It’s been twelve million years & Minster & the good time crew are still here…it’s almost September and we basically missed out August for BFPs so we are owed.

Lots of people have got new jobs, had time off, gone on holiday, moved house, but what we haven’t had is the BFP to go with it- what’s with that??

So we’re owed a bumper bus ride right? That’s how it goes surely? If you are looking for a community of lovely ladies who know how frustrating it is when your doctor tells you “all women ovulate on day 14” errrr nope, we know a bus load of women who don’t thanks very much 🙋🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️😆🤔then here’s the bus for you. @Minster2012 yeah I called the maternity booking line at 7 weeks. Those chemicals just stopped me from jumping too early! I still got my booking and scan appointments through for exactly 8 weeks and then 12 weeks so it didn't delay anything holding off a little 👍 it was third time lucky for me so I am feeling very hopeful for you that this is the one!

@Vil10 you say your RHR is high but I bet it's still low compared to my 68 average 😅 you have an amazing RHR in normal times. Hope you're feeling better soon.

Sorry I'm quiet, AF got me bad this time, I really was kinda convinced I was pregnant, and I'm never like that! But here I am.

Flying to London today, a family friend of my husband died last year and we have some things to sort out before his house goes on the market. So at least I can drink whilst there :) Will spend a couple of days alone as DH will have to sort things out I can't help him with, and I will be working from our London office. Looking forward to it, also it's my birthday next Tuesday, so yes to gins!

I'll be lurking around and hope for many BFPs!

I need to cop on to myself, I went out drinking last night and am mildly hungover today. We used to go out drinking every Thursday pre-pandemic but this was only my second time since March 2020. Had a few beers outside in a beer garden and some finger food that's really bad for me and had great fun. I hope I didn't pickle any potential bean haha.

Also, fuck Brexit. I keep forgetting to check addresses on businesses to make sure they're not based in the UK when I buy online and I got caught again for custom charges today. Hopefully this is the last time! 😤

@bez91 awww it's still hard on the cousins wife, maybe just say "congratulations this is great news" then ignore responses? And so look back in on the chat when it's moved onto other normal inane chat?? That's great you e stepped away from the tests, I did a weeks one on tuesday (so 13dpo) and it said 1/2 weeks, it immediately started to worry me. I have no idea if that's right, prob a bit behind I guess, another one left and going to try not use it til the end of next week?

@gcat16 oh hun I’ve been here so many times with no pos OPK and long cycles, have you had any blood work done / investigations for things such as PCOS? I was diagnosed with PCOS in March following long cycles

Just a little update lasts as I mentioned earlier this week or last can’t remember the days fall into one, DH had fast track USS at Leeds following dreadful repeat SA and on n off pain in his testicles… he’s been diagnosed today with a varicocele which is most likely towards why hub has boarderline / low SA and his on and off pain, they’ve referred him back to GP who’s ringing Monday which they’ve put on his ultrasound report likely need referral to urology for removal! I’m so happy it’s nothing sinister as you always fear the worse and I’m hoping if they remove it / embolise we may have the chance to improve his numbers before they recommend us for ICSI 🥺🤞🏻🤞🏻

CD22 for me, ov pains (I think) yesterday and the day before, EWCM yesterday. Best OPK was from yesterday at 30% according to the app. Still fairly new at TTC so not really sure if I’ve actually ovulated yet or not.

Just enjoying lots of sex while I try to get my head around it all, this making a baby malarkey isn’t as easy as it’s made out to be!

@gcat16 long cycles are the woooorst. I feel your pain, mine can be unreasonably long. Like @kaylsd said it's worth getting it checked out if you haven't already. It may not be anything at all (I pretty much just got a shrug and an offer of the pill) but it's always good to have it checked

I am finally feeling more human today after 3 days of what turned out the be the worst PMT ever. Honestly between the cramps and the neverending headache I've basically been in a ball since Tuesday. Not fun. Apologies if I've missed anything!

Well they are always on the long side @Minster2012 but just totally unpredictable! I've ovulated as early as CD23 and then this cycle no idea. Such a head fuck.

Thanks @kaylsd & @InkyPaper I think I will push to have more tests. The GP did a 21 day blood test (I obvs hadn't ovulated) and just said, oh it was anovulatory, on to the next one.

Glad to hear you're ovulating though kaylsd, didn't you have a mega long cycle recently?! Sounds like a relatively good outcome to your OH's pain, and if it also makes the sperm better then great side effect! Glad it wasn't more sinister news.

Well this cold is a cold from hell, was up half the night coughing, been wide awake since 5:30, swollen glands, runny/blocked nose, headache, ulcers, sore throat, horrible cough, the works!! I blame being back at work with germy kids! Got an hour long pt this morning too hoping I might sweat some of it out!!

Morning ladies, I made it to 11.30pm last night with my friends in the pub (not drinking) and it was lovely, though I even got raised eyebrows and "are you having a night off" from the militant bar manager who was also surprised I wasn't drinking (and I looked longingly at the others downing 2 bottles of Prosecco!) but oh well it was lovely to get out, I even wore heels! 👠

@gcat16 def push forward more investigations, one of the ladies here, @Dollybird89 was having weekly bloods to check for ovulation after ridiculous long cycles. Some ppl have taken things like agnus cact something to try bring forwards OV? But then again if you are early into TTC maybe not for now

@somatronic don't worry about pickling any potential bean, I was hammering the tequila shots the night before I got my bgp with DS. I freaked myself right out that I'd have caused damage to it but then was reassured that all the nutrients that early come from the egg sac as the placenta hadn't formed so jellybean wasn't infused with tequila 😂

@Vil10 the colds that are going around just now are horrendous, think they're making up for not being able to infect everyone during lockdown last year. My class has been like a revolving door the past 2 weeks everyone taking it in turns to be off with it. The cough they're getting with it sounds horrendous but all have came back negative for covid so it is just a really bad cold strain. Touch wood I haven't caught it yet but I feel like I'm becoming a tad ocd like with the handwashing and cleaning tables at the moment! 🙈 Hope you're feeling better soon.

But I'm just feeling a bit excited and hopeful this time round as all my previous ones haven't made it past the darkness of around #3 even the ones that have made it to 5 1/2 weeks have never made it as dark as I am now at just past 4 weeks, the darkness of #3 has been the peak they've gotten to before starting to get lighter again and this is the first time I've seen the line darker than the control one 😁 Is there such a thing as 9th time lucky? 🤔 😂Obviously I'm upset with every loss but Im going to be utterly devastated if this one doesn't make it as I'm so convinced this is finally it 🤞 (ps no idea what my dpos were so I just had to number them in order I did them, some are taken a few days apart.)
