It’s been twelve million years & Minster & the good time crew are still here…it’s almost September and we basically missed out August for BFPs so we are owed.

Lots of people have got new jobs, had time off, gone on holiday, moved house, but what we haven’t had is the BFP to go with it- what’s with that??

So we’re owed a bumper bus ride right? That’s how it goes surely? If you are looking for a community of lovely ladies who know how frustrating it is when your doctor tells you “all women ovulate on day 14” errrr nope, we know a bus load of women who don’t thanks very much 🙋🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️😆🤔then here’s the bus for you. Oh and we don’t just talk TTC, we’ll chat about anything. In fact that’s positively encouraged cos TTC can be bloody boring sometimes!

It costs an embarrassing life (or TTC) story for your ticket please then you can hop on board

Roll on September ladies, it’s time for tunics, leggings & pulling those tunics up for hot quickie action right??

All aboard bus number 47

I think I was under the influence when I agreed to take on this agency bus driver role 🍻 I endeavour to not drink drive…

Plugging @minster2012 blog \\\___, we’ve had cancer, travels & ivf so need to get to the fun stuff, more ivf, surrogacy and more! #shamelessplug
minstermusings.co.uk for the blog that’s where the full stuff happens
& minstermusings on insta - some of our ladies have made special anonymous accounts so we can link up via me 🥰 so if Insta gets mentioned it’s there

If you want to sign up & get updates please do, please note your username if you comment shows up to others so maybe make it anonymous I won’t be offended 😂🤣(unless you are mean)

got my flipflap bus pass for my seat 🎟🎟🎟
Hoping next bus I could be a clomid upgrade passenger but anything's possible! Will catch up after today hanging out of my arse from yesterday's BBQ and DH making me go out on a bike ride 🤢 pray4kayles

Hope everyone's have a lovely weekend xxx

2020mission · 29/08/2021 11:28

@Justanothercyster I think I'd have done exactly what your husband did 😂 I've had a lot of noisy neighbours from living in an apartment where all have balconies or terraces facing the river. There's a lot of late night drinking on balconies and a lot of the apartments being used as air B&Bs too! I'd be more likely to shout asking them to be quiet if it was a working night though and let it go on weekends. Reminds me of this sketch on Limmy's show (that I'm sure none of you have heard of since it's Scottish 😅)

@Minster2012 I'd go for a garden session but I don't think I'd be brave enough to go for public outdoor areas haha you definitely have a more exciting sex life than most of us! I'm down to once a week with the pregnancy. All these maternity programmes with woman tearing to their clitoris in labour is giving me the fear that it will never be the same again after!

becarefuloutthere · 29/08/2021 11:29

@larrythelizard haha no worries we've all been there!
@Crazydoglady123 hope today goes well! Can't wait for the reveal!
@Sunbird24 so sorry to hear what you're going through, there are no words 😔
@Minster2012 I'm willing the universe to listen but I doubt I'll be that lucky! I need 3 growth scans in the last trimester and they're talking of early induction so I doubt I'll get the awesome due date! I think because my bmi was higher than the average the baby is measuring big.
Ooh didn't know about that Barcelona player, will ask Dh as he's mad on football!
Haha they look well hidden to me, never fear!
@Juno231 would be lovely wouldn't it. My ocd brain really wants it!
Ah lovely scenic pic. I saw the pic of your friends baby, it's so bitter sweet isn't it, but as my mum always said to me "your time will come".

larrythelizard · 29/08/2021 11:36

I pointed out the chain of events of other things that needed doing and he went and got it done with little huffing so the nagging was worth it.

@Juno231 amazing sounding meal and blissful views. Always hard when people seemingly conceive easily. I have similar neighbours.

2 months?! Lol for mr bez there @bez91! Might spark a more useful conversation though?

😂😂😂 @Justanothercyster deffo blame pregnancy in some way!

Can you stop at a pub for hair of the dog rehydration @kaylsd?!

In theory I'm in for a garden session but we live in a new build estate so very overlooked and it's a small town so a definite no!

polkadotpixie · 29/08/2021 11:52

Hi everyone, just hopping back on to take up my seat on the new bus after a few days away

@Sunbird24 That sounds horrific Sad I'm so sorry for your loss and hope you're feeling better now you've had the surgery

@Dollybird89 Congratulations on the new job! 🎉

I'm on CD6 now, still spotting but I think I got off pretty lightly as it was just like a period overall, heavier than usual and with some clots but not too bad. I was only 5+2 when I miscarried so I guess I was lucky it happened early (obviously not 'lucky' but you know what I mean!). I've been discharged from EPU now as my most recent bloods showed my HCG has dropped to 6 and I don't feel pregnant anymore, no more nausea or sore nipples and my BBT and RHR have dropped so things are definitely getting back to normal...FRER was still positive at a HCG level of 6 btw, they really are that sensitive!

The nurse said we shouldn't try this cycle but the only real reason she gave was that it makes it easier for dating a pregnancy if you get pregnant straight away (haha, yeah right!) but I've heard you're more fertile after a MC and I don't want to waste a cycle...I'm feeling okay, a bit snappy and I'm very tired and feeling a bit run down and achy but not too bad. What's the general consensus on TTC straight away?

Bundaberg84 · 29/08/2021 11:53

My cb monitor showed high today, it should have been peak. Hopefully the peak is going to be tomorrow as I only have two sticks left 🙈 and if it's not tomorrow it means it's an unusual irregular cycle...who knows when it's going to happen then.

Bundaberg84 · 29/08/2021 11:55

@polkadotpixie we didn't wait after the early MC last time.

Justanothercyster · 29/08/2021 12:03

@paintfairy I know!

@Minster2012 haha brilliant. We've never actually met them so I don't think we need to worry too much 😂

@2020mission haha that sketch is brilliant! Ah no, weekend or not I need what little sleep I can manage between being uncomfortable and having restless legs 🙈 worse when I've got the screaming one to contend with- maybe I'll pop it outside their window... 🙄

@polkadotpixie you just have to make sure you're ready, if you are then I'd go for it. I'm sure there's some scientific reason people wait but I'd be too impatient! Just make sure you're emotionally ok x

Franklydear · 29/08/2021 12:11

@polkadotpixie the only reason is to have a period to date the pregnancy from, sod it, I say
I thought af was coming a tiny bit of tinge on cm but no,not yet
Ds has a playdate this afternoon, so we will be home alone, we are too tired to do anything

Sunbird24 · 29/08/2021 12:28

Thanks for all the supportive messages, it did help with a rather traumatic night! They took away everything I’d passed before the surgery and weighed it - 1.4kg of just blood clots Envy (not envy) It brought down the blood loss estimate to about a litre and a half.
But the good news is they got an embryo during the op, so that’s gone off for testing! I’ve felt so much better today, but can’t go home until they give me a blood thinner, remove both my elbow cannulas, and I’ve had 3 wees (they took my catheter out after breakfast)
The nurses have all been so lovely - one that first got hold of me told me she’d had a haemorrhage too, and now has a little one after a few miscarriages, and another nurse on the ward I’m on now is having NHS treatment at my clinic and also struggling.
I hope everyone is doing ok, sending pink vibes to @Crazydoglady123 as requested!

DiscoStusMoonboots · 29/08/2021 12:36

Ooh mind if I join? 35, PCOS and waiting for hospital appointment for potential Clomid/IVF. But have been pregnant twice before, so the consultant has told us to "keep going" in the meantime. Been a year now, but hopefully some good news in the not too distant future!

Justanothercyster · 29/08/2021 12:48

@Sunbird24 oh bless you that sounds so difficult :( lots of hugs and rest up x

@DiscoStusMoonboots welcome :) I hope things start rolling for you. I have pcos and dh had bad sperm, and we got our bfp after 18 months, so don't lose hope 🤞🏼 it's very frustrating though I know. Good luck! X

Franklydear · 29/08/2021 12:52

@Sunbird24 get better and home soon, only silver lining, they can do some analysis now, hope to get some answers

Lots of newbies, get chatting ladies
No sign of af, a few funny cramps, but none the wiser, is it weird that it annoys me a bit af wasn't here? it's gonna be cd 30 spotting isn't it?

DKDK123 · 29/08/2021 13:14

Not sure if it's just the news scare mongering but if not it could effect waiting time for fertility bloods so thought I'd mention it for those sitting on the fence about starting appointments it might be best to get your name down now as it could be a long wait before your bloods are actually done.
www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-58374553

Just offered SIL (due in Oct) all of DS's baby stuff that we'd kept up the loft for #2. A stab of sadness at the thought of giving it away but did far better than I was expecting, another baby step forward in acceptance.

larrythelizard · 29/08/2021 13:20

@polkadotpixie when I had mine the nurse said there was no issue with trying again physically just to make sure I (we) felt ok emotionally.

@Sunbird24 "only" 1.4kg...jeez...! Pleased it sounds like you're in good hands and being taken care of x

Welcome @DiscoStusMoonboots love the name!

Well done @DKDK123 that sounds like a real milestone, I often wonder why I keep putting DS' stuff in the loft...!

Haiyaa · 29/08/2021 13:27

@polkadotpixie if you feel like it just go for it. We had a half hearted attempt the cycle after MC, just bear in mind it can fuck your cycle up - I ovulated over a week later than expected so get plenty of OPKS.

Hope you get to go home soon @Sunbird24

Thedesirerainbow · 29/08/2021 13:30

@polkadotpixie I'm so sorry to hear you had to go through MC 😔 hope you're ok x
I've heard the same on being more fertile after MC or chemicals but at the end is all down to you guys. This is very personal and whatever you choose will be the right decision xx

@Sunbird24 gosh I'm feeling so much for you xx

Glorious day over here, went for a relaxed walk and end up having lunch with glorious views. I don't know you girls but me when AF shows up my levels of energy are completely gone, life just have to slow done a bit 😅 will be ready for a little nap when I get home and carry on later on preparing my next pop up shop.

Wishing you all a good day x

@Sunbird24 I'm so sorry you're going through this but glad to hear you're feeling better today, make sure you rest and have lots of support around you❤️

@DKDK123 I can imagine thst being really hard, well done for staying strong!!x

@DiscoStusMoonboots welcome!!

@polkadotpixie I'd just say make sure you're feeling emotionally okay then if you are go for it x

@Thedesirerainbow sounds a lovely day and lovely picture too x

Well I think yesterday was just spotting, af is here full force now and making herself known, baaad cramps, got OH to get some nurofen on the way home from the gym and I'm led here with a hot water bottle, I really need to start getting ready but I'm so bloated I know my outfit will look shit and I feel awful!! I'm hoping the bottle of wine we've got for the journey will help to numb some of the pain🤞🏼

DiscoStusMoonboots · 29/08/2021 14:11

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! @Justanothercyster - snap! Husband's just had another sperm analysis to decide our route forward - so pleased you conceived after 18 months, gives me hope.

@Sunbird24 I hope you are doing ok after what sounds like a really tricky time.

kaylsd · 29/08/2021 14:55

@Sunbird24 I’m so sorry to hear what happened to you, I Hope you have a speedy recovery sending you lots of hugs and loves ❤️
@franklydear sorry to hear about your negative test sending you lots of hugs as they suck ass… won’t lie ❤️
@haiyaa I’ve heard people get second winds in their pregnancy and crave 🍆 so it might be just around the corner for you ;)
@tefiti3 welcome :)
@larrythelizard litterally my hubs the same, takes two to three working days for anything to be done 👀 unless it’s something he wants then he’s like a wizzzzz! Didn’t have chance to stop at a pub, managed a hour n half bike ride and hub looked like he was having a heart attack at one point so had to cut it short 🤣🤣🤣 damn it! Also complained of his arse hurting ..typical 🙈
@somatronic good luck for your meal today I know it’s hard when your surrounded by people who have either babies or pregnant can actually feel quite suffocating at times, your not alone though we’ve got your back ❤️😘
@justanothercyster made me laugh with your DH making a stance last night, something what mine would do also, we’ve had our fair few stances with people who live at the back of our garden on the other street with burning to point my DH has jumped on garage before n put watering can over burning bin like a twat🤣🤣🙈
@Juno231 your friends house is absolutely beautiful! Those views look amazing and so peaceful!

Sorry I’ve not caught up on everything because I HAVE SOME AMAZING NEWSSSSSSSSSS

I AM ON MY PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought I woke up hungover with a migraine because I had a fair few drinkypoos last night, but NO! The devil herself has greeted me like an old friend, she’s bright red each time I wipe and old blood on a liner TMI she'll bite me on the arse in the next few days I know but I’ve waited 117 days for this moment 😢😢😢😢 the metformin shits have been worth it and it’s been so good to reset my cycle I’m just attaching just to show you how long my FLO app has been telling me I’m pregnant when it’s been my non compliant PCOS ovaries decorative baubles being a bell 🥺👀👀👀 but yeah

I am a happy lady today this is me right now as I’m writing this message 👏👏

Justanothercyster · 29/08/2021 14:57

@DiscoStusMoonboots there's always hope :) I can highly recommend Impryl for dh depending on the issue he has, think that's what did it for us x

@kaylsd yay for af! A new fresh start!
And love the bin thing 😂

Franklydear · 29/08/2021 15:01

@kaylsd hmm, my negative test was the covid one lol, happy reset!

kaylsd · 29/08/2021 15:06

@Franklydear Ah jeez what am I like, deffo negative is the way forward with those!!!

Minster2012 · 29/08/2021 15:18

Wow @Juno231 look at those views, and yeah get the bitter sweetness it's not nice is it 😩you are right that I don't always O with the quickies but I get another sort of satisfaction from it, like when you scratch a really good itch IYSWIM? Like more of a carnal urge satisfied?!

@Sunbird24 oh goodness that's a lot, but def good they got an embryo for testing, you seem perkier so do you feel a bit better now? 🤞🏻to get out quickly

@polkadotpixie we started TTC straight away. My consultant nurse in the EPU said there isn't a proper reason why not, like @Franklydear said it's more for dating but she said if you want to just keep going then just keep going & we'll bring you in for a scan to sort dating so actually it's not a bad scenario. I wasn't regular so for me I had no idea when starting again would be or any other dates so just thought f it. I did t have a proper cycle afterwards either.

@Bundaberg84 eeeeeeek hopefully get that static tomorrow, TTC jeopardy with the sticks! Hate that feeling

@Franklydear I don't think you are SLOWLY going mad. No slow about it 🤣

Tearing their clitoris @2020mission jesus why are you watching those??? Plus I think once a week during pregnancy is bloody good! I hope we all get to see how we are like?!

@becarefuloutthere just drop in your new football fact of the day casually...see if he notices...maybe say that "it's good that eye candy Christiano ronaldo is coming back to Manchester...ooo talking of Spanish footballers did you know..." then drop it 🤣🙌🏻

@larrythelizard before the end of your garden leave I challenge you to garden sex. I think it's in your contract

@DiscoStusMoonboots hey welcome!! We are a mixed bunch here and a few waiting on ivf etc some of us had it, lots of us had MCs so we know the frustration of "it's happened before" any embarrassing stories for us?

@DKDK123 big hand hold on giving away the bits, that's a really good thing 😘

@Thedesirerainbow wow another lovely view, and a pop up shop you say? Now I'm intrigued, any more info?

@kaylsd BOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM YESSSSS COME ON WITCHY BRING IT ON BITCH 🧙🏻‍♀️🧙🧙‍♂️loving that!!

Kiwibabyjourney · 29/08/2021 16:18

Hey all, so sorry I've been so quiet, I'm 12 weeks now so first trimester is nearly over and it definitely hit me hard in terms of nausea and fatigue! I was constantly tired. Plus very moody all the time! Feel so sorry for my fiance 😬😬

I am feeling my energy coming back now though and nausea reducing which im so glad for.
Still waiting on my letter for my first scan so still a little anxious about that.

Also passed my probation at work this week which is a relief!!

How is everyone doing, so sorry I haven't been keeping up. 😓😓
