2WW anyone? Af due Friday

Hya all

I am new to mums net. I am currently in my tww and losing hope again for this month. My af is due Friday the 24th. I have no symptoms really! Slight bruised feeling in sides of my boobs, and yesterday and sharp stabbing pains in my pelvic area. That's about it really. Just feel like af will show again and it's not happened again. Hope everyone is doing ok? Not sure if I've got my AF today or not 😬😔 had spotting last few days then it stopped. Thought I came on my period this morning followed by tears and general being disappointed but I went to change my tampon (sorry if TMI) and it was barely anything after 4 hours or so a little blood mixed with discharge. Still the same tonight only blood when I wipe and not a lot. Which is unusual for me I get quite heavy periods at the start. Has anyone else experienced this before? Xx

@Cruz86 I don't know to be honest, I didn't realise the lady was a fertility specialist until I was chatting to her in my consultation. I do think it probably helped as she has lots of experience in it. She also did some reiki on my miscarriage and the feeling of loss. Just overall a very nice and warm experience, which can only be a good thing in amongst the stress of ttc!

@Mama500 yeh going to continue weekly as I think its helping keep me calm and rational. May drop down to less regular sessions after a certain point though, will see how I feel I think.

Oh @Ladylou17 it's so hard not to get disheartened. I always had a big glass of wine and hot bath after a definite BFN before getting back in the saddle again!

@FlipperyGibbet I've heard so much about reflexology so think I'm really going to look into it now!

@Lucyasc I spot every month before af anyway, but I did still get it when I got my bfp before the mc. So it's possible! How many dpo are you now?

My temp has shot up today but that might be because I actually did it at the time I've done before 😂 x

How many days before AF do your temps start to drop @Ladylou17? I hope you're okay after that test 😞

Who knows! I won't be testing til Wednesday at the absolute earliest x

@Cruz86 it's normally the day of or the day before AF it'll dip below cover line.
I'm ok thank you had a little cry but on to next month hopefully 🤞 xx

@Ladylou17 I had sessions throughout so I don't think it's better or worse at any particular time. For my sessions I just told her where I was in my cycle and she did things accordingly, so in the week after I'd ovulated she didn't do anything ovary-wise and focused on other areas like blood flow. Hope you enjoy it! Let me know what you think!

So so sorry @Ladylou17, there is nothing worse than that brutal one line, especially mixed in with having already had what looked positive.

@Cruz86 how are those temps looking.

I didn't really come on here yesterday - such a busy day and had my bloods done in the morning. My AMH is 10.7 which I believe is normal - any insight guys? I know most of you probably haven't had it done, but thought id ask anyway! Xx

Hi @FlyOnTheWall89! Hope you're okay. Is the 10.7 in mg/nL? Have the SA results come through yet? Or is that more likely to be next week?

Temps are still high! But I'm only 6/7dpo so there's still time for it to drop. And I had more blood yesterday. Just when I wipe and not mixed with cm either.

@Cruz86 no it's 10.7 pmol/L which having done more research is actually considered low to satisfactory - there are so many varying ranges from all sorts of clinics. I don't think it's a disastrous result but also not 'optimal'.

So hard to tell because it could be IB, could be spotting. Keeping everything crossed for you x

I've bought ovum to start taking this month to improve quality my friend is about to start ivf and her consultant said to take them in the meantime as can help when ttc xx

@Ladylou17 😢. Now I'm researching having an antral follicle count scan. Would have to be next cycle as they do it between day 2-5. With all my other blood work, I'm hoping everything is still fine. I've read some threads saying ladies with much lower scores have conceived naturally.

Yes could you focus on egg quality to begin with @FlyOnTheWall89? Are you taking coq10?

Honestly, I have no idea what's going on but I'm sick of spotting every single cycle for 4/5/6 days before af. If my progesterone is normal, I'm going to book a gp appt and ask to be referred to gynae x

@FlyOnTheWall89 honestly I know you will worry but I think when ttc we worry about everything don't we. it sounds like a reasonable level I would focus on egg quality and see how you get on for a month or so xx

Hey @FlyOnTheWall89 I don't know if the amh levels on mine are in the same units, mine were 36.9 and written as 'amhr'. If you're able to, I would recommend a scan as we got a package with bloods, scan and semen analysis just for peace of mind. They scanned both ovaries and counted the follicles and also did a general womb health check too. It's so hard not to get into your own head, so maybe these tests would provide some reassurance?

That's the thing @Ladylou17, it is 'normal' for me in terms of it's been happening for just over a year now. Seems to coincide with when I had my coil taken out actually x

I think yours is a lot higher than mine @FlipperyGibbet ! There is another unit that it's measured in, but that would be a lower number, not a higher one. I worked it out earlier and it was 1 point something which again, falls into the just about normal category / slightly low. Yes, a follicle scan would be next. I've had all the other tests done so probs wouldn't buy a package but try to find a clinic that can do a stand alone test. We will know more once the SA is back and even after that, I have to remind myself this is cycle 10 and it could just be taking us a bit longer.

@Cruz86 yes we have both been taking ubiquol which is supposed to be purer/better than CoQ10 since beginning of Oct - the science behind it is quite minimal but I figured it couldn't hurt and it is regularly recommended by fertility clinics... as is DHA, which we have also both been taking. I'm glad I am taking it now!
