It’s been twelve million years & Minster & the good time crew are still here…it’s almost September and we basically missed out August for BFPs so we are owed.

Lots of people have got new jobs, had time off, gone on holiday, moved house, but what we haven’t had is the BFP to go with it- what’s with that??

So we’re owed a bumper bus ride right? That’s how it goes surely? If you are looking for a community of lovely ladies who know how frustrating it is when your doctor tells you “all women ovulate on day 14” errrr nope, we know a bus load of women who don’t thanks very much 🙋🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️😆🤔then here’s the bus for you. Oh and we don’t just talk TTC, we’ll chat about anything. In fact that’s positively encouraged cos TTC can be bloody boring sometimes!

It costs an embarrassing life (or TTC) story for your ticket please then you can hop on board

Roll on September ladies, it’s time for tunics, leggings & pulling those tunics up for hot quickie action right??

All aboard bus number 47

I think I was under the influence when I agreed to take on this agency bus driver role 🍻 I endeavour to not drink drive…

Plugging @minster2012 blog \\\___, we’ve had cancer, travels & ivf so need to get to the fun stuff, more ivf, surrogacy and more! #shamelessplug
minstermusings.co.uk for the blog that’s where the full stuff happens

If you want to sign up & get updates please do, please note your username if you comment shows up to others so maybe make it anonymous I won’t be offended 😂🤣(unless you are mean)

Aahhhh cot my peak today! So happy it's not an odd irregular cycle. 🎉

Sorry @GuessHowMuch you're feeling down, but totally understandable. I don't get men sometimes.

Also you @Somatronic - I hope you're better today.

Franklydear · 30/08/2021 08:54

Omg the size of the clots, this is definitely not spotting, sofa, coffee and all the biscuits for me today, so glad I don’t have to work
As you were

Minster2012 · 30/08/2021 08:56

Oh yeyyyy for static @Bundaberg84 so are you a "normal" cd14 ovulator or a miraculous non cd14 lady??

@DKDK123 we are the right crazy bunch and I'm pleased you found your peace

@Franklydear well that came on quickly??

@Somatronic how you feeling?

Cd15 here & my head is hurting I don't feel great. DH said "but you didn't drink much last night?" Nope but I feel like poo. Would've been nice for me to OV around now having DTD past 3 days but nope nowt doing. Trying a refreshing dog walk in the grey & wind but not blowing the cobwebs away yet

Franklydear · 30/08/2021 09:01

@Minster2012 some tinge yesterday and then started a bit around midnight, now is a massacre with bits and all, and the cramps, it’s all going on

Bundaberg84 · 30/08/2021 09:02

@Minster2012 I'm a magical cd17 ovulator!

Dollybird89 · 30/08/2021 09:52

Arrgghhh first full shift today! 10-4... Really nervous 🤣 wish me luck.... Gonna need it 😂

Vil10 · 30/08/2021 09:54

@kaylsd woooo yassss for af, partyyyy🥳

@Crazydoglady123 awww lovely news!! Congratulations💗

@Bea14 welcome!! So sorry for your miscarriage, big hugs! But this is definitely the place for support! It sounds like your journey is very similar to a lot of us on here!

@Kirky658 glad to hear you're all doing well x

@Tefiti3 hahahaha brilliant🤣

@Ltay2 oh he's beautiful!!

@DKDK123 so sorry for your loss!! But I'm also a believer in signs, maybe DTD a bit and see what happens? Just read further down and seen your decision, glad you've come to one that you have decided thinks best for you xx

@Franklydear yess to a snacks and sofa day!!

So had a lovely night last night, definitely what was needed, lots of drinks and shots and the meal was to die for!! But as we were walking through the city I've been talking and not looking where I'm going and decked it down a steep curb onto both my knees and cut them both open, blood running everywhere!! I mean it didn't hurt at the time because I was full in pornstar martinis and vodka but they're bloody sore today! The night didn't end well, me and OH ended up arguing because he'd let shit service at one of the places really wind him up, the plan was to go home walk the dogs then go back out in town for a few drinks and I kept saying to him "don't let something so minor ruin your night", we ended up having a little disagreement (not in front of the other couple, this was on the way home) and then we didn't speak at all, he's still asleep so he can do one today, I'm going to have a chilled day with chocolate and nurse my hangover, knees and af!

Somatronic · 30/08/2021 10:03

@Vil10 hope your knees are OK!

@Franklydear mind yourself, thank God you have the day off!

@Dollybird89 good luck! The first day in a new job is always daunting but you'll be great!

Thanks everyone for your support re my hormonal emotional rollercoaster in recent days. Haha. I feel better today but still very crampy @Minster2012 I'll be grand. I've booked my follicle tracking scan for next week and I start letrozole tomorrow so just praying it doesn't set off my migraines and that it works. I'm on the lowest dose so it might not be enough but we'll see.

Franklydear · 30/08/2021 10:07

@Dollybird89 you’ll be fab, just enjoy and everything will be fab, do you have a post office or just the shop?
@Vil10 I hate it when that happens, dammed dhs

Minster2012 · 30/08/2021 10:09

Hood luck @Dollybird89 🤞🏻🙌🏻🤗

Oh no @Vil10 it's amazing what doesn't hurt with an alcohol jacket on!! I'm sure you & OH will make up quickly he seems really kind

@Bundaberg84 another miracle lady hallelujah 🥳we are really proving @Vil10's doctor wrong 😆

@Franklydear maybe it was a bigger lining from the possible CP last time?

@Somatronic pleased you are feeling better, have you had letrozole before?

Franklydear · 30/08/2021 10:20

@Minster2012 makes sense, right?

Kirky658 · 30/08/2021 10:35

@vil10 oh dear, not a fun evening then 😕 hope you and DH make up. Rest up your knees today! Xx

Somatronic · 30/08/2021 10:57

@Minster2012 I've never been on letrozole before but I was on Clomid for 3 months and the nurse said the side effects would probably be the same. She reckons it's the progesterone that's causing the migraines.

Vil10 · 30/08/2021 12:06

@Somatronic theyre such a mess!! Hope you're feeling okay today x

@Franklydear they're so annoying aren't they!!

@Minster2012 he is kind but he's bloody well stubborn and so am I, we've spoken briefly about what to have for tea but that's it, I've got some stuff to do on the laptop today so just going to stay out the way and do that!

@Kirky658 Thankyou lovely x

For anyone who would like to see what a mess my knees are!! First pic is yesterday when it happened, second is now😩

Bundaberg84 · 30/08/2021 13:52

ouch! @Vil10

kaylsd · 30/08/2021 14:30

@bea14 fingers and toes crossed it’s not too long for you, my referal got sent off in early may and by the end of July I had my first appointment and my follow up appointment is on October so not too bad at all :) it might be worth checking NHS app if you have it to make sure your referal has been sent because that’s how I knew I had an appointment booked before the letter in the post because I’m nosey 🤣🙈 wonky cycles are the worst sending hugs hopefully your ovulation is just around the corner 🥺

@Ltay2 how cute is your little fellow! He looks so grown up, Absolutely beautiful 🥺

@minster2012 sending hugs about the social media thing, can be the devil some days! Ovulation is such a pain in the arse since we are wonky donkeys who don’t ovulate on text book time of CD14 hopefully it’s not too long away for you but I’m sure you can get lots of practice in until then

@DKDK123 they do say people give you signs in a way and if lion king is your jam for that one then it makes you second question things! So glad to hear your in a better headspace with the TTC step back, we took a step back in April from tracking ect and it’s one of the best things i chose to do, not only because I was pissing my money away quite literally but it was getting too regimented for me and hub but I think your right there with the title, who can’t beat the combo of them two together 🤣🤣🤣🙈

@crazydoglady123 I’m sure when the time feels right for you it will be a wonderful feeling your first thing you by for your little girl 🥺 enjoy each moment of it 😘😘 H&M have some cute girly things in at the moment as I’ve just got my baby niece a few bits from there xx

@Somatronic @guesshowmuch @vil10
was over the moon with the AF yesterday.. today I hate life as I feel like my womb is dropping out, TMI but I’ve not missed the standing up and feeling like I’m gushing 🤣🤣🤣👀

Just a little check in ladies I’m snowed under at work, no staff and my uterus hates me today 🤣🤣🤣 BUT it's still all happy days that it's here in my eyes, my SIL has just dropped a goodie bag off at mine full of pads tampax Ben and jerries ferrero rocher and a bath bomb as much as she’s overjoyed that I’ve come on she felt sorry for me 🤣🤣🤣

GuessHowMuch · 30/08/2021 15:23

Sorry you’re feeling grotty @Minster2012. What kind of walk did you go on? I’m super lucky where I live that we have forest walks, mountains and beach all within walking distance from home. Can’t beat a beach walk for a crappy headache. I can’t really explain why I’m pissed off with myself; it just doesn’t feel like a nice feeling! I want to be that kind earth mother that whisps through life being utterly pleased for other people’s successes. I already feel a bit less meh this morning; I’m not close to them so will be able to keep myself out of the way it I need to.

@DKDK123 I didn’t know your history when I commented before (just got carried away with the Lion King 😅). Sounds like you’ve had it super rough; you sound like a tough cookie making the decisions you’ve been pushed to.

@Vil10 ooof your knees - ouch!

Fingers crossed your womb survives @kaylsd! Your SIL sounds lovely - what a fab goodie box 😍

paintfairy · 30/08/2021 16:29

@Vil10 ouch! They look sore! 🙈

CD 11 and spotting already. 🙄 Might be a 25 day cycle this month!

Minster2012 · 30/08/2021 17:01

@Somatronic I suffer with headaches and migraines anyway & certainly added progesterone gave me headaches, the things we do eh? But glad you are feeling better

@Vil10 omg ouch!!! Are you still skulking around?!

@kaylsd what a SIL that sounds fantastic enjoy!

@GuessHowMuch I just had a walk around the fields behind us, our house goes straight out onto lovely round public footpaths which is great for off lead dog walking so just round there, saw the combines which I love at this time of year, there's been a gentle hum all around us recently. I know the feeling you mean, just a foul mood you can't get out of it. Or even don't really want to get out of it sometimes

@paintfairy oh no that's rubbish again, hope it's not.

I had an OPK earlier which registered on Premom as 30%. First one above negligible can't believe I'm getting vaguely excited as that still happened last cycle & it ended up being 38 days

Tornado2Inc · 30/08/2021 17:14

Well ladies, do I have an update for you. So last night, I go to loo and see some blood down there. Not spotting, more like nosebleed blood. So I call 111, they say if it happens again and/or gets worse, go to a&e. So yep, it got worse. They send out ambulance, and by the time I got there, my pad, period underwear and my jeans get completely soaked. We are talking 1-2 cups of blood. Oh, and intense cramping.

So I stay the night, they all tell me it's most likely a MC (I'm 15 weeks) and that they need to scan to make sure it is, and then see what the best way of getting it out is. Then i have the scan, ans there is a heartbeat! Like, the thingy is moving, rolling, and being all "robust"

So no explanation on what the bleeding could have been (all stopped now) but I lost a lot of blood and they want to keep me here another night so they can give me transfusion in case it happens again. No concerns about foetus for the time being - all looks good there.

Anyone wants to take a guess what it could have been? Mine is placenta praevia (at least I hope!). No official update or diagnosis as of yet.

becarefuloutthere · 30/08/2021 17:18

@Tornado2Inc oh hun, what an ordeal! Sounds so scary! Glad all's ok with the baby though. Hope they can work out what caused it! No idea myself. Hope you're ok? X

Sausage1990 · 30/08/2021 17:20

Hello ladies. I've missed the last few buses while taking a step away but I'm back!!! I've missed you all 💕

I've tried to catch up on the last 6 pages but I know I'll have missed alot. Seems like lots of change I've the last month or so and a fair few newbies too 👋🏻 hello to you all.

For the newbies I've been on this bus since we started so one of the OGs but needed to take a break after our 3rd consecutive loss (2nd missed miscarriage). My mental health took a beating & i wasn't in a great place.

The update from me isn't much really, I've been having weekly counselling & anxiety meds for just over 2 months now, and fortnightly reflexology and it's all helped me get into a better space. Self care and boundaries (especially in work) have been super important for me, and im getting there. I've had all. My blood tests etc for the miscarriage clinic and waiting on the results (which I hope won't be too much longer) before we can decide on the next steps so still actively preventing pregnancy at this point BUT I'm in prep mode. Getting my cycle back to a more normal pattern, supplements, eating well etc...

How are you all? Been thinking of you all. @minster2012 @larrythelizard @Franklydear @paintfairy @InkyPaper @Justanothercyster @haiyaa @blackcurrantqueen @tornado2inc and anyone else who's been around for a while 💕

Sausage1990 · 30/08/2021 17:22

@tornado2inc gosh how scary. I'm glad baby is okay, take it easy & look after yourself. 💕

(sorry I was writing my post when you posted so I hadn't seen your message until I'd pressed send)

becarefuloutthere · 30/08/2021 17:24

@Sausage1990 ah nice to have you bk! Hope you get results soon n I'm glad the break did you good. Not much to report from me, 15 weeks tomorrow so plodding along ok.

Tornado2Inc · 30/08/2021 17:24

@becarefuloutthere yeah, all good my end. No pain, slept well, feeling pretty great overall. Was quite a fright, but seems to be over. At least I hope!
