It’s been thirteen million years & Minster & the good time crew are still here…its September, autumn in full swing and we haven’t done too bad so far this month compared to previous months but I still think we are owed ladies.

Oh and we don’t just talk TTC, we’ll chat about anything. In fact that’s positively encouraged cos TTC can be bloody boring sometimes!

It costs an embarrassing life (or TTC) story for your ticket please then you can hop on board

@Somatronic sending hugs hunny for the blood & that women sounds like she could do with a odd little slap now and again to save the bitchy comments to herself 🤨
@minster2012 what an amazing ironing set up! I would enjoy it more if I had enough leeway with wires to do mine outside, I’ve got a lonely pile which has been waiting at least 4-5 working days for me to iron, just cannot be bothered getting round to it 🙈
@bez91 glad to hear they found the heartbeat 💓 🥺🤞🏻

Nothing to update, rubbish at work only got one more to go before 11 days off where me & hubs and pooch are going to tattershall lakes :) when I came in from work he got me a variety of candles / smellies that are festive inspired like the gingerbread one and spiced apple and a Halloween one what smells like blackberries with some face masks :’) he’s a cutie 🙊 sending hugs to you all xxx

I accidentally bought Xmas cards today. I did not however, get a birthday present for the soon to be 5 year old girl I was meant to be getting one for. Any ideas welcome

@bez91 oh bless you, I'm glad she found bub but you must have been so worried! Stay positive, everything is looking good by the sounds of it xx

Oooh that sounds lovely @kaylsd I'm sure you'll have a great time!

@Minster2012 ooooh elusive! We're one episode behind each time as I can't stay awake very late haha. And look at you getting festive!

@Juno231 I'm deffo happy with the result!

@larrythelizard definitely, so all in all, it looks like I'm relatively okay?? Prescription for shacket obsession- cut up all debit cards ASAP

@Minster2012 ooo really? I keep hoping because you got a BFP after having your day 21, then maybe I'll get a BFP too??😂 love the little garden set up! Love the Christmas cards😂

@bez91 Thankyou! SA was supposed to be the week that OH got assaulted but obviously he had to arrange so it's been changed to the 18th october so not too bad! That must've been awful to go through but so so glad it ended well, so happy for you x

@Somatronic so sorry lovely, that woman deffo deserved a slap

@Franklydear so sorry, it's just shit and unfair isn't it, sending hugs x

@kaylsd such a cute gift off your DH! I love festive scented candles too!

So I've learnt not to symptom spot because I always end up disappointed but here I am, symptom spotting, so my RHR isn't doing anything but I'm not relying on it at all this month because with being ill I don't think it'll be accurate for TTC, but this morning whilst I was walking I felt like af was about to start and felt quite periody and like it was gonna come all day but it hasn't, had a dull ache in my left ovary all night, not a pain I just know it's there and been very gassy, I think it's all just due to my progesterone rise because I'm about 7/8dpo, and I think I'm just hoping it'll be our month because I feel like we deserve it after all the shit recently! Not getting my hopes up but it'll be nice to be served some good luck from someone up there🤞🏼

@bez91 excellent news. Fingers crossed.
@larrythelizard I'm with you on that. But you're do you do it sat down? @Minster2012 Surely you have to keep getting up to put the clothes somewhere?
@Somatronic shite. Sorry.

And MAFS has gone crackers? Not seen tonight's though. I've a bloody massive spider in the hall and DH is out. Even worse, its now vanished. And it was above all the coats. 😫
I learned today that I have a heart shaped uterus? Its less than matters though apparently. 🤷‍♀️ So it's fine. And nothing else to write home about.

Fab news @bez91 - sorry it was so stressful for you initially though, bless you.

Sorry to hear that @Somatronic and @Franklydear 😖 😔

Still got a cold here. Managed to DTD smiley face flashing, smiley face static and smiley face + 1 so fingers crossed we covered the bases.

Got video consultation with private consultant on Monday and feeling nervous now, which is silly. He specialises in endo and fertility. Bled a bit today, not sure if was my endo cyst going bang (sorry, gross) or... the elusive 'ovulation bleeding' 🧐 🤨

Morning ladies

@Vil10 you gotta keep hoping 🤞🏻🤞🏻and we all try not to symptom spot!! Keep going darling!

@paintfairy MAFS has always been crackers 🤣🤣find that spider!! There was someone else who had a heart shaped uterus on the thread for a while I think. They said it wasn't an issue! ❤️

@feliznavidad2 hate colds, can you have a rest up now? Video consultation is a positive thing don't be nervous it's a positive step to getting your baby 🤞🏻

@Franklydear AF & cold. Bigger that's not a great combo, get yourself back to bed!

So I did the last of my "weeks" test today. 3+ so I'm really pleased. Last time pregnancy I didn't get that and it started going wrong, so that should get me through another few days 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻oh and DS shat all over his pjs. Positive and negative!

@Minster2012 I'm sure someone mentioned it only on the last bus but I can't remember who it was. Google (🤣) tells me it shouldn't affect getting pregnant. The issues come with pregnancy itself. Either miscarriages, breach babies or premature births. How great knowing that there's more issues to come. 🤣 But he did say its more of a problem if its over 10mm and mine was 6 point something. So let's hope it isn't a problem, like I don't have enough. 🙄🤦‍♀️

Lovely news @bez91, day by day right? Will you have another scan before you get to 12 weeks?

Ah that's lovely of your DH @kaylsd!

Ah fuck @Franklydear

Is she into barbies @Minster2012? All the girls I know of that age have loved the rainbow colour change mermaid barbies.

Can't remember who on here but they said to ignore all symptoms until at least 10dpo @Vil10 and I've tried to use that as there's been months I've been convinced and obviously nothing!

I think a heart shaped uterus sounds lovely @paintfairy - I have no idea if it's a good or a bad thing though?!

Oh that's a good idea @feliznavidad2, hope he has a magic potion for you.

Excellent news @Minster2012, less than a week until your scan too.

You ok ostriching @DKDK123?

I had a lovely mid week lie in this morning and didn't get up until 7.45!

oh @Somatronic I'm so sorry. and that woman sounds like the worst. and sorry af started @Franklydear it's so devastating isn't it

@Vil10 I also cannot resist the pull of symptom spotting. I'm 9/10dpo today, boobs are super sore, sense of smell is crazy high, and I constantly need a wee. but who knows if it's in my head or not (well the sore boobs one definitely isn't, I'm sure of that). But I also get sore boobs ahead of my period starting so now I've convinced myself af is about to start and I'll have yet another weird, short LP.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, it's such a cruel trick of the universe that period symptoms and early pregnancy symptoms are literally the exact same. like what the fuck???

@Minster2012 congrats on the 3+ weeks, that's an exciting milestone!

And so wonderful you got to hear the heartbeat @bez91

@Minster2012 yay for the 3+! 🙌 present-wise is she into LOL Dolls? My nieces love them

@paintfairy it's good that they're not worried about it at least - were they nice at the clinic?

@feliznavidad2 completely understandable to feel nervous about your appointment - it's hard to know what to expect after all. Hope it goes well!

@Vil10 it's so hard not to symptom spot! I do it all the time even though I know there's zero chance 😂

Hoping the IVF will contact us sometime in the next fortnight for our first appointment as it'll be 10 weeks since the genetic testing was done soon. Feels like we've been waiting forever!

@paintfairy haha it's funny how we keep learning new things after a bajillion scans... Did you like the clinic overall though?

@bez91 I had my great my in my throat reading your update but am so so glad they found a heart beat ♥️. Once you get to the heartbeat stage miscarriage rates plummet so hopefully this is finally your rainbow baba ♥️

@Minster2012 who irons?? I think I've ironed three times this year and it was a single item each time lol.

Right ladies I have my exit interview today and they sent me an exit survey yesterday to fill out before the meeting... I'm definitely burning all bridges here. I've honestly been so compromised working here as I'm a qualified accountant held to high standards yet have been unable to work with integrity here 🙊.

Got my new scan appointment etc from the fertility clinic for this cycle. Have lost all hope in letrozole now but that's probably a good thing because my hopes can't be dashed if they're not up. Can't wait for today to be over. I'm WFH tomorrow so it'll be much calmer.

@Juno231 good they deserve to be told 😆 let us know how it goes! I'm surprised most of our company finance team haven't moved on with the dodgy stuff going on during furlough. One has just finished her maternity leave and hasn't came back though. Hoping that will be me next year if I can find something else.

I'm also someone who avoids ironing. I can't reminder the last time I did actually. It's always only ever right before I'm about to wear something if it really needs it. Not going to lie... I've been known to quickly 'iron' with a hot hair dryer or hair straightener when it's just a small bit of creasing 😅 maybe I'll care more when it's not just for myself. I used to always witness my mum iron socks and pants and I think that's when I realised life is too short for ironing haha

@Juno231 oh my god. I would be bricking it too. But I think it's the right thing to do?
@InkyPaper yeah they seem OK. Whole thing is a bit weird with covid though. But the staff I met yesterday were nice and the Dr actually did my scan. Posher machine too!

So- had my phone appointment today. Most stressful experience of my life. It was a video thing and the quality wasn't great. The Dr is Asian and speaks fast so I just spent the whole time stressing it would cut out or I wouldn't hear him. Interestingly the SA - motility was 52% this time but the morphology was low at 3%? Ffs. But basically they'd do ICSI as they don't want to risk anything failing. We can start this cycle if we are quick (I'm on day 10 and would need to start busrelin, or however you spell it, by day 19). The nurse will call me and I've got paperwork to sort. What I'm unsure of is that we are away 2 days in October so I need to make sure that it won't matter. I've no idea how long things take so when they call I'm going to have to see what they say. He did explain everything- we were on the call for about 45 mins. Dr seems nice and he's funny. 🤣 My acupuncture lady said he's one of the best there so that's reassuring. I think it all made sense to me because I understand more anyway so I did have to explain to DH once off the call. He is still blaming progesterone for my spotting though. So they'll make sure they support that.
So- yeah, its fast when you get to this stage so if you don't want to go ahead quickly @juno231 then delay your first appointment! 🤣

Yes day by day @larrythelizard I'm waiting for the consultant to ring me back to see if she wants me to have anymore. Regardless I'll probably sort a private scan anyway in about 3 weeks. Super lie in, think you deserve it after your early gym sessions!

@Juno231 thankyou ❤️ you go all out girl on that exit interview 🙌🏼

@Juno231 that's amazing! You have to be honest about this stuff though. Definitely sounds like they need to be told - hope the exit interview goes well!

@paintfairy that's good to know, glad they're nice there. ICSI is what we'd be having too, apparently it's becoming more and more common. Holy crap it sounds like it doesn't half move fast when it gets going!!

@2020mission I never iron either unless I'm going out and something is super creased. I mostly live in jeans and a t-shirt so it's not really an issue 😂

@whatwonder it's through the NHS 😊 we were told it would take 10 weeks before the genetic test results came back and that the clinic wouldn't do anything before then, which can't be helped but it's frustrating to wait so long. Mind you, from what @paintfairy was saying it sounds like things move at the speed of light once you get to the clinic!!

@Somatronic big hugs lovely ❤️
