Hya all

I am new to mums net. I am currently in my tww and losing hope again for this month. My af is due Friday the 24th. I have no symptoms really! Slight bruised feeling in sides of my boobs, and yesterday and sharp stabbing pains in my pelvic area. That's about it really. Just feel like af will show again and it's not happened again. This was my chart for this month as well and when we dtd

I'm 5dpo 😩 I had spotting before my bfp as well but that obviously didn't end well so I'm worried that, even if we did conceive this cycle, it will end the same! I have my progesterone stuff ready to do and send off, so I'll be doing it Monday at 8dpo xx

Cruz86 · 21/01/2022 15:34

@FlyOnTheWall89 It was red, not bright red but definitely not pink. And I haven't had any more since. But I spot every month before AF anyway so I definitely think something's not right x

FlyOnTheWall89 · 21/01/2022 15:44

@Cruz86 how strange. I have no experience of spotting at all. Have you spoken to the doctor about using progesterone pessaries given your MC and spotting? I think there is no harm in taking them - I've read this on other threads so don't quote me... how are temps? X

Ladylou17 · 21/01/2022 15:53

@Cruz86 I would get progesterone blood test lovely just for peace of mind xx

Ladylou17 · 21/01/2022 16:04

I agree with @FlyOnTheWall89 about Pg pessary they won't do any harm but can do a lot of good. If I hopefully get pregnant again and had any bleeding I would ask my gp to prescribe early. The outcomes from the research is excellent xx

Cruz86 · 21/01/2022 16:10

Yes I asked my gp for progesterone when I fell pregnant in October, but they said it's not really needed and were very reluctant to do anything. I'll see what the results of my test is next week. Temps are...erratic. Will upload a pic xx

Cruz86 · 21/01/2022 16:14

Not really very consistent 😩 x

2WW anyone? Af due Friday
Ladylou17 · 21/01/2022 16:29

Thing is GP is naughty really because it is published guidance now- it's terrible we have to prod them about these things isn't it. Sorry @Cruz86
Do you do your temp same time every day?xx

Ladylou17 · 21/01/2022 16:30

@Cruz86 this is mine but I do at same time every day if I didn't I would have a variation xx

2WW anyone? Af due Friday
Cruz86 · 21/01/2022 16:32

I know, I was so annoyed @Ladylou17. But I think the updated guidance was published a few days after my miscarriage, so I had nothing to take as evidence it was needed! I just hope that they will listen to me next time.

No I don't, I really try to but my son wakes me up at different times 😂 xx

Ladylou17 · 21/01/2022 16:35

@Cruz86 that could be why there is variation I used to do mine at different times and had the same hopefully bloods will all come back normal. Since having a mc I spot one day before ovulation never had it ever before. I worry if it's jab related too but who knows xx

Ladylou17 · 21/01/2022 16:36

@Cruz86 I feel like GPs generally know such limited information about pregnancy related issues they aren't very helpful at all unfortunately xx

Cruz86 · 21/01/2022 16:40

It's so hard to do because if he gets me up at 5.30, but we don't normally wake up til 8, I have no choice but to do it then 😩 I guess I'll have to set an alarm for early morning so that it will avoid this problem. I'll try that from tomorrow! Your temps still look good @Ladylou17 xx

Ladylou17 · 21/01/2022 17:16

@Cruz86 I pop the thermometer under my pillow so it's the first thing I grab. Thanks not feeling hopeful this month tbh xx

Mama500 · 21/01/2022 18:44

@ladylou17 have you tested anymore?

@Cruz86 maybe your body is getting back to normal after mmc? I did bleed with both my pregnancies. One mmc and the other my ds!

Cruz86 · 21/01/2022 18:47

Yeah I think I need to set an alarm @Ladylou17! We're quite lax in the mornings because I'm self employed 😂 need to change that ready for him starting school in September.

@Mama500 I was spotting before the mc too 😩 when you bled with your ds, was it before your bfp or did it start afterwards? X

Ladylou17 · 21/01/2022 19:39

@Mama500 no but may tomorrow maybe. How are you?
@Cruz86 I'm lucky really as I have to get up early for work so it's same time every day 😂 xx

FlipperyGibbet · 21/01/2022 19:51

Keep going @FlyOnTheWall89, when I look back I can't believe its been 16 months for us (give or take considering the mmc essentially took 3 months out of the process).

One thing I did do recently and I truly believe it helped, was reflexology and reiki. I had a session today and told my reflexologist the news (not seen or spoken to her since last Monday, before I tested). She showed me her notes and she'd written that she thought I was pregnant. The process has really helped me stay calm.

I also took the vitamins Luisa Zissman talks about on her Maybe Baby blog. Doing these little bits made me feel better as time went on without a BFP. Just in case you ladies were open to trying these Smile

Mama500 · 21/01/2022 20:05

@ladylou17 wow well done for holding out. When is AF due?

@Cruz86 around a week before AF was due but only one day of spotting and then brown spotting on and off until 15 weeks

With my mmc I started spotting at 6 weeks light pink and I just knew. They didn’t confirm until 9 weeks

@FlipperyGibbet thanks for sharing! So happy for you. I also take these vitamins. I did use acupuncture for my ds which I loved but if I’m honest I don’t have the same disposable income now.

Mama500 · 21/01/2022 20:06

@FlipperyGibbet that’s also so interesting/ amazing about your reflexology.

Cruz86 · 21/01/2022 20:14

Do you have reflexology regularly @FlipperyGibbet? Is there a certain time to go during your cycle that is better for helping with fertility? I've just had a little read about how it can be good for balancing hormones so I was thinking about going next week if I can find someone, but that's in the latter half of my TWW.

Hm that's really interesting about your spotting @Mama500. Do you normally spot before af or not? X

Mama500 · 21/01/2022 20:15

@Cruz86 I never used to but the last 3/4 months I’ve been a bit all over the place

FlipperyGibbet · 21/01/2022 20:17

I went pretty much every week but had a couple of weeks break over Christmas. She didn't do reflexology on me the week before my fertility tests as it apparently would have messed with the results. She worked different parts depending on my cycle, so ovaries before ovulation and uterus after. Today she did a lot of pituitary gland work for the progesterone.
If there's nothing in it, I figured at least I get a nice massage once a week and an hour to switch off Grin

Cruz86 · 21/01/2022 20:30

Ooh absolutely worth it! Thanks for the info @FlipperyGibbet. Do you need a reflexologist that specialises in women's health/fertility?

How are you doing @Mama500?

Mama500 · 21/01/2022 20:37

That sounds so amazing @FlipperyGibbet will you continue throughout pregnancy.

I’m good thanks.. should be hitting my peak soon. How are you @Cruz86
