2WW anyone? Af due Friday

Hya all

I am new to mums net. I am currently in my tww and losing hope again for this month. My af is due Friday the 24th. I have no symptoms really! Slight bruised feeling in sides of my boobs, and yesterday and sharp stabbing pains in my pelvic area. That's about it really. Just feel like af will show again and it's not happened again. @FlyOnTheWall89 are these tests making you feel reassured or more stressed? Would you consider waiting until 12 months for more tests?

@Cruz86 I’m the same and I’m fed up of it. I’ve been to gp and gyno and all seems normal so I do think it’s possibly related to my covid jab. I know the spotting shouldn’t prevent pregnancy but it’s a worry

Have you had most tests to rule things out @Mama500? If so, that makes me feel a little reassured about my spotting!

I’ve had loads of test with dc1 and then more this time round with spotting and very heavy periods. It’s worth getting checked out if you are worried because it took me a long time for my referrals. I was only referred because I sometimes bleed after DTD

@Mama500 ye I think it's good to know where we stand at this point. There are not really any other bloods that I need taking now which is a relief. I have done loads of research on the AMH and whilst the result is deemed satisfactory/low reserve, when combined with normal FSH, it isn't too worrying. A lady posted on another thread that she scored 9 at 30 and that was before baby #1. Now she os pregnant with #4. So I'm feeling okay about.

This week must be a testing week for you @Cruz86 ?

When do you get the SA results @FlyOnTheWall89? Yes I did one this afternoon because I couldn't help it 😂 obviously it was negative because I'm only 7dpo! Got my progesterone test tomorrow too x

@Cruz86 oh good that is progress. When will you get the result? Ye 7 is a bit early haha but I think once the first test is done there is less trepidation about the ones to follow...! I think we get it at the end of the week. Fingers crossed for your BFP and normal -ish results for us xx

@FlyOnTheWall89 that's reassuring glad you're feeling ok. I've booked for AMH levels and have my bloods at GP later this week.
@Cruz86 I'm ok thanks had a really flat weekend but just waiting for AF to start and on to a new month. Big temp shift this morning so hopefully it will be today, I booked a spa weekend in the next tww to hopefully chill me out a bit 🤦‍♀️ I'm wondering do I just stop monitoring and see how we go.

I should get it by Friday @FlyOnTheWall89. I'm a bit worried I've left it too late though because of my short luteal phase but we'll see. Good luck with the results, sounds like we'll get them at the same time.

Oh I'm really sorry to hear that @Ladylou17 😞 the waiting around now must be horrible. I think I'm definitely out this month. My temp has taken a steady decrease so unless it shoots back up tomorrow, I'm just waiting for af now too! X

Argh my progesterone test has been cancelled because of sickness 😩 So now I've got to wait until next cycle x

It's so frustrating. I have managed to book a gp appointment for this morning though and will push for a full hormone blood test, plus a referral to gynae for the spotting. Temp is literally just above cover line. It has done this once already but I'm thinking this close to af being due is not good! Will see what happens with it tomorrow morning x

@Cruz86 it is frustrating let us know how you get on with GP, they should refer you to gynae if you're worried about spotting.
My AMH test came this morning but I need to wait 3 days for biotin supplement to be out of my system annoyingly so will hopefully do next week xx

@Cruz86 it's not a huge drop and looks like you had a dip midway which is positive, fingers crossed for you xx

Thank you for the encouragement @Ladylou17. Will just have to wait and see what happens tomorrow! Ah amazing, was that from Medichecks? I'm so annoyed because I thought I clicked the finger prick test but I actually clicked make your own arrangements for venous sample 🤦🏼‍♀️😂 x

@Cruz86 oh no! Yes it was, if you call them they'll send you some lancelets though if I were you I'd ask GP for some as they are tiny. Just make sure your fingers are nice and warm before you start xx

It's all okay, been sent for a blood test and I've had a referral to gynaecology! Why didn't I do this sooner?! 🤦🏼‍♀️ x

@Mama500 just had some spotting so AF on the way bang on time which is good. On to next month I generally start to feel happier when new cycle begins. How are you doing?xx
