It’s been thirteen million years & Minster & the good time crew are still here…its September, autumn in full swing and we haven’t done too bad so far this month compared to previous months but I still think we are owed ladies.

Oh and we don’t just talk TTC, we’ll chat about anything. In fact that’s positively encouraged cos TTC can be bloody boring sometimes!

It costs an embarrassing life (or TTC) story for your ticket please then you can hop on board

Agency bus driver at the wheel.…

All aboard bus number 48

Plugging @minster2012 blog \\\___, we’ve had cancer, travels & ivf so need to get to the fun stuff, more ivf, surrogacy and more! #shamelessplug
minstermusings.co.uk for the blog that’s where the full stuff happens
& minstermusings on insta - some of our ladies have made special anonymous accounts so we can link up via me 🥰 so if Insta gets mentioned it’s there

If you want to sign up & get updates please do, please note your username if you comment shows up to others so maybe make it anonymous I won’t be offended 😂🤣(unless you are mean)

Thanks for keeping me tagged to follow along 👍 so happy to see some BFPs this month and hopefully all sticky!

@Juno231 I've not been invited for the flu vaccine yet. Neither has my husband (he's diabetic so always is). Will definitely be getting it whenever they have them available though. Are you having to pay at a pharmacy for it? Glad to hear it's almost time to escape your boss and start your new job!

Ahh so dogs are the key to getting good steps then 😅 I only reach about 7-8k on each day during the week as I'm in a desk based job. I always try to go for a walk at lunch and in the evening after work. I try to make up for it at the weekend though. My steps are worse lately though as this pregnancy has given me a compressed nerve in my right thigh that burns and hurts when I walk for long periods.

Juno231 · 20/09/2021 16:45

@2020mission yes I'm paying for it - I think my company has vouchers for it but they're so slow to hand them out that it tends to be a bit too late. At my old firm they'd give the jab onsite so I'm hoping my next one will do the same! It only costs £13.99 at Boots so I'm happy to pay for the peace of mind. I had the flu 2 years in a row back in 2015 and 2016 and it broke me so I've been having the jab ever since.

How are you other than the compressed nerve? How many weeks are you now/when's DD?

@vil10 Christ that's a lot of walks in a day, super well done! When WFH I go for one at lunch and one after work but that basically just scrapes together 10k steps. When in the office I tend to end up on 12k steps on days where I don't go for a lunch time walk/gym. Definitely easier on those days!

@larrythelizard thank you lovely lady 😘😘

Taking my seat for this bus with my discounted annual flippy flap bus pass as I'm very comfortable with my backseat although I keep sitting in people's seats for good measure with the lucky BFPs!!

DH has got his referral to urology and had to the update on the NHS app saying it's gone through today and to contact urology by the 3/10 if he hasn't already got his appointment with them, the doctor tried suggesting to DH to persevere and take pain relief although it would just simply mask the issue of the varicocele rather than sorting it out... after 208 times ringing the GP practice this morning he pushed for what he needed and it's paid off 🙌🏻🤞🏻

Evening all, just taking my usual seat out of the way as I’m CD1 after the last MC and still waiting on test results so not expecting my next transfer to happen in this cycle.
Everything crossed that this is a lucky bus for all passengers as well as drivers!

@clolo wahoo transfer Friday, sounds a great idea to get away!

Good news on DH referral @kaylsd it's good on the letters I've noticed that the last few times if not heard by X date. Let's you know if you're being reasonable chasing I suppose!

@Sunbird24 I find it's bitter sweet AF arriving after a MC. Look after yourself, have they said when results are expected?

Just a small print I love the title for this one, saw some beautiful shackets on shein but I've never ordered from there before, has anyone ordered if so what's the sizing like? & the ostrich party, for the gang of @bez91 @Minster2012 @Kirky658 baby ostrich onesie to be a maybe purchase 🤣🤞🏻🌈🥺

I'm here I'm here I'm here don't go without meeeeeee I was looking at a shacket (I wasn't!) I have a coatigan though, does that get me in the crew? It was 20degrees again today though 🌞

Thank you so much @bez91 I've made it on and into the ostrich brigade 🌈🐦, 2 more sleeps come on baby!

@Vil10 I don't do too far off 20k steps a day, maybe less now but that's awesome for most days 🙌🏻and hoping your bloods will show good things, and not just a shacket obsessed weirdo 😂

@Juno231 nearly there!! Keep going girl then get back on the horse, so to speak! I have my flu jab booked for mid October, my doctors are only booking in over 65s so I have booked my nhs one at boots & that was the soonest

Thank you for the app suggestions @Juno231 @whatwonder was it? And @becarefuloutthere I shall try that. I also ordered the Zoe Clark book today too

@larrythelizard you'd take CONSTANT nausea over an orgasm ban?? That's interesting. I don't think I could cope with constant nausea (my nausea lasted all of a day 🤣) but I think having it around constantly would be worse!! And omg I'm with you on the spilling stuff 🤦🏼‍♀️

@DKDK123 I am also with you on the terror this week, we can get through it! I shall look into the pregnancy affirmations & Evoke too

@Somatronic oooo 6 days to go that's not long! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

@clolo that's brilliant on the lining whoop whoop to Friday!! Can't say how flying would make any difference??

@Justanothercyster @Juno231 I was watching masterchef with Megan & even DH went "so is that a shacket?" In the final she was wearing a black thick shirt with a roll neck under...she must have been ROASTING!

You need a dog @2020mission, def good for walking

@kaylsd please tell me it wasn't 208 actual calls 🤣I've not ordered from shien but it's meant to be good! Must stay on the lookout for ostriches!!

@Sunbird24 how you feeling? Def look after yourself. How many embryos do you have left now?

@Juno231 I ought to but my surgery won’t get them until October, just laze about your last week, and hoping for a good maternity policy
@Vil10 I swear by vicks, keeps my sanity in winter
@bez91 yei, and thanks to @dollybird she found emkfit so I can have some motivation
@whatwonder I think we are on the same point of tww
@DKDK123 hugs and then more hugs, holding my breath with you
@clolo that is sooo cool, jealous
@Somatronic hmm, so when is the deadline, I decided to wait until cd30 but I feel periody and have a bad feeling

Report
Franklydear · 20/09/2021 19:26

@Sunbird24 I know it doesn’t feel it but that’s good
@Minster2012 I have big thick cardies, is that it? I have nausea with pms, I don’t recommend it all day long
I never count my steps but average 5k by 9 in the morning, but I don’t drive so walk everywhere usually fast as not to be late, on the weekends very few steps as dh is on hand to drive me around, call me miss daisy
I didn’t know I can book my nhs flu jab on boots, I’ll investigate
I think I am up to date now

2020mission · 20/09/2021 19:30

@Justanothercyster you're definitely not doing enough online clothes shopping to not know A/W 😆 I've heard of a shacket but don't own any... so far.

@Juno231 ohh that's good of an employer to pay for flu jabs. I suppose it's worth their while if it prevents staff sick leave! Definitely worth the money yourself to get it quicker and get protected though.

I'm 25+4 weeks today and due 30th December. I might be the only pregnant lady happy to be a couple of weeks late! I'm feeling fine other than the compressed nerve. How many cycles until you can start going for it again? Hopefully it's really soon.

Minster2012 · 20/09/2021 20:18

@Franklydear yeah I class a coatigan as a longer thicker cardigan that can replace a coat. Yeah our boots do them and are often quicker than doctors, as do a lot of pharmacies (both paid for and nhs) you just have to say what makes you qualify for the free one

@2020mission first babies are often late 🤞🏻and the nerve doesn't sound ideal 😬

I forgot to say that on Friday my hospital phoned after I had to cancel my mri on my knee & I have an appointment tomorrow to go back and see them so I think I should be able to get physio 🙌🏻

@whatwonder haha thank you!

@Minster2012 ahhh we're just catching up! On the pie episode atm and I'm hungry. How are you lovely? Feeling ok?

@2020mission hahaha I'm useless at shopping! Especially since I'm not buying anything anymore because of bump.

Thanks for the tag! Don't know if it's a good sign that I've been added to the bumps and babies list 🤔 do you know something I don't?! 😂

Happy Monday everyone! I don't have a shacket yet but I feel like I should buy one now..

I can't remember who asked about shein, but I bought some stuff from there and it was quite good to be fair, the leggings I bought felt a tiny bit cheap but I really like them and wear them a lot so worth it!

Can anyone give me their thoughts on this opk? Would you say it's positive?

@Vil10 and @whatwonder did you get your progesterone checked as part of seeing whether you ovulate or as part of next steps fertility treatment?

@Minster2012 great news on the access to the physio for your knee!

@Franklydear @Minster2012 now a coatigan is not something I've heard of although I think I probably have a couple. Good news on the knee @Minster2012 they sound proactive 😮

Shit sorry @gcat16 I've moved you on the 'list' they're all so long must have noted you on the wrong one. Hopefully you'll thank me at the end of the month 🤦🏼‍♀️

Shein verdict - very hit and miss. Got some nice pjs but I ordered 2 separate dresses that were the same style in the same size. One I couldn't squeeze a single arse cheek into and the other I could have pitched as a tent and slept in for the night, probably enough room for DH in with me too. So I've not bought since but would probably try again.

A 7hr drive to Newquay Friday morning and 8 he drive home today has been awful!! The kids now know... Pulling up a pew thank you driver @bez91

Silently watching the journey on the bus and keeping all extremities crossed for those sticking heads in sand / waiting on appointments / jobs and house exchanges. 6w 4d over here. Anxiety over no symptoms was rapidly replaced by sleep disturbances and morning sickness landing with a crash. First emergency vom at work today - and it was my only caffeinated cup of coffee for the day sob Sad

Here's hoping the wrong list is a premonition @gcat16 🤞🏻I would say that OPK is nearly there but not quite, hopefully tomorrow (but I would cover today as well ) 🍆

@Silver31 thank you, and omg I'd be so upset if I vomited my one proper cup of coffee 😔🤦🏼‍♀️

@bez91 does that not cover most shops?! I find sizing so wildly different on everything I generally hate shopping. Plus I've just spent an hour browsing lindex thinking I could use a 20% off code which I can't get to work. Hate it when that happens, i'm now too angry to order 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Lexber ooo Newquay nice! I saw you post on Insta about another trip at the weekend, wonders where to, that's a hella drive though and how did the kids take it?! 🥰

@Franklydear quietly hoping as every month
