Here we are again... thread 19. Not sure if any of you ladies are here from thread 1. I think I've been around since about thread 5.

Hi @ChangeHtotheP I don’t do ovulation tests but I think they always have a line that shows a baseline of hcg in your system but it gets darker and darker when nearer ovulation. Sure others will know more! Good luck with it xxx

ChangeHtotheP · 29/07/2021 11:39

@Loulou237 Thank you. I’m so new to all of this and there is so much conflicting information out there. The app i used to record my cycle showed there was three stages and I wasn’t expecting to be ‘high’ yet. Maybe I should just delete the app and stick to reading instructions and only those. 😄

@ChangeHtotheP so sorry for your loss. With OPKs, I find mine always had 2 lines, it’s positive when the test line is as dark as, or darker than the control line. I used the Premom app which was pretty spot on. I will upload a pic

@bez91 so far so good thank you. Where are you in your cycle this month? And did I tell you about the ferti-lily?

@bubblybrit 9+4 here now.. the anxiety doesn’t go😫 just gotta keep busy. Are you having the 7week scan?

SLCxxx · 29/07/2021 19:15

@ChangeHtotheP hope this helps

@bubblybrit I know that feeling all to well it's tough but today you are pregnant 💕 new job not started yet, in a 3 month notice period. To complicate things I'm likely staying where I am after the director had a rethink.

@SLCxxx great stuff, didn't realise you were 9+4 already 😁 think I'm about 9dpo, due back end of next week. I've heard of the ferti-Lilly before, is that what you has success with?

OP posts:
bubblybrit · 29/07/2021 20:10

@SLCxxx. Yeah I’ve booked a scan for when I’ll (hopefully) be 7+2. How are you getting on? I’m trying to keep busy with work and my DD but my mind still wanders at times and just prays that everything is ok with this pregnancy.

bubblybrit · 29/07/2021 20:15

Yes that is very true @bez91. I’m so thankful so need to just take one day at a time. Ah I see. I thought cos it was internal that perhaps a notice period would be waived. Fingers crossed that you get some clarity soon regarding your position. Good luck for next week....will keep my fingers crossed for you x

Loz2467 · 31/07/2021 12:51

Sorry ladies I know we’ve talked about periods after the vaccine before. But I’ve just had my first period since. It was heavier than usual which I’ve read can happen. It lasted 5 days. Stopped yesterday and I had nothing and then it’s back again today 😩 it’s just so frustrating to have all this ontop of the loss and TTC. Makes me feel like I have no control. I even bought the clear blue digital to start this cycle but I’ve already lost hope.

susiebluebell · 31/07/2021 18:45

Hang in there @Loz2467! Sending hugs. It's just an unusual period - it doesn't mean that your TTC this month will be pointless. I'm sure you'll feel better in a couple of days xx

Loz2467 · 01/08/2021 22:47

Thank you @susiebluebell 💗 it seems like it’s subsiding again today! May have a delayed ovulation still due to the vaccine. Trying to take a relaxed approach because it’s just not happening. I hope your okay xx

bez91 · 02/08/2021 10:15

Hope all you ladies are well and those with BFPs in the last couple of weeks are holding up ok.

@davidrosejumper hope you're doing ok too!

Around 13dpo here, think I may be out. Tiny bit of pink after DTD last night so may be AF on the way. AF due sometime between Wednesday and Friday 😩

Loulou237 · 02/08/2021 19:28

Hi @bez91 my friend had that for the first trimester when she was pregnant so I don’t think that is necessarily a sign of af! Fingers crossed for you xx

Beleeve · 02/08/2021 22:10

Uuggh i just started bleeding at 5dpo, anyone else had their period this early? Could it mean i never actually ovulated?

I'm honestly sick of something different going wrong every month Sad

susiebluebell · 02/08/2021 22:39

I feel your pain @Beleeve! No answers for you, but yes it's shit when something different goes wrong every month x

Beleeve · 03/08/2021 08:09

Sucks doesn't it @susiebluebell I'm looking at the positive though, my first gynae call is today. It's been cancelled twice but seems it is actually going ahead today. This has lit a bit of a fire under me, i want my progestorone tested and i'm not letting it go until they do!!

bez91 · 03/08/2021 08:24

@Beleeve yes good for you with that fire in your belly. Sometimes there is complete lack of frustration of joint up derbies and MH impact with fertility and MCs. Hope it goes well.
14dpo here, think will test tomorrow as fed up of waiting 🤦🏼‍♀️

OP posts:
susiebluebell · 03/08/2021 08:48

Go for it @bez91 just rip that plaster off! Knowing is better than guessing Smile

And good for you @Beleeve ask for what you need! Big hugs

Beleeve · 03/08/2021 09:20

Waiting on the call and they haven't turned up yet. I am going to be beyond annoyed if they don't show Angry

bubblybrit · 03/08/2021 09:58

Good luck for tomorrow @bez91. Finger crossed for you 🤞 x

Beleeve · 03/08/2021 15:24

Sorry for the rant here but guys is it normal to be an absolute headcase whilst ttc?!!

I had my call with the gynae today and overall i actually got more out of it than expected. I will go in her to have a look at tubes etc, think they put dye in and check everything looks ok. Think she has a good look around at the same time (sorry no idea what this procedure is called, she probably did tell me but was too much info to take in) Before this though i will have bloods beginning and end of my cycle and my partner will have sperm analysis. Think we get the results of everything together at the appointment whenever that will be.

However due to my period coming rediculously early this month the point at which the first bloods need to be done is now! I tried every hospital in the area and can't get bloods for another week at which point it will be too late. The doctors may be able to do it but i need to ring tomorrow to find out if they will authorise it (don't get this, i've been told i need them and i have the blood forms)

When i called the gynaes secretary back she just said oh well do it on next months cycle and i had a flippin meltdown, crying on the phone and everything! We've been advised now not to try while all this is going on so i think i'm just feeling like now i need to waste all this time letting these months go by where i can't do anything. I'm not getting any younger and it's taken SO long just to get here! Really wanted to get the ball rolling and now i have to wait again.

I'm crazy i know but please tell me i'm not the only one?!

bez91 · 03/08/2021 20:23

Thanks @bubblybrit @susiebluebell 💕 AF showed up today a couple of days early 🙄 so onto month 15. I have had an appointment through for recurrent MC clinic in October so that's something and finally sorted some MC counselling for a few weeks time so some positives 😊

coconutlatte44 · 03/08/2021 23:02

Hey all, anyone else in their last few days before af is due? I'm due Friday-ish but last cycle (first one post a very drawn out miscarriage) was 34 days when I'm usually bang on 28-29 so could be off.

I tested this afternoon when my tests arrived in the mail and no sign of a second line. Not sure if I want to wait a few more days to test again or if I just want to give in to the madness and test whenever I feel like it! I'm usually pretty restrained about it but am feeling impatient with it this time around.

bubblybrit · 04/08/2021 07:15

I’m sorry AF arrived @bez91. Good to see some positive steps are being taken though xx

susiebluebell · 04/08/2021 09:59

@Beleeve Wow, some great progress and some more annoyances! Really feel for you. Is there any way you could get the bloods done privately? I'm not sure what exactly they're testing for, but if you know, could you possible do it elsewhere and take the results to your gynae? Off the top of my head I'm thinking a private doctor, or Thriva where you do it at home... Hope something works out for you sooner than next cycle! Aargh x

@bez91 Sorry to hear about AF.... Fresh start?? Confused Smile

@coconutlatte44 Yep, I'm waiting for AF any day now! I usually wait as long as humanly possible to do pregnancy tests, but if your AF is due, then it should be accurate. x

Beleeve · 04/08/2021 11:10

Thanks @susiebluebell i think i got a bit of a jobsworth at the docs yesterday, the receptionist i spoke to today just booked me straight in for a blood test tomorrow morning. I feel better about things today, i think i'm honestly just tired and emotional about it all. We can't try this month so probably a good thing so i can not bother tracking and just forget about it for a bit.

I am honestly really happy about how the appointment went yesterday, took a year to get there but was well worth it and it's definately progress. I think i'm just feeling a bit overwhelmed, having these tests done is great but think it hit me a bit that there is something wrong. I knew deep down already bit it hits different coming from someone who knows what they're talking about.

Thank you for all the advice everyone. I'll still pop on here but going to also try and take a bit of a step back before i end up being bloody sectioned 🤪
