It’s been twelve million years & Minster & the good time crew are still here…it’s almost September and we basically missed out August for BFPs so we are owed.

Lots of people have got new jobs, had time off, gone on holiday, moved house, but what we haven’t had is the BFP to go with it- what’s with that??

So we’re owed a bumper bus ride right? That’s how it goes surely? If you are looking for a community of lovely ladies who know how frustrating it is when your doctor tells you “all women ovulate on day 14” errrr nope, we know a bus load of women who don’t thanks very much 🙋🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️😆🤔then here’s the bus for you. Oh and we don’t just talk TTC, we’ll chat about anything. In fact that’s positively encouraged cos TTC can be bloody boring sometimes!

@bez91 yea we'll definitely be getting an early scan, will have to be a private one so we're going to wait till around the 8 week mark to have it done, if we can reach that point and have a successful scan then I'll fully believe that's the one to stay and we'll let close family know. If money were no object I'd also get a 6 week one for reassurance sooner but considering I'm passing money away having bought 3 packets of FR and one pack of CB digital just to monitor progression I think we'll just stick with the one scan 😂

@kaylsd funnily enough fertility friend had hundreds of thousands of charts that they've analysed and determined that the most common day to ovulate is CD16!

So ladies I'm in a bit of an annoyed mood, two things...firstly MIL text me earlier to say she was coming over with nephew (no idea why he wasn't at school) & she was bringing boxes of stuff over we stored at theirs for the house sale (decluttering) and after saying on the weekend "as long as it's October". And I said great after the scan we'll get it...Nope she brought a car load. Of big baby bits. That's why I didn't want it, now I feel jinxed.

Secondly, DS & I went to the woods with my mate & her boy this morning & I said I won't be drinking tomorrow night on our girls pub trip (as I'll get questioned NO DOUBT) & she guessed as she knew we were TTC. I said this to DH, we've had conversations with them before about TTC & he was annoyed I'd told her. 🤷🏼‍♀️🤨I said well I will need a friend you know if anything bad happens. Humph humph humph.

@Juno231 yeah sorry I said I told my parents on Tuesday as they were then going away on weds for 2 weeks which is over my scan & they just said "ok well don't lift anything & of course we hope the scan goes ok" or something like that so yeah more positive than before but not exactly overwhelming

@DKDK123 yes literally pissing money away, it's expensive 🤯 8 weeks is sensible though!

That's interesting on most common ov day @Juno231 doesn't surprise me (never thought to consult FF as good stats on there) I don't think I've ever ovulated in day 14 😆 have you heard anything about your new job or like @larrythelizard was kept in the dark?

That would annoy me too, especially when you set boundaries with someone it's hard enough battling yourself let alone other people. Hard one with DH, it's hard though when you feel like you have no choice but to tell someone for those kind of reasons. I'm being a recluse for the foreseeable future.

Had a lovely day yesterday with mummy friends. Went for a walk with my neighbour and her little man yesterday and then another came for coffee. Made me feel a bit better. Today I'm off to register Alice's birth, and of course it is Friday which means DH is home this weekend ❤️

@Minster2012 2WW buddies of a different kind, we can do this 💪 I'm the same all symptoms have disappeared except extreme exhaustion. I should be worried but I don't know what it is I just have a gut feeling now that this IS the one I'm getting to keep. I'm taking baby asprin this time so I at least feel like something is different and I'm manifesting the shit out of this one talking to the jellybean telling it to hang on in there (when I'm alone so I don't look like a crazy person) and listening to positive pregnancy affirmations on YouTube and positive pregnancy sleep app at night. Keeping stress levels right down this time round, my boss has moved me to a less stressful class so my adrenaline isn't spiking all the time, so doing all I can and willing this to be the one 🤞 Got my 2-3weeks on digital this morn so all still heading in the right direction. I may even register with the midwife today, something I've never dared do with the others even when further along than this, but I'm choosing not to be scared of this one, it's mine to keep! Wish I could send the positivity your way but I know from the past its not that easy to feel positive after a loss so just take it one day at a time. 😘

@larrythelizard we discussed it last night and are going to get one on the 16th, that's just over the 8 week point. We have a wedding party that night (they got married during lockdown with just 4 guests so this is the party part with everyone) so we'll get the scan in the morning then if it's bad news we have during the day to cry then I can get shitfaced at the party and if it's good news we're travelling to my mums so she can watch DS for the party so t'll be perfect time to let the parents know. 🤞
Hope your working day gets to be more productive today........but not so productive that you can't get your lasagne made 😉

I've got a girly weekend booked with one of my close friends tomorrow, theatre and over night stay. I'm going to have to tell her as there's no way she'll buy into any excuse I give for not drinking. Tho had to take DS for a covid test last night as his nursery teacher has tested positive. He has no symptoms but keeping fingers and toes crossed his doesn't turn out to be positive too as I'm looking forward to my night away!

My RHR is so high today and has been the last 2 but I'm ill so that'll be why, my cold has come out and I have an awful cough, I haven't slept properly for the last 2 weeks either so that won't help! We were supposed to be giving our statements to the police over the phone last night but they got in contact with OH yesterday and they want to come and visit us at home and do it, I'm so nervous and I don't know why? I think because I've never done anything like this before, and I don't want to forget any key information!!

@Vil10 so glad the police are taking it really seriously. Maybe they're bringing a sketch artist or some efits for you to look at to see if it helps identify the man. Either way I really hope they get the guy!

@DKDK123 yayyyy on the 2-3 🥳 I got my 3+ at the weekend and have stopped testing and temping although still looking at RHR trying to remain optimistic but really struggling. Sounds good timing on the scan a party is always good for good or bad news and you have a POA either way. I might contact midwife next week if all is ok Wednesday

@Vil10 maybe you could write some things down. I'd have done that for over the phone anyway so there's no reason why not, feel a bit more confident about having everything covered?

My cousins fiancé I mentioned before who thought she was having a MC and confided in me has just announced she's pregnant in the massive family group chat. I knew it was coming but I still feel really weird about it and haven't mustered up the courage to say congrats yet 🤦🏼‍♀️

@DKDK123 I honestly thought they'd be dragging their feet but my police woman friend said it is really serious and they'll be doing everything they can which is reassuring! I thought this or thought maybe they'd be collecting OH's cap he had on, they asked over the phone when we reported it if we'd washed his clothes and I had because I didn't even think, I just thought he'd been in the clothes for almost 36 hours in hospital full of blood so I wanted them straight in the washing machine, luckily we didn't wash his cap so they said they might need it!

@Minster2012 I think I'll feel a lot more comfortable talking to someone in person in my own home too! Ohh that's annoying! I snore too when I'm ill😂 well my bloods are on Monday and they usually only take a few days so I'll ring on Thursday and see if they've got them! Definitely be taking it easy and resting!! But chest of drawers shopping sounds fun!
