clue. So why should people be forced to have it? I can't understand how they are even allowed to force the issue when it is still in trial? Utter madness. But there you go.
And I'm not against gay people having children/ivf/families. But when we can't have them as women over 40 or unless you've been trying so long, or your partner happens to have a child from before (but you don't) which all seem largely unfair, why should they just walk in and be handed something that isn't physically possible anyway?

Juno231 · 12/11/2021 10:35

@Minster2012 🎉🎉🎉 baby minster is a warrior 💪 I'm so happy for you!

I'm with minster and @Franklydear - all for mandatory vaccinations 😬.

Had a big night out at the banqueting house at Whitehall last night, followed by clubbing until 3am 💃. Stunning venue - the ceiling was painted by Reubens! Bit tired today but got dinner with friends after work so I'd better perk up!

kaylsd · 12/11/2021 11:28

@minster2012 thank you for your assurance on the case thing hunny I didn’t realise such things existed! I’m really am so happy to hear about your little rainbow baby yesterday that you got some good news have you thought about telling many more loved ones or still wanting to keep it quiet with DH for now?
@Kirky658 it was a little bit of a shock for both of us but hopefully things happen for a reason and it may help our IVF special case for us to go ahead with IVF and hopefully be successful so then DH can arrange his operation to be pain free as he’s on hold with it for now

@becarefuloutthere @blackcurrantqueen @franklydear @vil10 thank you lovely ladies I’ve settled down now a little bit with it all I couldn’t bare being on my phone yesterday as I find social media hard some days as I felt a little bit like woe is me yesterday as we’ve never had much easy at all but then I think I know there’s worse off people than us , I don’t even know what it’s called what DH has got other than I know he’s got free fluid in his spermtubes lead by a cyst also in his sperm tubes on his left side bless him, note to self if anyone’s partners have low SAs and have known cysts try and rule out the cyst as a problem as we were told it wasn’t the route cause but now told it’s the main cause so just for thought for anyone who may be similar or us being a rare case who Knows! But thank you always the MN online sisterhood 🥺❤️❤️

@bez91 I think all systems are go, we have filled in our consent forms quite a few online referal forms from care, we’ve had the letter to say it needs to be started and completed within 18 weeks of this date, we are just needing more bloods for DH as nobody’s thought to check his hormones what the consultant wants and nobody’s ever checked my rubella immunity so I have that booked in Wednesday and then once they receive results they will schedule first appointment unless they don’t see DH issue as important factor and postpone us until middle of next year :(
@paintfairy no hunny, we don’t have children they did the referal earlier than 2 years TTC as we’ve been trying 19 month as my consultant at the fertility bit at our NHS trust believed we’d be able to get funding based on male infertility factor because of DH circumstances with this blockage issue and his poor SAs which are declining rapidly between 3 monthly intervals but CARE Sheffield didn’t receive half the information what the NHS trust knew so they rejected us based on poor SAs but they aren’t poor enough to have it before 2 years of TTC
@Juno231 that venue looks absolutely stunning 🥺❤️

Manifestingbaby · 12/11/2021 11:44

@Minster2012 great news!!! Bet that was a relief ❤ I'm sure you can talk OH into sharing the news soon. Great the haematoma is gone too!

@kaylsd oh lord that all sounds so stressful! Your poor OH. I hope you fly through ivf now so he can get sorted soon. What a rollercoaster.

Juno231 · 12/11/2021 12:03

@kaylsd gosh yesterday was a rollercoaster for you wasn't it!! I'm glad they're listening and trying to make it happen for you though, so nice when we normally only hear about dismissals

Minster2012 · 12/11/2021 14:27

Quick catch up in a busy day, will MN a bit before diving into going through 35 risk assessments 😂🤣

@Franklydear what the hell are you making that it takes 6 months 😂🤣curtains for the refurbishment?!

@paintfairy would you want bigger boobs? How you feeling now, pointy end of the the TWW now, has the stomach/Bowels settled? Can't wait to see what Belinda is wearing for the vowel renewals 😂😳and also last nights makes me want a random hexagon in the sand with flowers on it!

Awwww thank you @Vil10 and boom for early morning bonking! Both DH & I are not really morning sex ppl but we def like it occasionally 😂😊I was meant to be taking X to see my mate tonight & her kids whilst DH went to the pub but she's just said her kids are 😷 ill so in for me now, we have a very busy weekend though 🥳

Baby Minster appeared in a week of beef tartare, cocktails & outdoor sex @Juno231 so it's got spirit 😂that place looks amazing, I was hoping to see a pic of your dress on Insta, bet your looked STUNNING 😍

@kaylsd it's great they are on with the referral straight away then, like you say you can hopefully get it sorted and then fix a time for DH to get out of pain. I'm just gonna see how it goes with our friends at the weekend, I actually agree on not telling DS it's just I don't want him to find out from something/someone else, but we'll take it day by day. After speaking with MIL this morning I'm confident most ppl will hear it from her anyway she's so excited 😆 but I'm not bothered, I'm very lucky to have her she's a huge emotional support

@Amy00 how are you? It's been testing time right? Do you have a toilet door yet???

OP posts:
paintfairy · 12/11/2021 15:00

@kaylsd ah right. I couldn't work out why you weren't eligible. That's really odd. Because here, as long as there's a reason found, you are. Ridiculous.
@Minster2012 no i wouldn't. No good for horse riding! 🤣 And 1 week down..... I have so much trapped wind i think I'm going to blow up. 😫

@Minster2012 I've got some fybogel and I'm hoping this resolves. Its terrible. 🙈

feliznavidad2 · 12/11/2021 20:31

@paintfairy Fybogel friend 👊 also struggling with constipation here.

larrythelizard · 12/11/2021 20:36

Late check in from me, busy week!

Love the sound of your pupils @DKDK123!

Sounds scary @InkyPaper, hope your SIL is doing better now?

Oooh I'd seen about the baba @Minster2012 but not that the hematoma being gone, that's fantastic! Worth waiting for DH to be around for sex scan. Unless you do a harmony blood test now - I think they can work out the sex from about 10 weeks? No idea of cost or anything though!

That is a serious rollercoaster @kaylsd but I great outcome! I think crying was a very necessary thing. Your poor DH being in pain.

Looks a really swanky event @Juno231 - I'm jealous! My work events are just in normal bars!

How soon can you test @paintfairy?

I've realised the last couple of days that this is the 3rd AF in a row that I've had thrush at the same time, wtaf is that about?! Am stockpiling the canestan tablets as that's the only thing that seems to shift it.

paintfairy · 12/11/2021 20:42

@feliznavidad2 I've got the tablet version but it's a million quid. I don't think I could stomach the drink? I maybe need to find an alternative but right now anything will do. I definitely sympathise with you if you've had this a while!
@larrythelizard officially another week. 🙈🤣 But my body will tell me before that I'm pretty sure. I'll know if AF is looming, progesterone or not.

feliznavidad2 · 12/11/2021 20:44

@paintfairy It's been a week ish. I'm now eating prunes too, on the sachet rather than tablets here. I'm told cold prune juice can do the job too... 🤔 🤢

paintfairy · 12/11/2021 20:46

@feliznavidad2 🤮🤮🤮

Minster2012 · 12/11/2021 21:29

Hate to say it @paintfairy but I'm sure your fybogel friend @feliznavidad2 will agree that if you get your BFP it's not likely to get better 😜

@larrythelizard I was also laughing @Juno231's work event thinking hmmmm we sent everyone gokarting & burger in hull the other week, it different - how the other half live eh?! 😂😍yeah we've decided not to do the harmony/nipt test, unless my risk factors come back high that is...so will prob wait to do the scan. Is it worth going to the docs about the af/thrush??

OP posts:
paintfairy · 12/11/2021 21:34

@Minster2012 I know. And the thought of that is miserable!
@larrythelizard I've got it odd times after AF before but 3 times in a row seems excessive. Those tablets really irritate me too so I really hate resorting to that. Usually the cream works if I catch it early enough. But yours sounds more than that?

InkyPaper · 12/11/2021 22:01

@larrythelizard thanks for checking in ❤️ she's not, unfortunately, she's going to be in the ICU for a little longer as she's struggling to breathe. It's all just really horrible and we don't really know what's going to happen. Just taking each day as it comes

paintfairy · 13/11/2021 06:40

@InkyPaper that doesn't sound good at all. 😔

Minster2012 · 13/11/2021 07:27

@InkyPaper oh no poor SIL and you and your family, sending all the strength & love 💕

@paintfairy you'd survive don't worry if you hit the BFP! 🙌🏻

@clolo good luck with you scan today xx

OP posts:
Franklydear · 13/11/2021 07:35

@InkyPaper prayers and gg wishes for your sil, hope she gets better soon
