@bez91 I’m going to speak to my GP this week as I need some anti sickness, but I will ask about the progesterone and let you know what they say, although as you said, may be different in other areas.

@elsimo how are the symptoms today?

Had my USS today, 7+2 (4days more than my dates) and see a lil heart beat. Feeling a lot better except the stinking cold and on and off morning sickness. Thanks for all the support 💕

Update on me my period is late by a couple of days & my "pms" hasn't gone away yet... plus I felt so sick today. Fingers crossed I actually get a positive test so I can ring fertility clinic and ask for progesterone!

Congrats on the scans and BFPs ladies! 💗 great news!

I’m on cycle day 18 and no sign of ovulation 😩 it’s usually day 14/15 but I had my Covid vaccine which I’ve heard is delaying most peoples ovulation and periods but it’s just sent me into turmoil waiting for it again when is just got back to regular cycles since my loss. 😩

@SLCxxx I did test this morning and got a positive, but started cramping and bleeding fairly heavily not long after, so its just another chemical :( this is no5 now - mc, chemical, chemical, mc, chemical

My symptoms are back along with tiredness and sickness so feeling a bit better.
I’ve moved my scan to saturday coming, i’ll be 7+1 so really hoping for a heartbeat xx

Definitely @bubblybrit it is all consuming for sure. I've applied for a new job and I'm going to start running again so hopefully they will distract me (wishful thinking)

@elsimo all positive signs, analysing symptoms even when you get that BFP is tough after loss. Hoping you get to see that little heartbeat Saturday 💕

@re6ecca so sorry to hear that. Have you been seen by them yet or are you waiting an appointment? I'm expecting at least a 9 month wait to see the recurrent MC clinic.

Please help me all!! It looks like i'm going to/am having a chemical i am beyond devastated right now!! I had 3 really strong positive pregnancy tests on FRER from 9dpo last week,developing every day. This morning only the very faintest line that i can barely see and nothing on the IC.

I know it's gone but when will i start bleeding now? Do i have to call someone if i'm don't?

I know i'm only 4 weeks but because i tested early i've know about this for a week and only lastnight had to give myself a good talking to to calm down and it would all be ok

I feel like i imagined it all!! How can it be so strong last week and now barely anything. I am so gutted this has happened twice in a row!!

I can't even bring myself to look at the tests anymore they were so strong last week! I gave myself a weekend off testing and now this.

EPU not really interested and local maternity helpline is only for 6 weeks+. I do get why but it's so horrible to be dismissed just cos you haven't reached the magic 6 number.

Hi @Beleeve so sorry you’re going through this! Is there any chance it could be due to a dodgy test? Have you got another FRER you could do? Or a cb digital? If it is a chemical I think all you can do is wait unfortunately, I’m not sure though, sorry. I hope you’ve got someone with you xxx

Thank you for replying @Loulou237 Definately not the test, took an internet cheapie at the same time which was negative (had a very very faint line last week)

I know you should ideally wait a month after a mc to try again but age is not on my side so i don't feel like i have the time to keep doing that! As cold as this sounds i just want this over with now and to try again and hopefully get some help if it happens again as it will be the 3rd time

@Beleeve ah ok then. Don’t worry about waiting I’m sure the only reason they say that is to make it easier for them on dates. Really sorry you’re going through it again. I know what you mean about wanting it all over and sorted, hope you get to try again soon xxx

I feel like the bleeding will start pretty soon, i can just feel it's on it's way. I just took another brand pregnancy test i had lying around and can barely see the line.

I'm kind of at peace with knowing it will happen now and i just want it over with. Only thing i'm worrying about in terms of being referred, firstly does a chemical 'count'? And secondly as it won't be down on my records anywhere (GP/EPU) as it's so early will they just take my word for it that it happened?

Sorry if these seem cold calculated queations i'm just so exhausted from 18months of trying and now 2 losses in a row, i want it sorted.

Just to update. The lady i spoke to this morning was in the Birthing Centre which is part of the EPU so i never actually spoke to anyone in EPU. Just by pure chance EPU just called me to check in on me after my last MC and check i'd had a negative pregnancy test (which i had) I told her what's going on and she said to ring my docs for blood tests which i have and i'm booked for tomorrow morning.

I feel quite apprehensive, even though i know this pregnancy has ended there's just something about a health professional telling you in black and white that it's happened that scares me. It is a weight off though to know both losses will now be recorded somewhere, every cloud i guess.

@Beleeve I’m so sorry. I hope if it starts then it all happens smoothly and quickly for you so you can continue your journey. Every pregnancy is a pregnancy so it’s a loss. As you have been trying for >1yr now can’t your gp refer you for fertility investigations?

Thank you for replying @SLCxxx I was referred last year, first zoom call was booked for end of May then got cancelled day before and re-scheduled for next week. So i guess silver lining is at least i can hopefully get some sort of help soon. I just don't know how they'll deal with me considering i went there not being able to get pregnant and by the time i've got an appointment i've miscarried twice.

Does anyone know if i can kill 2 birds with one stone and ask the GP to check my progestorone levels tomorrow as well as hcg? I am so utterly convinced that is my problem.

@Beleeve your already having a blood test so what harm can checking another hormone do 🤷🏼‍♀️ I would ask, it’s probably the same blood bottle

@bez91. I think that’s a good approach. I usually start symptom spotting around now and convince myself that every twinge/nauseous moment is pregnancy related. Been quite laid back so far. I’ve not even noted when AF/BFP due....I’ll just wait a few weeks and if AF doesn’t arrive by end July then I’ll test.

Sorry to hear you are going through this @Beleeve, I totally feel you having just going through it. I never got as dark a line as yours, however once I noticed the line fading on Tuesday I started bleeding on Friday, its just been like a normal period for me. No matter how little time we knew I felt devastated, worried that their is something wrong with me, we seem to conceive ok but the little bean just won't stick. I feel a little better now and looking forward to moving onto the next cycle. I just hope the chemical doesn't mess it up. I took a test today and it was negative so I'm taking it a good sign that the HCG is out my system.

Thank you so much for replying @Quinn26 It really does suck doesn't it when you know you can get pregnant but just can't keep it. It's so messed up to think that i don't see pregnancy as something that results in having a baby anymore. I just want to get this over with so i can try again, miscarry again and then be on number 3 and hopefully get referred. It's like i'm almost planning my miscarriages, what a sad way of thinking!!

I thought i would be prepared for this one but it's taken a completely different path. Last time i knew i'd passed the pregnancy before i had scan/bloods whereas this time i need the bloods to tell me what's happened and wait to pass it. Wasn't expecting it to be this way. I keep thinking that if i hadn't tested today i'd be happily walking around thinking i was still pregnant.

Yeah i'll be honest all the images i have googled of chemicals (and i have googled A LOT) no one seemed to have as strong a line as me that early on. Honestly my lines last week were amazing and now they've dropped off a cliff.

Sorry i've waffled, no one in real life knows about this so on here is my only release

@Beleeve I am so sorry you are going through this agonising time and not knowing what is going on. I’m glad the doctors have agreed to do some blood tests for you to check HCG. Also don’t see the harm in asking for progesterone too. Keep us posted and I’ll have everything crossed.

Just out of curiosity I don’t really like opks. I drink so much and struggle to get a positive on the cheapie ones. The only ones that worked before my loss was the clear blue digital with the flashing smiley and the static. I’m trying to take more of a relaxed approach so I haven’t bought an. Even though I’m borderline crazy anyway. I don’t recognise myself in this world of TTC. Anyway the question is… I usually ovulate day 14/15 of my cycle. I’ve had my Covid vaccine (Pfizer) 11 days ago. I haven’t ovulated yet and I’m on day 20. Shall I just forget this cycle. Or shall I buy some opks. I felt like I got some fertile Cm on Friday but then nothing since. Waiting for O is sometimes worst than the TWW !
