@bubblybrit congrats! That’s lovely news! I had a bad tummy during my first pregnancy, think it’s all the hormones so probably a good sign 😀.

So I had confirmation from my GP last week that I was indeed pregnant again and that it must have been a chemical and that if it happens again she will refer me to Gynaecology. We’ve gone from not being able to get pregnant to now getting pregnant quickly but losing them. Not sure how many hurdles we are going to have to jump to get a baby! We’re hoping that this is all just really bad luck (I’ve had standard tests and all was fine) and that it will be third time lucky xx

I’m hoping it doesn’t last for the full 9 months @Fern346. Fingers crossed that it’s third time lucky for you...positive that all standard tests have come back normal x

Hi ladies. Like an eejit I was away all weekend and decided to test when I came home this evening. I am really really early, I think 6 days DPO. Had solid smiley last Sunday and two peak days on OPK. So there is a very faint line on the test. Wasn’t expecting anything so was shocked when I seen it. Picture isn’t the best but in person it’s visible and pink. Really hope this one sticks. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

@bubblybrit & @Hopefull1981 congratulations 🎉 such lovely news. I’m now 9 week and I can honestly tell you it’s been the most anxious & LONGEST 5 weeks! You won’t be able to relax but just take each day as it comes 💕 Here’s hoping for a health 9months for us all 🍀

Thank you @SLCxxx. I took a break from the thread so sorry if you have discussed this before but did you have an early reassurance scan? I have booked one but DH thinks it will make me more anxious during the run up to it!

@bubblybrit, the way I saw it was I was going to be anxious no matter what, lol. I had one at 5 weeks to make sure it was in the right place, then had one at 7 weeks (see a little embryo with a heart beat), then had one yesterday at 9+1 to see it now looks like a baby and it was dancing around. My 12 week scan is just over 2 weeks away so basically been having 2 weekly scans. It’s definitely nerve racking but something I needed. I had a 7 week reassurance scan with my MC in jan too and there was no heart beat so that’s how I discovered I was going to MC, and I still chose to have the scan this time. At 7 weeks though make sure they do a vaginal one, they won’t see much abdominally (which will be a waste of your time, money and worry), some clinics actually push for the abdominal so you have to rebook (cruel really)

4th day of positive ovulation tests now don't think i've ever had positives for this long! We dtd on Fri and Sat, was that pointless now if i still haven't ovulated? Any ideas why this would be going on for 4 days?

Just to add i had my second covid jab on Thurs, could that have affected my ovulation?

@Beleeve is there any chance you could already be pregnant? As hcg makes an opk positive. If not I have no idea sorry, the jab can mess with ovulation though xx

No @Loulou237 definately not pregnant. Not sure if i can feel the twinges now so will probably ovulate today.

We didn't dtd lastnight which i'm regretting now. I've got to go out this afternoon and the kids are in the house so to try and do it now would be really difficult. Literally zero enjoyment anymore lol

I've always used cheapie internet tests throughout the month and then the digital clearblue ones around the time of actual ovulation. Today the cheapie one i think was negative (not quite as dark as the control line) but the digi one is def positive. If it's the jab i'll be so annoyed, the information is so conflicting. The nurse said to me they advise waiting 2 months after the 2nd jab to get pregnant then she gave me a leaflet which says you don't have to wait 🤷‍♀️

Thanks @SLCxxx. My MMC was only found at my 12 week scan (baby died at 6-7 weeks) and I don’t want to go through that again. Would much rather know if the pregnancy wasn’t viable sooner rather than later. My clinic does say that a vaginal scan may be required but I’ll bear that it mind if they only push towards an abdominal one. I think I’ll also need to have several private scans just to help me feel less anxious. It’s awful feeling this way isn’t it?

Yeah sorry @Beleeve the nurse doesn't know what she's talking about about abstaining TTC 🤦🏼‍♀️ 🙈 a few people have said it's affected ovulation by a couple of days but no evidence yet to support that.

Yeah I found that before @SLCxxx @bubblybrit booked a private scan then didn't found out until she couldn't see a lot that they wouldn't do an internal one.

I'm wondering if i may ovulate twice. I had some of the discharge (sorry) i normally get before ovulation but this seemed to have gone yesterday. Now noticed some more today. So strange!

Day 5 of positives now is it that my body is struggling to ovulate?

Sorry I’m not always with the thread. I work 50 hours per week and have a 2 year old so it’s somethings hard.

@Beleeve I had my first vaccine last month and it delayed my ovulation for about 5 days. I didn’t get my usual twinges but I got my temp rise so I know I’ve ovulated. I’m on cycle day 3 now so unfortunately didn’t get lucky last cycle but it shortened my luteal phase also but 1/2 days. Just to give you an insight incase it does any of the same to you. I only have a short luteal anyway so it worries me but my acupuncturist said give it another cycle and it should correct. I had my fertile CM for 5 days prior and just bits of it. Before my loss I used to get a decent 3 days of it and ovulate. Pretty frustrating 🥺 on my day of O I’ve noticed my CM already drying up which I never used to either. I used to have the fertile stuff on day of O. My body is driving me a bit up the wall.

Yeah same @Loz2467 i don't know what my body is doing anymore. I've had short luteal phase issues too but ovulating was the one bit i could rely on and now it's all gone to pot.

I had twinges in my left side earlier today so took another ovulation test this evening (think i'm obsessed now) thinking it would be negative but nope that solid smilie is still bloody there.

I'm thinking it's either my 2nd jab from Thursday or the fact i had a few drinks sat night and then felt quite ill on the day i should have ovulated. Maybe my body backed out last minute and delayed ovulating (i've read it can do this, not sure if it's true)

Finally got a negative test today after 5 days of positives 😅 Guess it doesn't necessarily mean i did ovulate, my body may have just got sick of trying lol I assume my period will be due 2 weeks from today? It's bloody exhausing all this!

May be multiple LH rises @Beleeve I've had this a few cycles. Unless you BBT it's hard to tell if you've actually ovulated

@Beleeve sorry I read the thread at work and forgot! Hmm I’m not great with opks I’ve just ordered the clear blue digital for my next cycle. Rather than constantly messing with my CM and guessing 🙈 maybe you had a long surge? I’m not sure. How did it link with your CM? I’m nervous to use the opks. I wasn’t doing anything apart from confirming ovulation with BBT some cycles. I wanted to take the stress out of it all. Well try!

Your period might be 2 weeks yeah. Mine comes on the 13th day so usually a 12 day luteal but I’ve been struggling with the spotting prior too! Sending you baby dust!

Thanks @Loz2467 I swear by the clearblue ones, i don't use the flashing smilie one, mine just has an empty circle or solid smilie faces. I find them pretty spot on they're just a bit pricey. Maybe do what i do and use the cheapie ones the week leading to ovulation then use the clearblue nearer the time.

I'm not great with the terms but CM is like discharge right? I did have the usual thick clear discharge which i think may have gone then come back which may suggest 2 attempts at ovulation.

Are you due to ovulate soon?

@Beleeve that’s what I thought although a bit pricey it’s gonna stop the guessing game. I used to know my body so well before my loss I didn’t have to use them because I’d get 3 days of the clear CM and then Ovulate and get the twinges on the side I’m ovulating from however since my loss it’s a different ball game 😩 yeah CM - cervical mucus / discharge. Sounds great though - you’ve got the right stuff! Mine used to be plentiful but not anymore but they say age changes it but I got pregnant 9 months ago. It isn’t that long. This TTC is so hard!

No I’m just on cycle day 5 at the minute so still some time and it could be delayed again cos of my vaccine. Fingers crossed it won’t be. Sounds negative but im never that hopeful anyway! Sending baby dust for your two week wait. Xxx

Hi everyone, I’m so new to all of this. Our pregnancy that ended in miscarriage was not planned as we thought my partner couldn’t have children. We’ve decided now we know something is possible we want to try. We’ve started taking proceive and I bought some ovulation tests, I think I need to understand my cycle a lot better! I started my first period since miscarriage on Sunday and it was painless (which is a big change for me) and I decided to try the ovulation test this morning about 10am so I knew what to expect when I actually needed to use them. However it came back with a faint line on it, which I wasn’t expecting. Is this normal?? The app I use says this is a high but not peak result. I can’t ask friends and family as we’re not telling them we’re trying, anyone know of this is normal or just a blip on the test?
