Hi @MrsBiddy, as @Juno231 says it really depends on the location, they can also distort the shape of the uterus but that isn’t necessarily an issue. I had one but it was growing outwards and had it removed due to excessive bloating, bleeding and painful periods. It was 1.5kg and the size of a large orange 😱 at my early scan I was told they think they can see another but it isn’t anywhere near as large and doesn’t seem to be causing any issues. Wasn’t even mentioned at my 12 and 20 week scan.

@Minster2012 🤣🤣🤣 La la la. Yeah works for most people. I've even tried contacting more than one joiner now about the cost of putting new fitted wardrobes in. Can I get a reply? No! I need to know if we can afford to rip them out before the plasterer starts the bedroom. Fancy 5k ones are definitely not affordable to us.

So- I went to acupuncture tonight. The lady told me my contact at the IVF clinic is leaving. Which may explain why she's so impossible to get hold of? 🙄 Likely doesn't care. Helpful.

In other news- my spotting is yet to commence and that's strange for me? I'm starting to worry it's missing. 🤣🤣🤣

@Minster2012 that’ll be a great game, redecorate again again but without the effort!
We only have one essential comforter since birth, he’s been mended many times, and luckily dries quick, it’s been snatched from the line before, we got a twin for travelling as he’s been lost a couple of times but made its way back home somehow, once we found him back pinned on the wall of the train station, so now he waits for us at home

@Juno231 has work improved? Bossboy is being super nice and trying to have a joke and some banter again, sadly for him I found out by other channels that he’s done something wrong that he’s going to be made rectify and could complain about, if I was so inclined....

And I don't know? Either the buserelin is changing things and that might mean it'll delay AF, I'm secretly pregnant and the drugs are harming the embryo, or my cycle has finally sorted itself out, just when it's too late. 🤣 Are any of those good? 🤔😆 If it's the latter though- everyone needs to go get acupuncture! 🤣🤣🤣

And I can see him coming from a mile, I haven’t decided how much trouble I am going to cause, he knows I know too, but I haven’t said anything, so he must be terrified, he knows he is not my favourite person

@MrsBiddy as others have said it depends on the size and location of them. They're really common and most women that have them don't even know they've got them unless they've had a scan so I wouldn't worry too much. I've got 2 that are about 6x4cm that the docs don't bother with as they're higher in the womb and cause no issues, I have another 13x11cm thats at the top of my cervix, I can get pregnant the sperm can squeeze past it but it causes no end of trouble during actual pregnancy. The hormones during pregnancy can cause them to grow even larger so with DS they knew he'd be premature as him and the fibroid were fighting for space and blood supply and with it blocking my cervix they knew it was an automatic c section as he physically couldn't come out. But as they know about the fibroid they can monitor it during scans and just adjust things as necessary so don't worry. I think getting to the size of a melon must be quite rare as everyone wanted to come see mine as it was the biggest they'd delt with (had the 3 top consultants all in scanning me at one point) and that was only 13x11 so I'm guessing the massive ones are extremely rare if they thought that was big. Had DS 5weeks early but other than that (and lot of blood loss that they were prepared for so had the transfusion on stand by) he was perfectly fine so hope that reassures you.

Work has gone okay this week I think. I've done pretty much bugger all and I think the comms issues stem from my boss being so laid back that he perhaps just doesn't even give a crap 😅. I'm pretty sure he buggers off at 4.30pm at the latest and his messenger status is always set to away so no one knows if he's there. Today he's out of the office but never told me he would be! On the bright side this means I'm being paid a stupid amount of money and don't have to stress too much? Let's see how it develops.

@Minster2012 this month we'll have been here a year and we're still not at the stage where we can tender for contractors. Just sent our final technical plans in to be approved by an inspector. I'm honestly terrified of the material cost - I wonder if we should just hold off until it calms down? Without having sold the flat I'm still not sure how we're gonna pay for it all!

@Amy00 that's just nuts all you have to go through. I find the whole nk cell bit fascinating but my god I'd never thought about the practicalities of trying to counteract it! How's the house btw?

@Juno231 enjoy it whilst it lasts I say! Pretty frustrating though when you want to get into something. I hate planning and building inspectors @Minster2012 they made us step our extension back and down on the roofline even though similar extensions in the area they didn't 😡. Then I argued with him over 3mm (basically needed a handrail if the drop was 600mm or over and it was 597mm) so don't know his problem. Luckily it was during lockdown so got loads through by taking photos! Material prices are crazy at the moment.

I think it's good on the no spotting & I think you just need to chalk the pains down to similar stuff that we all do...Ie one of EITHER AF, pregnancy, PMS, the drugs you are taking, symptom spotting & it's all in your mind! Basically the same TTC shit we do every month whether someone is on drugs or not 🤣😂

@bez91 yeah I'm so not looking forwards to that, the architect thinks it'll be no issue. But course he's gonna say that. OMG we can't even think about material costs (well we have in that we've already removed the architects silly glass corners) and @Juno231 my husband thinks the same that the prices must come down, however I think it's at least a year away from that & it's all speculation 🙄

@bez91 the cheese is from a little deli near me & it's called "Delice" apparently it's been voted the worlds best cheese! So should be bloody good, and I got a smoked cheddar too (then a blue one for the others)

My stomach has been giving me gyp for about 4 weeks, I think it's the barrage of meds, regretting making peri peri chicken pittas for dinner 😣 whooooops. Also decorator is still here, they want to get it done before the weekend but you know when you just want them out of your house so you can tidy up after them 🤦🏼‍♀️

Found out tonight someone I know with an oopsie baby is now pregnant with oopsie number 2 when number 1s not even a year old yet 🤦‍♀️ It really is a cruel game why the struggle is real for those that want it the most while others can pop them out without wanting them!

I definitely needed this wee break away, currently just lying in bed listening to the waves outside the caravan without a care in the world. The most peaceful bliss I've had in weeks 💕

@DKDK123 enjoy your time away! Listening to the sea sounds lovely. And the people with oopsie babies annoys me. They aren't accidents usually, they just didn't use contraception. Clearly they need sex ed lessons. But yes it's very unfair! I was always so scared that would happen to me. Oh how I laugh now. 🤣
God @bez91 I'm struggling stomach wise. Think it's the drugs but I feel bloated and I'm constipated. I had some awful pains yesterday. I did manage to go finally but only a bit. I meant to take something to help last night but forgot. I will tonight.

I’m good thanks @Minster2012, and I LOVE delice de Bourgogne 🤤 triple cream is where it’s at 😂 my all time favourite is Vacherousse D’Argental which is also pasteurised although mould ripened so not sure it is technically allowed but I will be having some at Christmas 🎄 I’ve also been known to eat the odd bit of blue - I’d heard the firm ones like Stilton or Binham are ok but still try to cook them.

What a little cutie @Kirky658, growing up so fast! Hope you are starting to feel a little better now.
