@Juno231 @Minster2012 Drs won’t do a scan or anymore testing unless I make it to six months without a visit from AF. Will deffo be bringing it up with gynae when I finally get an appointment through. Asked Dr google more about pcos and I deffo fit the profile.
Been feeling extremely deflated this week but trying to convince myself to stay positive.

@Juno231 I'm either one day ahead of @DKDK123 if it's 8+3 at 26th may or 24th may if like the scan pictures I was given say 8+5 which is lovely as X's birthday is end of July, mine mid July & DH end November so a decent spread! (Not that I'd have complained at any date in the year 🤣)

@InvisibleDreamer good luck at the endocrinologist. I wonder why the tests have been ordered for after the appointment?

I got a text from my endocrinologist saying I've an appointment on Thursday but I think I'll have to cancel it because I don't think I'll have time to do my blood tests and have them back in time for the appointment.

I'm confused as to why she wants to see me. It's only been 6 months since I was last in and nothing's changed with my thyroid. I suspect it's to do with fertility and I'm feeling depressed to go back to her with nothing to show but 6 more failed cycles 🙄

@Somatronic the appointment tomorrow is one I’ve booked privately whilst waiting for nhs referral. The blood test is from the nhs - I just got a form in the post, no letter or anything with it to say whether I have appointment yet. Hopefully I can get the results back in a couple of weeks and pass them on to the private endocrinologist. If I need thyroxine or anything I’d rather not have to wait, am worried how long it might be for nhs appointment now after covid so decided to see the private consultant whilst I wait. Hopefully can then just carry on with nhs.

I guess they just want to monitor your levels in case anything has changed? I think my thyroid may be part of reason why I cant seem to get pregnant naturally. I wish there was some magic pill we could all take and be like ta-daa now we can all get pregnant.

Sorry I disappeared over the weekend, we had a last minute spontaneous night away! We'll kind of. We were due to go to liverpool to help OHs brother move to a different flat but just for the day but he was finishing work later than planned so we decided to go and stay the night. MIL came too and we spent yesterday walking around, eating and having some wholesome family time altogether. Was lush 🥰 and DD was an absolute angel bless her, couldn't have asked for her to be any better. She slept most of the day so I think the fresh sea air must have done her all the world of good 😳

Good morning! So I understand I need to share an embarrassing story in order to join?!
I am now at the start of my 2nd cycle ttc #1, last month as many do, I was obsessively symptom spotting, so much so that one morning I blew my nose a little too hard and ended up with a little blood on the tissue, my very first thought was 'omg its implantation bleeding' and did a little jig, before realising it was the wrong end!
Although no one saw me experience this brain fart, I couldn't help but feel embarrassed of myself!

Can I join now please?!

I'm feeling pretty bleurgh at the moment, can't quite put my finger on why - the weather, don't feel like I'm smashing this job just yet, another friend pregnant with her 2nd etc etc etc. DH and I are going to sit down and do sums when we get the time to work out if we do need to wait for enhanced mat or if we can start trying again sooner than that. I'm really hoping to start trying again at Xmas but depends on £££.

OH had his SA this morning, they said he should have his results back within 7 days! Broke my heart last night, he said "I'm pretty certain it's gonna come back thst I have shit sperm, I'm not gonna get down about it though, it is what it is", he's more than willing to do what he can to make it better if that is the case but there's nothing more he can do to make his lifestyle better unfortunately! All I'm seeing at the minute is people pregnant and announcing pregnancies and a lot of them or my friends. I had a little moan to OH last night and he told me I need to be grateful and appreciate what I do have as a friend of his saw him on Saturday night and is going through a bad break up and told OH that he'd kill for what me and him have, and I felt quite bad, I appreciate everyday what I have and i know there's people out there worse off but I just want a baby so badly, it's so hard sometimes!!
