Hey,

I'm 8DPO and feeling super dizzy with a headache for the past two days, slight nausea and swollen nipples. It could well be AF as she is due in a weeks time (on my sons 1st birthday, how cruel is that by the way?!) Wink

Is anyone else on the same CD or there about? How are you feeling?

Hi! I’m 9DPO today, so pretty close!
I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you! did you have anything similar when you fell pregnant with your little boy?

I don’t have any unusual symptoms. I’m super tired but that’s quite normal for me at this point in my cycle. I was an idiot and took a test this morning even through I know it’s still too early really - BFN of course. Think I’ll try to wait until Sunday before testing again now

babyboybluex · 10/06/2021 10:52

Ah hey @Pebblesbeach!! Thank you so much for replying.

It's so hard not to test isn't it? I would be doing the same... 3 tests sitting in the bathroom just waiting for me haha. Sunday is a good idea, you will have a better idea then, however, still early days. I've got my fingers crossed for you also!

With my first, I didn't find out I was pregnant until 9 weeks! Crazy I know. I had nausea and tender boobs but that was it. Was away with work on a business trip and didn't think twice until I got home!! In a way I preferred that to symptom spotting.

I hope we get our BFP's soon x

I just can’t help myself haha. I’m quite new to all of this, it’s only our 3rd month of properly trying, so still very early days really. I’m trying to not let it completely take over my thoughts but it’s a struggle!

Wow 9 weeks! I know what you mean though, all the guessing and wondering if the worst part about it. Must have been quite nice to skip all of that and go straight to the good news Smile If only we could see what’s actually going on in there! X

eastview · 10/06/2021 11:19

Hey I'm roughly 8 DPO too! Been trying for a while and had a couple of losses. Done with tracking and stuff now tho as it's not good for my mental health so hoping the lack of stress will help!

Good luck ladies 😃 x

babyboybluex · 10/06/2021 11:25

@Pebblesbeach It is a struggle 100%. Keep us posted on how Sunday goes, I may test then as well. Haha I know, it was really nice. For our 12 week scan, we were further on so found out the gender which was a great surprise also. We've got this Smile

@eastview Calm and present is the best way to be, you're doing amazing. When do you think you will test? Good luck Flowers x

I'm 5DPO so a little early but would love to join, second month TTC #1. Have a pretty regular and recognisable OV and use earblue opks to confirm, this month we hopefully hit it with a SMEP, fingers crossed! Last month I overanalysed any twinge and symptom, and couldn't believe it when it was a BFN, had so many! So being relaxed about this one :) Hope you guys get your BFPs, I becoming addicted to looking at everyone's test picsGrin

babyboybluex · 10/06/2021 11:43

@Imisscoffee2021 Welcome! Please join Smile This month sounds very promising for you, I'll have my fingers crossed. Let us know when you first test!

I was like that last month as well, I was convinced I was pregnant then nope BFN and hello AF!!

Nothing beats a test photo, I'm with you on that.

I am 5DPO too, well who knows! Only came off the pill last month. OPK and NC says I ovulated on sat. I was away with the girls but DTD on Thursday before I went, so hopefully the swimmers were waiting!! Really bad ovulation pain Friday through to Monday. Still got slight cramps, headache and feel so tired. Bought a new Reed diffuser for my lounge and had to move it, smell too strong by husband cannot smell it! Trying not to test yet

babyboybluex · 10/06/2021 11:58

@Charliecircle11 Oooooh that sounds promising. I hope you get that BFP soon! It's a nightmare trying to keep distracted in the 2WW - have you got some plans for the days ahead? x

Well work is ridiculously busy and I finish tomorrow for two weeks off. We should have been on the Maldives on our honeymoon but going to the Lake District instead! Going to take the tests with me and try to hold off as long as possible. Constant niggle in my left lower side like stitch

babyboybluex · 10/06/2021 12:02

@Charliecircle11 Aw that sounds so lovely despite not getting to the Maldives. Were you able to change dates ok? Lake District is gorgeous.

Keep us posted on your tests and enjoy your break!!

@babyboybluex thanks so much, i do my best to be but i have my good and bad days my sister in-law also announced she's pregnant two weeks after my d&c and other day found out shes having a boy, i couldn't stop crying the whole day her pregnancy seems to really affect me. My fiance is amazing and has been my rock through it all, i cant wait to finally be able to call him my husband in august, after void postponed our wedding last year.

Thanks i try not to symptom spot too much but cant help when notice things sometimes. your symtpoms seem promising too and not to long to wait before can test, do you wait for AF due or early test? x

LeeTTCRainbow · 10/06/2021 14:16

meant to b say covid, not void.

Pebblesbeach · 10/06/2021 14:33

Hi ladies
@eastview and @LeeTTCRainbow - so sorry to hear about both of your losses Flowers sending extra baby dust to the both of you.

It’s comforting to hear from other women at a similar point with TTC. No one on real life knows (other than my partner of course Grin ) that we're trying. Having no one to talk to about it is driving me a bit mad!
I’m not too positive this month since I don’t really have any symptoms at all. I know not everyone gets them, but for some reason I thought I’d be able to somehow know if I was pregnant, instinctively Grin my sensible side is telling me that’s probably rubbish though haha
Looking forward to hopefully seeing some positive tests from at least someone over the next week or so!

LeeTTCRainbow · 10/06/2021 15:08

@Pebblesbeach thank you so much appreciate the support.

so hard i was like that for months and then when finally got our positive still couldn't say anything was constantly on these groups for advice, discussions with everyone in same boat, this time is our 3rd attempt still for first baby and family and work know been through losses so will be harder to hide if im lucky enough to fall this month. this time we plan on telling close family sooner get some enjoyment even if doesnt work out so not just doom and gloom.

DW about having no symptoms first time i had barely anything too, i had a sore lower back and light cramping day before AF was due when took test that night i honestly expected to be negative only reason took was lack of harsh cramps i get with AF. only once missed my period about 5/6 weeks i started noticing stuff, but could still have nothing my sister in-law and friend whole pregnancy 1st trimester had no symptoms at all ones 20 weeks and other 24 weeks now. i was livid lol as i had awful symptoms early on and still miscarried.

Its still early days so your not out until AF shows.

Pebblesbeach · 10/06/2021 15:25

That sounds so tough @LeeTTCRainbow
I can understand why you’d be keen to tell people sooner next time. Must have been so difficult going through that multiple times and having to deal with it.
It’s such an eye opener coming onto this forum. It was always drilled into me that I must be using birth control otherwise I’d absolutely get pregnant. But it’s much more difficult than that and that part never really gets discussed. Then even if you do get pregnant, there’s the stress of wondering whether it will stick.
Not simple at all!

Thanks, I’ll try to stay positive despite the lack of symptoms Grin

HRP1990 · 10/06/2021 15:31

Hi girls, would you mind if I joined? I’m also 8DPO. No symptoms really. My boobs feel heavier than usual and my skin is going mad 🙄.

I’m so sorry to hear of your losses. I didn’t realise how common MC/chemical pregnancies aresince I joined this forum. My eyes have been well and truly opened!! Flowers

Skincareaddict · 10/06/2021 15:47

Hi,

Can I join this thread too? 9dpo, 6 months ttc, no symptoms thus far this month although I usually get intense nausea around this time which I haven't experienced yet!

LeeTTCRainbow · 10/06/2021 15:52

@Pebblesbeach yes well first pregnancy my mum only knew i was pregnant was when we had been for my scan i was meant to be 12.5 weeks and unfortunately told the awful news baby had died at 11 weeks, my fiancé had to call her up and tell her the bad news over the phone she was shocked as didnt even know we were trying and so upset for us, so we then drove there and spent day together she also has suffered miscarriages so could relate, unfortunately i ended up having complications body wasnt letting go properly and admitted to hospital as haemorrhaged through the contractions and rushed for emergency surgery, the second one i did tell my mum but sadly few weeks later naturally miscarried, sounds awful but that was easier for me as my body just knew something was wrong and let go.

Oh i know been on pill for years and for what lol yet i bet if hadn't i probably would of fallen when wasn't ready, now ready and here we are, yes for me its keeping it seems to be the issue rather than getting pregnant, whereas i know some women struggle getting pregnant so i am lucky in that way, just going through losses strips a layer each time and stings abit more, i guess so does every negative test. x

pinkypink24 · 10/06/2021 15:54

Hey 👋🏻 can I join please? 13 DPO here & AF was due today, no sign of it yet. I would just like to mention that I'm new to all of this tracking & TTC as we've only been trying properly 1 month. I was on the pill for years & didn't have regular periods with that so I'm still in the getting to know my body phase I guess ... but what I do know is that I have always got some form of cramping a couple of days before AF arrived & I haven't had any of those symptoms this month yet 🤞Im using the glow app to track periods, ovulation & DTD. Since I've come off my pill my periods have arrived exactly every 24 days on the dot. I've only been tracking for 3 months so I'm not sure I've gathered enough data yet to be feeling hopeful.
Have any of You found that it's common for length of cycle days to fluctuate monthly?

Sending lots of hope & baby dust to all 💓

LeeTTCRainbow · 10/06/2021 15:55

@HRP1990 welcome, i know what you mean about skin, few days after my ovulation i was so spotty which i rarely am, this happened last two pregnancies so hoping good sign just never know body plays tricks. How long have you been trying for if dont mind me asking?

Thank you, so lovely to hear about TTC journey.

LeeTTCRainbow · 10/06/2021 15:56

@Skincareaddict welcome, is this your 1st baby?

Skincareaddict · 10/06/2021 16:09

Yes this will be my first baby (hopefully). Myself and my partner are both mid-late 20s. I have always had a regular cycle and get clear ovulation signs so I really didn't expect it to take this long :(
I'm getting a lot of pressure from family / friends/ colleagues who ask when I'm planning on having a child which is so hurtful when you can't share that its just not working for you.
